    Runs ok on my PC, so far (had to update graphics drivers). Very pretty scenery, and seems to run pretty smoothly. But "press TAB to pick up your pistol" then "press R to pick up your hat". "Press E to look at the picture" "Press Space to look at the back" "Press **** to put the picture down". What a stupid interface.     в игре вообще нет оптимизации, но даже так, играть можно было на средне высоких настройках 80-90 фпс, но если бы было так я не писал бы этот отзыв, потому что это ебаное говно постоянно меня выкидывает из игры, как я блять должен в неё играть, если меня выкидывает, верните мне деньги, я и куча других игроков заплатили 2.5к - 3.5к просто так что лив игре вообще нет оптимизации, но даже так, играть можно было на средне высоких настройках 80-90 фпс, но если бы было так я не писал бы этот отзыв, потому что это ебаное говно постоянно меня выкидывает из игры, как я блять должен в неё играть, если меня выкидывает, верните мне деньги, я и куча других игроков заплатили 2.5к - 3.5к просто так что ли

    Seen a lot of user reviews complain about the performance so I was skeptical about what to expect. Running at 1440p with a realistic High Preset with some settings scaled to Medium and some to Ultra, RDR2 is rock solid so far with a target of 75FPS to match the 1440p monitor refresh rate it manages to hit that for good chunks    System Tested - Ryzen 5 3600 / RX 5700 XT / 16GB DDR4 3200

    no frame drops at all at fullHD. What rigs do all these people have? Or why do they buy 1440p or 4k monitors powered by bad rigs.... don't get it.

    У меня система на Рязани 2700 и ртх2070 на фулхд и ультрах держит почти 60 кадров. Ниже 50 просадок не было, но гуляет фпс сильно! В принципе небольшая проблема.
    Проблема в вылетах, багах игры, А ГЛАВНОЕ БАГАХ ************ ЛОУНЧЕРА. То игра не запускается или вылетает, то лоунчер. Это провал! 10 из 10 и - 5 за неготовый кусок *********    Если коротко.

    Я не верю, что ни один человек в студии не запустил игру перед её релизом.
    В чём смысл публиковать фейковые системные требования и выпускать игру с ошибками и наихудшей оптимизацией с которой я только сталкивался в своей жизни? Мне кажется, если бы группа энтузиастов сделала эмулятор за 3 дня и попыталась запустить на нём RDR2, то у них бы получилось куда лучше.     Awesome game, awesome port, everything works fine for me.
    I got no problems so far, well, decrypting after preload for 1,5 hours was a pain in the as but who cares, the game works fine.

    Great game! Beautiful graphics, interesting story, interesting game world. If there are problems, I'm sure they'll be fixed soon. Fortunately, Rockstar remains one of the few studios that care about the quality of their products.

    Can't even launch game because "R* Launcher closed". Why? No one knows. I can't believe that such rich company released their flagship game without any testing (because it looks like there were none since first results in search engines only about crashes and "fixes").

    The game is poorly optimized and has a handful of bugs unfortunately, it's a shame that Rockstar Games released the so awaited PC version in its current state, i had to update my motherboard BIOS to be able to run the game and even so it runs like **** and have a lot of bugs. Not worth it right now IMO, wait for a few months so Rockstar releases patches fixing the game, Right now is unplayable

Пять часов попыток запустить не к чему не привели. Игры прошёл на Хбоксе Х. На свой памяти, даже не вспомню такого фейла.Это просто катастрофа. Было интересно, но я не фанат игры с геймпада. Поэтому ждал эту игру на ПК с огромным нетерпением. И ни минуты не жалею. Сюжет хорош, геймплей интересен. Не смотря на свою    Gameplay 10/10

    Прекрасная игра, шикарная атмосфера, звук и музыка выше всех похвал и создают полное погружение в этот мир.
    Играл в неё на консоли в прошлом году. Было интересно, но я не фанат игры с геймпада.
    Поэтому ждал эту игру на ПК с огромным нетерпением. И ни минуты не жалею.

    Сюжет хорош, геймплей интересен. Не смотря на свою размеренность и медлительность геймплей не заставляет скучать. В этой неспешности есть даже своё очарование.
    Никаких проблем с запуском игры не было. Картинка на средних или чуть лучше настройках графики 50-60 FPS без каких-либо проблем.

    Что касается самой игры, проработки, сюжета, огрового мира и т.д то естественно высщий пилотаж! Игра сама шикарнейшая, но только сама игра идеальная а вот оптимизация просто ноль...ребята ну вы издеваетесь чтоли...даже мощные компы ее не очень та уж хорошо тянут..оптимизация на нуле...есть игры требовательнее РДР2 но они идут в сто раз лучше и выдают очень хороший фпс так как естьЧто касается самой игры, проработки, сюжета, огрового мира и т.д то естественно высщий пилотаж!     - There is no option to change keyboard mappings. Are PC Players a joke to you Rockstar?
    - No option to change the ingame language as well?

    Прошел игру еще год назад на пс4. Решил перепройти на пк в 60 фпс так сказать. Сделал предзаказ в Rockstar launcher. Игра тормозит при любых настройках. на ай5 с печ1060. Первая игра что даже на минималках вообще не может стабильно работать. Это худший запуск у рокстаров. 1 из 10. Сейчас вообще не советую ее покупать.Прошел игру еще год назад на пс4.     Casi 24 horas después sigo sin poder jugar. Error del launcher. He probado todas las recomendaciones, tanto las de la propia Rockstar, como del resto de usuarios, y nada. Y no estamos hablando de un PC antiguo ni mucho menos.
    Yo no puedo acceder al juego, pero ellos si que acceden sin problema al dinero que les he pagado.

    Always blows me away when people's "drawback" is you can't max out all settings 100% at 4k and get a high frame rate. Don't they know most of the time in 99% of games it requires some tweaking. RDR2 is an amazingly gorgeous game, one of the best graphical games ever made with probably the highest production values ever seen. It's better than the console version in every way and clearly a classic.

    Disregard for PC players !!! Only the game menu is launched, in the video settings of the game, the amount of video memory is not true! The loading menu freezes when trying to download a single game!

    Я все понимаю, верю и сам видел все проблемы игры на релизе. Но у меня, на моей слабой по сегодняшнем меркам системе, RDR 2 идёт в 70-80 FPS на средних настройках. Игра выглядит потрясно, играется так же. Нареканий нет, игра десятилетия, игра поколения.     A great game that looks and feels absolutely amazing on a PC. It really is unfortunate that so many people are having issues, and I really hope this gets fixed ASAP. I would be super annoyed if I couldn't play a game I paid for either! Good luck and good speedy bug fix!

    Rockstar did you even test this or did you hire Bethesda to do your testing? I tried all the launch suggestions and still cannot get this game to launch more than 5 seconds into a loading screen. Well done Rockstar, well done.

    Seems like everyone is hopping on the hate bandwagon on this one.
    Tons of people with 1050ti's expecting to have 60fps @4k in this game rating it 0/10.
    My GTX 1070 handles it pretty good @ a mix of high/medium settings at 1440p.
    Occasional lag spikes.

    Other than that it's great. Online works well, story is good, etc.

But what should we expect from people who scrapped few singleplayer DLC for sake of a garbage casino in GTA V multiplayer and come up with stupid idea of making worthless launcher?

Игра сама шикарнейшая, но только сама игра идеальная а вот оптимизация просто ноль...ребята ну вы издеваетесь чтоли...даже мощные компы ее не очень та уж хорошо тянут..оптимизация на нуле...есть игры требовательнее РДР2 но они идут в сто раз лучше и выдают очень хороший фпс так как естьЧто касается самой игры, проработки, сюжета, огрового мира и т.д то естественно высщий пилотаж!     Лучшая игра 2019 (по моему мнению) стала еще красивее и четче в 100 фпс на высоких настройках(1070 и I7 7700).Ранее прошел ее на обычной пс 4 .

I tried all of the troubleshooting steps, but this puzzle just beats me. Either way, the error windows looks crisps even if it is like 600x400 pixels. I really admire rockstar for it's social commentary, realism and attention to detail.     10 out of 10, incredible atmosphere, great directed, art design propably best ive seen in video game,on i7 4790k 16gb ram gtx 6gb on medium /high settings ~ 45/60 fps and game feels smooth even on forty.

    Amazing! Paid £54 ($69.50) only for it to crash 1 second into the intro video. They literally can't even program a game to make it to the main menu. And no way to report/submit bugs to anyone at Rockstar! Great!

    A two day closed beta period before release would have solved this. Excellent!

    Well I'm very glad to say, as far as I'm concerned, there hasn't been a bump in the road yet. The game has run smoothly from the first time that I launched it. There have been no issues at all, no crashes. The game looks great, with moderately high settings. Admittedly, I have only played two hours, in Story Mode. Most people who've had problems were saying they'd had them right from the start, though. But maybe it's different if you play Online -- I wouldn't know, because I don't care at all about online play.

    Exactly what I'm running :
    Windows 10 Home, 64 bits.
    Core i7-4770.
    16 Gb of DDR-3 RAM.
    1x ASUS GTX-1070 Dual.
    My Mo-bo is a proprietary Acer piece of garbage. (My whole setup is based on a prebuilt PC that I tricked out. It involved making myself a custom adapter for the weird 12-pin power-supply connector, and switching the power-supply out for a 550W unit to power the GPU. It's a bit frankenstein-ey but it works. And the prebuilt unit was pretty cheap for the parts it contained...)

    I installed the latest Nvidia drivers before I ever ran the game, and you probably should too. Software-wise, I should also point out that I'm not running any special anti-virus protection. Just Windows Defender has always been plenty for me. Also, in case that's ever relevant, I bought the game from Rockstar Games Launcher directly.

    Once the game started, I did have to "Alt-Tab" my way to a pop-up window asking me to set an exception in Windows Firewall for the game -- The game didn't stop running, but as I saw it flash by, I figured I might as well go ahead and allow it right then and there. Then it loaded fine, I adjusted the gamma setting, and I was on my merry way !

    Game settings :
    1920x1080 @ 60 fps
    V-Sync on.
    I went with what the game recommended. Most settings are on "High" -- some are on "Ultra", some are on "Medium". I did decrease the water physics a bit, and upped some other things that I can't remember now.
    Crucially, I disabled motion blur (which has never been worth it in my book), and MSAA (because why would you) but I did allow FXAA (it's lightweight and makes a difference for me).

    I would say that the game keeps up a good 60 fps, and it certainly never dips below 45. So for my money, this is waaay more than playable -- it's gorgeous, it runs smoothly, and so far, I love it.

    I wanted to share this because the ever-dipping meta-critic user score on here today had me worried. People seemed to be saying that it was an awful PC port, that it was unplayable, or ridden with crashes and unfixed bugs. Well so far that has not been the case for me. As for the optimisation I don't know what the issue would be. This game's graphics, with the settings I'm running, is at least on par with the other games I run on my setup, with similar graphics settings. I'd even say it looks better than, say, AC Odyseey or Witcher 3. So Maybe the lesson here is : have realistic expectations. Maybe you won't be hable to run this at a 4k resolution, with everything on Ultra, with a GTX-1060. But your setup can be a little out-dated (as mine is), and it will still handle this beautifully. Of course, I don't know what it looked like on consoles, maybe by running these modest game settings, my game looks no better than the console version. But I don't have a console, so it's still worth it for me to play this game.

    To sum up : somewhat out-dated hardware, no special software hacks. Latest drivers. Game runs like a charm at a reasonable framerate, with reasonable settings, and is very enjoyable. For me, that's a 10/10. For now.    … Expand

    The optimization is really poor. I get a hard 5-second freeze at random. The freezing makes the game unplayable. This has been a great disappointing experience for me.

It is extremely temperamental and navigating it with a mouse and keyboard is a nightmare. This whole process would be so much better if it was simply on steam and I didn't need epic games and the rockstar launcher. I paid a good 80 dollars for the special edition and I can't even enjoy the game. Rockstar please fix this buggy garbage.… Expand

GTA5 шикарно сделали, на релизе отлично игралась, а вот RDR2 - просто неоптимизированный кусок сами понимаете чего. 1 балл за созданный хайп вокруг пк-версии.     Rockstar Launcher keeps crashing, game is very badly optimized, the Denuvo DRM is probably causing a lot of problems like it did in other games. Honestly this is just pathetic and sad, why screw over your paying customers??? This should have released on Steam for a stable launch, without your garbage Rockstar Launcher and without intrusive DRM Denuvo causing problems.

    My biggest warning to anyone considering purchasing RDR2 on PC is that you need to have patience when you set it up. Take the time to go through each graphics option, compare your performance on Vulkan vs. DirectX 12, and tailor the game to your specs. Once you have the game tuned, there’s no better way to experience it than on PC.
