    Неплохо бы нанять хотя бы одного (!) тестера, перед тем, как запускать игру на ПК. Но, видимо, Rockstar слишком бедная студия, чтобы иметь в своем штате (или на аутсорсе) людей, занимающихся проверкой работоспособности игры, которую на ПК ждут сотни тысяч (если не миллионы) людей.Неплохо бы нанять хотя бы одного (!) тестера, перед тем, как запускать игру на ПК.     this game is broken as hell. RDR Online disconnect every 2 min and this mouse cursor is always shown in game, no fix is working for me.

    Sorry but i cant play the game anymore.

    My experience is awesome, I started the game with the rockstar games launcher ended unexpectedly error, and I cannot get past the first error trial. I tried all of the troubleshooting steps, but this puzzle just beats me. Either way, the error windows looks crisps even if it is like 600x400 pixels. I really admire rockstar for it's social commentary, realism and attention to detail. IMy experience is awesome, I started the game with the rockstar games launcher ended unexpectedly error, and I cannot get past the first error trial. I really admire rockstar for it's social commentary, realism and attention to detail. I actually feel like some guy from the beginning of the 20th century that uses a computer for the first time.     This PC launch has been riddled with issues and rockstar doesnt even keep us in the loop, says the same thing "submit a ticket" just blames driver updates and hardware and not there own mistakes.     It is a shame I can not even evalute this game since the launcher crashes. I installed windows updates, drivers etc. but nothing helped. Is it normal to sell top games these days that can not even be launched? Not to mention other problems...

    * I’m running and Intel core i9 with 64 GB of RAM an RTX 2080 TI (Zotech ampe extreme core) 2 Samsung pro 4tb ssds (in raid zero) and a 2tb m.2 Everything is fully water cooled and overclocked to the absolute max, juiced every ounce out of this $17,000 rig, my Average frame rates stay between 30 and 50 FPS, I literally have to drop the settings down to high and some even medium to even come close to achieving a solid 60fps Possibly the worst optimized game I have ever had the displeasure of playing

    And this is after already purchasing it on the Xbox one X @rockstar Was it worth launching your launcher down our throat by force all to get a matacritic score of under 3 on game that was rated one of the highest rated games of the year when it launched on Consoles?     Don't buy this game! It is unplayable for many people. I updated drivers, etc., followed all the tips, and it still crashed repeatedly. Finally, it stopped launching completely. I tried verifying multiple times in the Epic launcher. Game is not ready to play.

    Even I just play 30% of main story, spend hours in free ride, some side quests and few hours Online I can say, the game has great graphics, lots of detail I love and never seen anywhere else ... it has great feeling. I really wanted to buy cowboy hat when playing RDR2 (and drinking whiskey :D).

Mistake has been made ...even such big and great studio can make (and made) mistake.
    What can you do? Let yourself be hired by Rockstart to show you skills ...next realease should be perfect than.
    For me GAME OF THE YEAR.

    Неиграбельно. Первые 3 дня я просто не мог её запустить. Помогло лишь обновление БИОСа, вышедшего 7 (SIC!) ноября. Сейчас же постоянные вылеты. Рефанд.

    I buy PC utimate edition only because I respect ROCKSTAR and games they made (Also I did buy it on console).
    But after what they did to PC. I will newer preorder any games from them. 2080ti - 30 fps on 4K. Is this a JOKE or something? Grafic are not way better then GTAV! And what about recomended system requirments? Does 25 fps on 1060    The game is GREAT. Did coplete it on PS PRO.

    Waited for the game, bought the game, disappointed, deleted, no optimization, GTX 1060-6GB-medium-high graphics settings-25 frames. I wish I could get the money back. Better would waited for its in Steam.

    Having 2080ti + i9900k, Windows 10 latest version.
    Everything works awesome from day one.
    I had only one issue with Dualshock 4, it does not recognized by the game.
    Everything else is pretty much great, only optimization could be little better (in 4K ultra settings only 30-40 FPS).
    Thanks Rockstar, you are the best, BOAH!!)

    I am very frustrated with Take Two Interactive/Rockstar Games. I spent over 200$ to upgrade my pc to the recommended specifications and I am met with severe cpu spiking and constant freezes that make the game unplayable. The settings do not scale properly to allow better performance. There are many issues and bugs. I can't even properly lower my resolution without bugs appearing.

    Being    I am very frustrated with Take Two Interactive/Rockstar Games. I spent over 200$ to upgrade my pc to the recommended specifications and I am met with severe cpu spiking and constant freezes that make the game unplayable. The settings do not scale properly to allow better performance. There are many issues and bugs. I can't even properly lower my resolution without bugs appearing.

    Being patronized by Rockstar to "update my drivers" was a bad move. I feel a strong presence of corporate interference with this launch. I get the impression from take two that they struck a deal with gpu companies (nvidia, amd) to coerce more players into buying high end gpu's. I'm angry that I spent money on recommended (which in my mind means 60fps at med-high settings) hardware that turns out to be subpar even on some of the lowest settings. The game runs even worse at lower settings.

    There needs to be some type of recourse for these publishers that pressure developers into pushing out subpar product. I for one will never preorder another Rockstar title after this disappointment.

    I built a pc based off the prediction of this release 2 years ago, and for this to fail as hard as it is and to be given a patronizing response over obvious greed is a real bummer.

    It might be a good game if I could play in it without any problem. And the hardest quest in it is to play with your friend. We spent about an hour to connect each other. Worst launch I've ever seen. And it seems that developers just don't care about us. Already week is gone but nothing changed.

    Вот сценарий:
    0) Едем до квеста 5 мин
    1) Начинаем квест и едем на указанное место еще 5 мин
    2) Делаем квест еще мин 5
    3) едем назад в лагерь 5-10 мин чтобы начать новый
    Нудно...
    В игре есть репутация которая ни на что не влияет. Сначала всем помогаешь +, украл лошадь -, убил 1000 человек в городе по сюжету ничего...
    Выбора нет в сюжете вообще, ни на что влиять не можете. 2019 год найс!
    Мир огромный и пустой, квестов интересных нет. прошел игру не могу вспомнить
    ни одного момента интересного который бы удивил.
    ЕЗДА, ЕЗДА, ЕЗДА!
    Симулятор езды на лошади.

    После квестов Ведьмака 3, где любой квест был сделан на отлично,
    любой побочный квест вызывал эмоции и восторг,
    то в рдр 2 вызывает только БОЛЬ как все топорно сделано.

    Ну и вылеты тоже портят игру. Особенно когда вылетает под конец миссии и
    тебе надо опять ехать и слушать херню 15 мин...

    Самая нудная игра в которую я когда либо играл.

    The game is unoptimized there is no gpu to play rdr2 on ultra 4k 60 fps the rtx2080ti and 8700k nearly runs 45 fps and drops to 20 fps I am disappointed rockstar

    Game itself: runs at 30fps on medium settings on a gtx1060
    (Not to mention the plethora of bugs)
    I feel like even gta 4 was better optimized than this

    I just can't get into the game due to a rockstar game launcher error. I have already updated the drivers on the video card, and updated Windows to the latest version, reinstalled the launcher and turned off antivirus. FIXED.

    It's a disgrace and having bought most of the R* titles down the years, I will never give them money again. They haven't even publicly acknowledged their failures, they just keep releasing patches that DON'T fix the game.

    I bet their QA/Test Lead is sh1tting himself currently and rightly so. Whilst I appreciate PC releases have a complexity attached on release which differs from consoles but this experience stinks of a team that hasn't tested properly. I've never had this experience with ANY other pre-ordered or purchased game.

    The fact that Gaming Media have effectively buried the issue and CNET releasing some nonsense article stating the 'majority of problems are fixed' - I don't believe it, I suspect R* have reached out as a damage limitation exercise and these **** journalists have agreed so as to not risk getting future pre-releases for review.

    If I could give a minus score I would.

    Finally, their 14 day refund policy is a joke, thieving scumbags.    … Expand

    I5 6500 has 100% overload. In cutscenes. As result with 1080ti on medium quality: min fps 0.1, medium 64 fps, max 118. And it's unplayable.

    The PC version works really well. First I had crashes on startup which was caused by Bitdefender Advanced Threat Detection. Adding an exception for the game solved the problem. The game runs really well on my 2080 Ti. Playing on 4k with Ultra settings and around 40 fps.

    Not gonna lie, it's probably best game I've ever played. My favourite game. But it's very bad optimized for PC. I expected better performance after GTA 5. I hope Rockstar will release a patch for this poor optimization.

    Rockstar did you even test this or did you hire Bethesda to do your testing? I tried all the launch suggestions and still cannot get this game to launch more than 5 seconds into a loading screen. Well done Rockstar, well done.

    OK rockstar ,bad start doesnt mean that game is bad. With no doubt its one of the best game ever made. PLease rockstar check before releising games. And i ll never buy anything without steam. Hope Cyberpunk will start better. Anyway thank you for great game and incredible world.

    Bought it, doesnt work, just drops without error (cant send crash report), cant find such symptoms on reddit or somewhere, support doesnt answer. So, it is nothing to rate. What should i do?reinstall drivers, windows, download 110gb again? I dont have time even for entering goddamn rockstar launcher captcha!

No fast travel option TO your camp only from your camp WTH R* what where you thinking? Hunting is boring af, fighting is boring af, shooting is even worse - even a monkey could do that.     Still can't launch it. As for me, crash at launch that isn't fixed in several hours is unacceptable for game from such a big developer as R*.
    UPD: R* fixed the issue in two days. So I think that it's time to score the game itself.

    All the bad reviews are not about but game, but about the launch experience. It's non-sense to give a game like this a bad review just because of a short term problem.

    10/10 here.
    This is BY FAR the BEST game I've ever played. Nothing seems to get even close to what Rockstar Games did this time. Red Dead Redemption II is a MASTERPIECE.

    The good:
    1 - World feels alive, a lot of scripted encounters and events.
    2 - Really high level of detalization. The snow and mud are gorgeous. The voice acting has some nice little details, like starting shouting when your buddies are far away from you, or resuming the discussing from the place where you stopped due to some ingame event.
    3 - Quests are mostly interesting and not repetitious.
    4 - Runs pretty good now, 2 months after release, compared to what it was on the release. The game crashed maybe 3 times for me, and there are not a lot of bugs.

    The bad:
    1 - Absolutely horrible controls for PC. Maybe for PS4 they are good, but having to guess a correct button for every action is really annoying. Why is context action sometimes executed by 'F', sometimes by 'R' and sometimes by the mouse buttons ? WTF...
    2 - No normal saves. If you die - enjoy watching a cutscene for the 5-th time. (Yes, it can be skipped by pressing F, i mean R, i mean Space)
    3 - The game is really slow. There is hardly any fast travel available, and even where it is, you are shown the same cutscene for like 30 seconds.
    4 - Enjoy riding your horse for about 30% of your gameplay time. Just to talk to some dude and then ride half the map back.
    5 - As an open world game, the plot is too straightforward. You can not influence anything by your own choices.
    6 - Soundtrack is not memorable

    Overall, if not for the absolutely horrible controls, i could give it a 8. But having to watch the right bottom side for the clue of which button i should press in every situation just kills it for me. 6/10.
    And watching as somebody compared this to Witcher 3 - lol ! I really hoped this game could achieve a half of what The Witcher 3 did, but they are just different leagues.    … Expand

    For everyone having stutter in Read Dead Redemption 2. Limit your framerate to 60 frames using riva turner then you'll have a smooth experience. My extra tip is look how much of your graphics card percentage are being used, if it's being used below 85% percent increase the resolution instead of putting everything on ultra for a more crisp image quality and if you don't know how to do itFor everyone having stutter in Read Dead Redemption 2.     Это ужас. Купил, долго пытался запустить, то файлы отсутствуют, то вылет просто, но когда получилось, на экране постоянно был курсор.
    Есть много описанных способов решения проблемы, мне не помог ни один. Оформил возврат.

    Не передаваемая атмосфера в игре, заставляет закрыть глаза на ошибки в игре, что для начала выхода продаж обычное дело для игр такого уровня на ПК.

We had problems at 5th of November(so is English government at 1605 lol) but once they released a 2gb update, it fixed everything for me. No FPS drops, no crashing etc.

    Also I LOVED the game physics. It looks like you watch an animation movie, not playing a game. Everything is so smooth.

    This is the worst launch game I've ever seen. Even Fallout 76 was better. We couldn't be able to open the game because of the launcher error that keeps crashing the launcher. Fix your god damn thing!

    Playing on ultra settings with my GTX 1070 TI, no problems at all. On the first day launch the only problem I had was my screen resolution doesn't match the game which was hard to find the settings to fix it. Honestly people who rate the game poorly either have a terrible rig or just following the hate bandwagon.

    Keeps forgetting my settings. Often crashes when I try to apply settings. Controls haven't been adjusted for PC and are awful. Shameful. I wish I could get a refund. Don't bother.

    Seemed fun but I lost internet and now there's nothing I can do to get into the game to play the single player. Hotspoting didn't work, I've been trying everything for the last hour and this is completely unnecessary. This is all to avoid piracy, but I should have just pirated the game to begin with.

But other than that, game provides tons of future proof graphical settings to tinker with, and when properly configured runs quite well even on older cards like rx580.

    My biggest warning to anyone considering purchasing RDR2 on PC is that you need to have patience when you set it up. Take the time to go through each graphics option, compare your performance on Vulkan vs. DirectX 12, and tailor the game to your specs. Once you have the game tuned, there’s no better way to experience it than on PC.
