May 20, 2023It's insanely fun, the combat feeling is good. The gameplay is flowing. Mysterious. Among the best I've played in the last 10 years.

May 10, 2021I'm not into Souls-like but this game caught me from the start with it's great and accurate game play and mechanics. Every death is your own fault and you learn the timing really quickly. Interesting Story, mediocre graphics and increasing difficulty make this game for me the best of the From Software games.

Jun 17, 2021First From Software game I wasn't able to finish. :( Rage quit at the headless monkey boss fight after over a dozen tries. Maybe I'm getting old. I am definitely in the "this is way harder than dark souls" camp. It's not the game's fault though that I failed to git gud. Frigging amazing piece of art.

Jul 5, 2021I just finished the game. Sekiro have a good storyline and good dub. also amazing ost and music compose. but some main boss fights had some bug that I hate. after all, I love Sekiro and its one of my best games ever played.

Aug 27, 2021From Software don't know how to make bad games, at the moment, until the release of Elden Ring, the best Souls Like game

Oct 12, 2021The most beautiful game by FromSoft. One of the most satisfying combat system in all of gaming. Interesting story and characters and deep lore. Beautiful soundtrack. The atmosphere and world design is gorgeous. On the negative side, there are a lot of repeat bosses which I am not a fan of. Moreover, I do not like the linearity of this game.

Game World Navigator MagazineMay 15, 2019There’s no leveling (in Soulsborne sense of the word), no covenants, no multiplayer, no variety in armor and weapons. It could be written off a stylistic choice, if the rest of the game didn’t feel very similar to the previous FromSoftware games. But it does, so Sekrio comes across as rather shallow. Apr 27, 2019Sekiro Shadows Die Twice is a milestone in the genre. It offers complex, stunning and precise sword fights and duels that its predecessors lacked, and from which its successors will have to keep up with. You no longer simply learn by repeatedly and unfairly dying, but you refine your talents as a player. You seek unique methods to overcome each boss, rather than just rolling at the right time before spamming a few hits.

Edge MagazineApr 25, 2019Dozens of hours later, we're still not sure how we feel about it. It's a game of contradictions, open and flexible in its level design, yet resolutely strict in its combat... It is a brilliant game, that is certain. but it is often a difficult one to truly love. Naturally, we can't put it down. [Issue#332, p.104]
