    Игра прекрасная, невероятная атмосфера, очень хороший сюжет и затягивающий геймплей, но то что во время рыбалки леска не краснеет как в Far Cry 5 меня очень сильно разочаровала, это не приемлемая ошибка со стороны рокстар и по этому моя оценка такая низкая.     Game doesn't work at all: when you try to do minor changes to the graphic settings like the resolution or screen size, the pc just slows down almost to a complete freeze. Therefore it is impossible to play this game in anything else other than the very low potato settings.     This game plays like an early access game. Totally unacceptable. Rockstar is doing nothing to fix this piece of garbage. The game crashes just at the end of missions, so you have to restart the entire mission, or a character gets stuck somewhere so, once again, you have to restart. I hope Rockstar will get a big hit in terms of PC customers on their next game. Not only do they take fullThis game plays like an early access game. Totally unacceptable. На этом все не закончилось, в рандомное время игра вылетает, в общем счете я, наверное, потерял часов 7-8 из за того, что не сохранялся и при вылете прогресс терялся. Хотелось бы иметь в таком случае кнопку быстрого сохранения, чтобыСначала 2 дня разбирался с запуском игры, запустил.     Купил в день релиза на пк, пожалел! 2 дня не мог зайти из за ошибки, куча багов, плохая оптимизация и прочее. Подожду пол года, ибо сейчас нет смысла покупать. Очень плохая оптимизация как для слабых пк так и для сильных.     Absolutely horrible! Bought it for 80 dollars... I own a computer which fulfils the requirements without any issues, but still... the game keeps on crashing. Even after downloading up to 10 GBs of additional official updates... Reinstalling the computer, updating all the drivers etc. I found a solution: I used a tool called Process Lasso to stop the game from being stuck at 100% CPUAbsolutely horrible!     I was super excited for this game, i played a fair bit of it on the PS4 but stopped because I didn't want to ruin the experience for me with the consoles horrible graphics and having to use a controller. Honestly the 2nd time through i couldn't get through the tutorial mission.     I was enjoying the game normally on a Tuesday night, but I took a break to hit the gym and go to work the next morning anticipating another night of play on Wednesday. Wednesday night came and I found that my autosave crashed to desktop.

    There is no way to access your manual saves from the start menu. Seriously, that isn't hyperbole, you literally can't load a game from the menu. To load a manual save you must load into an autosave OR into multiplayer. Great.

    So I started multiplayer and, as soon as it loaded in, I attempted to load ALL of my saves one at a time. The autosave continues to crash the game to desktop and ALL other saves load indefinitely, never starting the game.

    I followed all of Rockstar's canned "fixes" and none of them have done a thing to resolve this issue. I submitted a ticket, set to be responded to in 24 hours, and received zero response.

    Finally, as I have invested time and money into the game, I attempted to start a new game from the beginning. This is also NOT possible from the menu. You must load into an autosave or online server to access the story menu. Except I still cannot start a new game, even after loading into online mode. The menu says "New Game is unavailable at this time" or something along those lines.

    I assume that if I sat through the opening tutorial of online play that I would be able to finally get back to the game I want to play, but I am fed up.

One can either spend some more real money or grind numerous boring missions in order to gain these gold bars.     As of August 1st, 2021, Red Dead Redemption 2 (PC Version) is graphically best looking video game of all time. Can't wait until some game beats it. It's also mechanically one of the top ones.

    Most overrated game I've played so far. Yeah, the story and the open world are great but the game is still incredibly frustrating to play. Many things just don't make sense and don't get explained, npcs and enemies are a huge pain in the ass since the world is absolutely overcrowded with them and they seem to see everything and magically communicate with each other in a matter of seconds,Most overrated game I've played so far.     A gem of a game that refuses to allow you to control the main character in any way. You will start to find yourself lost in this game, drawn in, thrilled by what it has to offer.     You are constantly fighting the game just to play the game. How any of the professional reviewers overlooked this HUGE blemish on the game is beyond me. it is your connection to the game, your physical connection through the keyboard and controller. Every time the character decides to do something different to what you expect (as the past 20 times you pressed that button it did one thing) it rips your right out of any immersion you may have.

    Here are some examples:

    1) The button to "untie hostage" and "kick hostage to death" is the same button relevant to how close to the target you are.
    2) the game will SOMETIMES aim a weapon when left trigger is pulled, SOMETIMES it will request you also them press the right trigger to aim a weapon.
    3) Auto aim will prefer to target characters you can speak to, not characters you can shoot.
    4) At one point "X" accepts an offer and "B" rejects it, then just minutes later with the same character "X" becomes reject, and "B" becomes accept.

    The game is a Ferrari with no wheels. yeah, you have a Ferrari but you cant do anything with it except leave it out of gear and rev the engine while its still inside your garage.    … Expand

    There are bad games, average games, good games, very good games and epic games. Red Dead Redemption 2 is the epic game. this is the kind of game that deserves 11 out of 10 score. This is the game every gamer should experience. Absolute epic single player adventure.

I am playing this game on Ryzen 3600 with AMD RX 5500XT 8GB and my PC can run the game at 60FPS @ 1080p with custom settings (medium to ultra). Speaking of 60FPS I used to play this game a little bit on PS4 Pro and PC version with at 60FPS makes for so much better game play.    … Expand

    I make these remarks as a veteran of numerous RPGs over the past two decades. I've never minded that there is a path of evil intent in such games; most give me good options as well as bad ones. RDR2 is not an RPG, it's a walk down the mean streets of human nature. There's no escape, no way to accomplish objectives without gunning down innocent bystanders, no way to triumph over temptation and choose the high road.

    America doesn't need "art" like this. I hope the developers will use their wealth for better purposes in future.    … Expand

    Uno de los mejores juegos que he jugado, pero, lamentablemente, un port deficiente con múltiples crasheos y glitches. Dudo que esto se arregle luego de ver el historial penoso de Rockstar en PC.
    El juego está lleno de bugs muy molestos que entorpecen la fluidez de la jugabilidad (incluso hace perder muchas misiones).

    1) Crashes a lot. The immersion of the game is broken since you have to constantly manually save.
    Can't count how many times I had to do a 30min plus mission over again because the game crashed in the middle. And it isn't just me, other family members on different PCs have the same problem.
    2) The loading performance is bad. Maybe it's just a symptom of having a complex detailed world, but the game takes way to long to load on a high end PC with an M2 drive unlike most other games I play.
    3) The pace of the game is way to slow for me. I like that it is story driven but a lot of it just moves too slow. The game often kicks into movie mode where basically the game takes over and you are watching a movie. Some of these movies are very slow and drawn out. A lot of time it's just a video of you riding a horse and you can't individually skip these parts.
    I get they are trying to set a mood, but mine turns to boredom. Instead of a skip button, maybe a speed up option would be nicer, like a 1.25, 1.5, 2x speed would have been great.
    4) Has an unusual, perhaps console based, save system where you can only save when you are out of a mission. Some of these missions can be very long so you either have to play it all through to the end, or restart it when you reenter the game. On top of that when you restore a save it puts you in some random spot and under a different context. Like if you save in front of a random encounter and then load the game the encounter is not there.
    It's as if the game developer is trying to punish players..    … Expand

    First, this game looks gorgeous! So many details it’s incredible. Second, story is really engaging and missions are well thought and versatile.

    This is really great game in single player. For online, I tried but don’t get it nor it kept my attention.

    The single player story is good but online is total garbage. Just like GTA V Online, try to do anything without getting greifed by another player with an aim bot or mod is not possible. Apparently the parley system is easily bypassed.

    Skip the irritation of multiplayer grief by PK for no reason other than to run you off the server.

    The game ran for me from day one, lower than hoped for FPS but looks great on G-Sync.

    Simply put this game is a masterpiece.

    Game worked for exactly 4 hours on the first day, then Rockstar out out patches to the game itself and the launcher and I havent been able to launch the game since. I tried every suggestion Rockstar support gave us and nothing works, I also tried many other troubleshooting attempts on my own to no avail. I tried turning off antivirus, updating windows, updating my drivers, uninstalling andGame worked for exactly 4 hours on the first day, then Rockstar out out patches to the game itself and the launcher and I havent been able to launch the game since. I tried every suggestion Rockstar support gave us and nothing works, I also tried many other troubleshooting attempts on my own to no avail. I tried turning off antivirus, updating windows, updating my drivers, uninstalling and reinstalling both the game and launcher multiple times, I tried flashing my BIOS and a bunch of other things. The really horrible part about this is that I dont really care at this point if Rockstar even fixes it eventually because I dont want the game any longer, they have lost my business going forward at this point, unfortunately Epic Games has denied my refund request because they say I played over 2 hours that first 1/2 day that it actually worked. So I am out 80 bucks and have a completely broken unplayable game! This is by far the worst game launch Ive seen in my 20+ years of PC gaming. I have reported Rockstar and Epic games to the FTC (Federal Trade Commission) and I highly suggest you all do the same if you're game is broken and you are also unable to get your money back. Rockstar should be absolutely embarrassed and ashamed of themselves.....even though they aren't. The fact that they have been almost radio silent and are only posting impersonal BS tweets from Rockstar Support that say "they are working on it" tells me that they knew the game wasn't going to work on many PC's and just planned on releasing it anyway and riding out the storm in silence. I'm not going to be Rockstars trained little **** performing tricks until they feel like I can play the game I already paid for, so I took the Steam Refund and bought myself RE2 and The Master Chief Collection instead. I do not regret anything. Thank god some companies still appreciate their clients. They will continue to receive my money. See you never Rockstar.… Expand

    This game is breathtaking! On all levels! The details, the stories, the side-quests, the graphics, the sound, the music. It all fits so well together that I almost get lost in this world and don't want to leave it.

    I think it's the best display of player freedom I've experienced in a game. You can play it exactly as you want to. Go hunting, fishing, exploring. It all fits so well together that I almost get lost in this world and don't want to leave it.

    I think it's the best display of player freedom I've experienced in a game. You can play it exactly as you want to. Go hunting, fishing, exploring. Visit small towns, big towns, cabins in the woods. Towns burned to the ground. People building houses that actually get built as time passes in the game. There's also a smorgasbord of comedic, shocking and harrowing random encounters to deal with. The game never feels boring or empty. It's the one game where I'd rather ride to the opposite side of the map for the 50th time, than I'd use fast travel. You can fast travel a bit later in the game. But I rarely do! I simply enjoy just riding and stumbling upon weird stuff I can experience.

The play the game on 1440 resolution and turn it up to ultra and have not noticed any screen tearing, or frame rate drops at all. The game is also one of the best stories Ive evern experienced and the world is alive. Game is a 10 and if the scale went up to 11 itOne of the best games I've ever played.     I bought the game when it came out on Epic. I have had a few minor issues but nothing too bad at all. I am surprised how well it runs on my RX580 / i5. Runs better than Skyrim did when it 1st came out for me. I see many low scores not because of how the game plays but because of technical issues. Makes sense! Games need to work. Period.     First time playing RDR2. Played it day one and recently beat the story. Now I'm playing it on and off online. I think it's an awesome game, I love it all around. It had a rough launch but within a few days everything was settled. Nothing to cry about really. Maybe it isn't worth it for the console folks, but it was well worth it for a first time player imo

    Problems at launch. Other than that, it's Red Dead Redemption 2 on PC! RDR2 on PC is a good game (of course), but a few patches are needed to make this the definitive way to play the game. The same problems happened with GTA V when it came out on PC and it did not take long before it was fixed. Now, the PC port of GTA V is good.     Игра прикольная, но меня бесит "меткий глаз". если убрать эту читерскую фигню, добавить крафт, недвижимость(не тот лагерь из рухляти), интересные квесты, рейды, было бы интересней.

    After a bad launch in pc, the game itself is a masterpice, there's barely bad things to say about it apart from it's difficulty as It's a very easy so it makes some fights boring and you won't use most of your food, however the amount of good things this game has, makes it almost perfect

    Despite real bad PC start, RDR2 is the great story based open-world game. The best surrounding, live looking world, nature, weather, great written characters, graphics, lightning. Everything is just high level. Yeah... not action shooter, more of meditative gameplay, some mechanics may be done better (more realistic), but overall best game to me so far.

    Disabled my antivirus Uninstalled and reinstalled the launcher and social club, and updated it. Verified the games integrity 3 times under different conditions Allowed ports to be open in my firewakk Created numerous firewall exceptions Deleted my account from the launcher and logged back in as reccomended Restarted my PC Restarted my modem Went into    To make this game work I:

    Disabled my antivirus

    Changed the name of the executable to GTA5.exe and used a GTA 5 mod to run the game
    Game crashed.
    Updated my windows
    Followed a ridiculous sequence of events to trick the launcher into working.

    And I finally got in. I played for a few minutes and paused the game. The game crashed and I cant get back in.

    This is the standard Rockstar presents after a year of development time and what, 36 billion dollars of revenue from gta 5. Pathetic.

And yet, due to their pathetic game launcher, I cannot adjust the game resolution, which is set to the correct one as far as I can tell from what my geforce app says.     После того, как мы не без проблем и с неким количеством перестрелок миновали зимний участок локации, нам открываются без крайние зеленые поля схожие из одной истории фильма «Легенда Бастера Скраггса». Это и нравится мне в игре больше всего, что почти в каждом её уголке открытого мира можно найти соответствие из мест фильмов про дикий запад.

    Ощущение от игры такое, будто ты не просто играешь и погружаешься с головой в ту эпоху дикого запада, а читаешь очень качественную книгу, произведение. В общем, сюжет чем то напомнил мне великую игру «Mafia: The City Of Lost Heaven». Не торопливый, но правильно поданный сюжет с постепенно раскрывающимися персонажами. История, рассказывающая о последствиях, от которых уже не убежать.

    То, что спустя время части геймеров игра по какой то мере не зашла или не понравилась. То это абсолютно нормально. Изначально жанр «Вестерн» адаптируется к относительно небольшой аудитории и любят его смотреть не все. Поэтому если вы не любитель фильмов о диком западе и любите скорее динамичные игры, то эта игра, вам, скорее всего не подойдет.

    Если вы раньше не играли в такие игры, то от части советую поиграть вам в игру «GUN» и «Call of Juarez». Эти игры есть на торрентах. Поэтому оголять кошелек чтобы почувствовать дух дикого запада в этот раз не нужно. Если же и они вам не зашли. То могу с уверенностью сказать, что RDR 2 — не для вас.

    Подводя итоги, могу сказать, что у компании «Rockstar Games» получился один из самых взрослых и драматичных созданных ими игр. Технически проработанных и сюжетно правильных как ГТА 4.

    My very first pre-order game ever and its satisfying on every level. I play it on my low end computer yet it still run smoothly. There some bugs and lags but it hardly noticeable. worth muh MUNEH, BOAH!!!!

    Had to update to the latest Windows and Nvidia just to get it to run. When it runs I can only play it in windowed mode. It is terrible unoptimized, crashes frequently, and kicks me from online frequently as well, making me lose progress, I did not receive any of my ultimate edition bonuses as well. They need a day one patch asap!

    This port is so broken I can't recommend buying it. I can barely get 60 fps on medium with a GTX 1080ti and 8700k @ 4.9 GHz. Some people can't even get passed the launcher. It's broken for some and possibly poorly optimized. Time will tell.

    Alright, 2070 super, 16 gb ram and i5 8600k got me 45 fps at 1440p and medium graphics preset (recommended by nvidia actually). And after every patch it seems to be even lower and lower. The game itself is a masterpiece, however, optimization and bugs turned it to a pile of crap. Make rdr2 great again rockstar.

I grinded way hard in online to try and afford the bounty hunting which is locked behind a paywall or a long grind and its the worst thing ever like no one ever playtested it without auto aim. Its pretty and that is all. Its a walking simulator and it sucks ass. I can't say enough how much I **** hate this game and the way R* is going. GTA V was a far far far far far far better game. It wasn't just a garbage launch but its a garbage game. Every design decision they went with was just **** terrible. Its clunky as **** slow as **** and not fun to play at all. I don't see how anyone has fun playing RDR2. Im going to have to try out cheating and hacking to see if that makes it fun but it probably won't. The animal spawns in online are laughable so hunting isn't fun and the gun mechanics are clunky so PVP isn't fun. Plus they through in pay to win dead eye cards… Expand

    it seem really cool and i could play 10 hours before it crash always. Can't play anymore now even if i disabled antivirus, maj windows and clean profile......there is no solution......too bad

You could get lucky and play the game perfectly with no issues in single player or online, or you could have an unplayable mess from a game that is already a year old. The servers are a mess and can't handle anywhere near the capacity necessary, and the game itself has serious problems, that require external programs and dumb solutions to even mitigate,PC version is such a complete farce.     Not to mention the online side of the game adopts the same greedy, cash grabbing balancing system that we all know and love from Rockstar, with large parts of the system locked behind a hard ~2 week daily grind without paying extra for. But don't worry, you can buy literally everything with gold (premium currency), from weapon upgrades, to entirely new weapons, to flat out raw power horse upgrades and so on, there's nothing in the game you can't buy or make significantly easier with the premium currency.    … Expand

    Why did I give $ 40 for a game that crashes all the time and isn't optimized at all? The game itself is a masterpiece, it is very interesting to play, but to remove the departures and brakes would be good

    its a peace of **** with cyclic error 0x20010006 every 5-10 minutes and freezes every 2 minutes, nothing about optimization, The dumbest waste of money

    Tried every "fix" that has been released and the game keeps crashing. Tried to get a refund and have been told by Epic because I have more than 2 hours I don't qualify. Rockstar and Epic have done a pre-holidy money grab. Wait until it comes out on Steam because at least then you'll know it's working and if not have a decent chance to get your money back.

    "Rockstar Game Launcher exited unexpectedly" - this now happens to me *after* the "patch".

Its just so frustrating when your in a mission and then the f*cking error code shows up or when you collect things then crashes and it doesnt even save! Listen Rockstar, if you guys want us Players to buy Outlaw passes or Gold in the future then atleast make it a good expierience for consumer.

Also the economy is weird and you only seem to be able to sell items of any type to a fence at one location on the map. Weapons obtained cannot be sold ever, it is not clear why.     I have to make account just for this game, I have waited so long this to come to PC, and when it finally got revealed to pc, I had to PRE-ORDER, I wanted to give a chance for Rockstar by preordering, and I even preordered that over 80€ edition, and then, release day comes and what I get, crashing crashing crashing crashing, crashing game between 1-60 minutes so randomly, and then I haveI have to make account just for this game, I have waited so long this to come to PC, and when it finally got revealed to pc, I had to PRE-ORDER, I wanted to give a chance for Rockstar by preordering, and I even preordered that over 80€ edition, and then, release day comes and what I get, crashing crashing crashing crashing, crashing game between 1-60 minutes so randomly, and then I have contacted Rockstar Support and what else I have received from there to this day but universal troubleshooting tips what haven't worked for me at all and they have also check'd my pc system files, and still only UNIVERSAL troubleshooting fix/tips from them, so now I drop the bomb here, I have to this day since pc release day, have get constant, same crashing as first time launching game, random crashes to this day, so I haven't been able to finish the game to this day since release day, think about it, this is f*cking disgusting, and I have already sent my most greatest hate mails to them, but it won't do nothing, I have even threatened them with suing... So I'm truly honest here, I paid over 80€ for this experience, the worst experience what I have ever had with any game, and I haven't never been so truly ANGRY for gaming company, but they did it, first time ever, I have gone trough hate, and there's nothing anymore left than tiredness, I don't have energy anymore to stand this, so they say that they are STILL aware of that ERR_GFX_STATE error in that game, but they couldn't up to this day find me a solution, THINK about it, to this day, they haven't fixed my problem with this game, over like 7 MONTHS I have been WAITING to play this game without crashing, AND still NOTHING!?!?! I will NEVER EVER preorder anything from Rockstar, my first and my truly LAST time!!!!!!!! And perhaps never ever I will buy any games from Rockstar.… Expand

    An absorbing tale that will test your machine and tear ducts. A game that did not suffer from being brought to PC. RDR2 is worth overcoming all the shortcomings, since it is one of the best games of the decade. [Issue#300]

    My biggest warning to anyone considering purchasing RDR2 on PC is that you need to have patience when you set it up. Take the time to go through each graphics option, compare your performance on Vulkan vs. DirectX 12, and tailor the game to your specs. Once you have the game tuned, there’s no better way to experience it than on PC.
