    unplayable!! Game sluggish and falls down to 40 fps in 1080p using OVERCLOCKED 5 GHz i9-9900K and RTX 2080? You know, when you beta-test game, you should PAY your testers, and NOT charge them with pre-orders. I will NEVER pre-order anything from you again.

    It is a shame I can not even evalute this game since the launcher crashes. I installed windows updates, drivers etc. but nothing helped. Is it normal to sell top games these days that can not even be launched? Not to mention other problems...

    This PC launch has been riddled with issues and rockstar doesnt even keep us in the loop, says the same thing "submit a ticket" just blames driver updates and hardware and not there own mistakes.     why we actually need dat launcher? i only want play the game. and i already have epic games and steam. i dont wanna setup more of them, but r* makes me do that, and then th game doesnt work with it at all. why should i pay for that?

    Просто невероятно глупо ставить игре плохие оценки, просто из-за того, что она херово стартанула на PC. Всем понятно, что Rockstar просто так это не оставит, и выкатит патчи в ближайшее время. Игра шикарная. PC игроки ждали год, так подождите еще пару дней и спокойно играйте, нечего портить игре оценке.Просто невероятно глупо ставить игре плохие оценки, просто из-за того, что она херово стартанула на PC. Всем понятно, что Rockstar просто так это не оставит, и выкатит патчи в ближайшее время. Игра шикарная. PC игроки ждали год, так подождите еще пару дней и спокойно играйте, нечего портить игре оценке.

    de configurações de gráficos para alterar, porem mesmo reduzindo alguns detalhes o desempenho ainda permanece ruim na casa dos 48 fps sendo o GTA V rodo com quase tudo no ultra em 4k 60fps. Agora olhei alguns reviews como esse da guru3d e notei que as RTX 2070 e 2070 super estão desempenhando melhor que as 10x séries que tem desempenhos semelhantes. Estranho isso não?    … Expand

    Waited for the game, bought the game, disappointed, deleted, no optimization, GTX 1060-6GB-medium-high graphics settings-25 frames. I wish I could get the money back. Better would waited for its in Steam.

PS Лучше купил бы в стиме и не было бы проблем.     Это ужас. Купил, долго пытался запустить, то файлы отсутствуют, то вылет просто, но когда получилось, на экране постоянно был курсор.
    Есть много описанных способов решения проблемы, мне не помог ни один. Оформил возврат.

    Amazing game. Spectacular graphics, amazing character depth and a fully realised world, with a deep story. Stunning. (And zero issues on PC from launch day - smooth as you like!)

    Игра отличная! GTX 1060 6gb, Ryzen 5 2600x, 16gb ddr4 — на средних настройках выдаёт 45-50 fps в среднем (FullHD). Играть вполне комфортно!

    Кстати, пришлось добавить в исключения папку с игрой у антивируса, потому что из-за него игра вылетала.

    It took an hour to simply start the game. Disable antivirus (?), disable HDR in TV settings, start game in safe mode..
    DX12 does not work. Game closes without any error. Have to delete game settings files and start game in safe mode after changing mode to DX12.

    Игра сама по себе хорошая. Хороший пример другим разработчикам игр.

    Но я лучше буду играть на ПК, так как на геймпаде я играю так-же как др*чу левой рукой, то есть откровенно хреново.

    Спасибо Рок-Звездам что дали возможность попробовать эту игру и на ПК. Почти без проблем запустился на моей не очень и новой Машине. Понимаю что Порты с консолей всегда сложнее делать и по этому спокойно подожду все нужные патчи. То что я увидел уже, меня полностью радует. Давно не ударялся так сильно в Сингл-игры.Спасибо Рок-Звездам что дали возможность попробовать эту игру и на ПК. Почти без проблем запустился на моей не очень и новой Машине.     Специально для этой игры разорился на RTX 2080, так как знал, что игра требовательна к железу. В итоге на моей мощной системе игра даже не запускается. Уже два дня. Следовательно, ничего выше нуля.

    If this were still stuck on console I'd have to give 2/10 at best b/c consoles suck. but now I can finally play this game as God intended, on my Mountain Dew cooled PC with 32 cores 1 petabyte of RAM and 4 GTX 2080TI Supers! The only thing missing is the My Little Pony mod I'm making in between masturbation sessions.

    Это полный провал. Я помню, как GTA 5 лагала на моем старом "деревянном" компьютере с 1гб видеопамяти. Теперь у меня i7 6700K, GTX 1070 8гб, и RDR2 на ней идет как GTA 5 там. Вот только все остальные современные игры тянут ультра настройки, а тут всего лишь средние.
    А ещё игра вылетает, в ней постоянно всплывают визуальные артефакты. Когда-то я предзаказал Fallout 76, и очень расстроился,    Это полный провал. Рокстар имеет хорошую репутацию в разработке игр, так что я уверен, что эти фризы и проблемы с фпс будут решены в кратчайшие сроки. Да, я согласен, что это фейл - выпустить игру с такими проблемами. Но нужно поверить в их профессиональность и их прямые руки. 10 из 10.

    Шикарная игра! На 1060 запустилась с первого раза без проблем. Даже не понимаю, почему у других людей, имеющих мощнее компьютеры она не запускается. В общем, не пожалел одэтжанных за игру денег.

Is this Denuvo at work again? Instead of buying expensive DRM that will eventually be cracked anyways, maybe they should spend more time and money optimizing their game.     Симулятор танцев с бубнами. Ни одной лицухи от рокстар больше не будет на моем компе. Настолько обосраться с запуском ААА игры не получалось еще ни у одной компании.

    Boring storyline, its an endless boring conversation. repelling missions, controls cluncky, very slow walk, weapon tab does collide when moving mouse. riding in missions and not being able to skip the endless boring talks, is the most boring thing in this game. playing for 7hrs...5 min action. Missions are too restricted, i once told my horse to flee by accident. When i try to get it backBoring storyline, its an endless boring conversation. repelling missions, controls cluncky, very slow walk, weapon tab does collide when moving mouse. riding in missions and not being able to skip the endless boring talks, is the most boring thing in this game. playing for 7hrs...5 min action. Missions are too restricted, i once told my horse to flee by accident. When i try to get it back i failed the mission. I´m really disappointed of this. It feels like your character is moving in butter. shooting feels odd. dont buy if you want action!

    It's a shame, I can't open the game, the launcher closes more than 24 hours and Rockstar doesn't even give a satisfaction to its customers.

    Хорошая игра с ужасной оптимизацией , я понимаю что у меня слабый пк на даный момент , так как 1050 ti счас почти не актуальна , но все игры нормально запускались без каких либо проблем с играбельным фрейм рейтом и нормальной графикой . То что я вчера запустил вызвало у меня только разочарование , почему PS4 у которой довольно старое железо выдает стабильные 30 фпс и красивую картинку?Хорошая игра с ужасной оптимизацией , я понимаю что у меня слабый пк на даный момент , так как 1050 ti счас почти не актуальна , но все игры нормально запускались без каких либо проблем с играбельным фрейм рейтом и нормальной графикой . But what isn't great is that this game was releases in such a broken state which makes one think if Rockstar was actually ready release it or if Greed2 pushed them so more people would play RDO and spend money there.     I don't know why people can't launch the game. I pre ordered on rockstar launcher. It took a few minutes to encrypt. It got stuck once I had to restart but after that it started right up. I downloaded the Nvidia driver also before I started. I have a 1080ti with a 3440x1440 monitor. I play with a mix of high to mostly medium setting with a should 60 fps and the game looks gorgeous self noI don't know why people can't launch the game. I pre ordered on rockstar launcher.     Poor optimization with good hardware, it was a real downer that this game came out in the state that it did, it is a good game if you can play it, this feels like a fallout 76 launch scenario, will be sticking to GTA 5 online until it is fixed, sorry but this aint it cheif

    Had to create an account just to make this review. I have a 1070 and Ryzen 2700, 16GB of 3000Mhz RAM.

    The game is a flippin' mess. Can hardly get 60 FPS at 1080p on low-medium settings. There is also an issue with textures rendering incredibly poorly, even when they're set to ultra (it looks like an N64 game).     Couldn't wait to play the game after work on release day only to get an error game unexpectedly stopped working error. Tried all suggestions, updated drivers, windows, changed resolution, ran as admin, still cant play a game i payed $60 for. Shame on you Rockstar - all trust has been broken. DO NOT BUY THIS GAME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    I buy PC utimate edition only because I respect ROCKSTAR and games they made (Also I did buy it on console).

    Rockstar конечно облажались, но все же они не Bethesda... Они смогут довести игру до играбельного состояния. Разница между PS и PC у GTA 5 была 2 года, а с RDR2 прошел год. Я знаю , что они смогут залепить все дыры, т.к. это Рокстары!

    The BIOS was rolled back from AGESA 1.0.0.3 ABBA to AGESA 1.0.0.2 and the game started up. Yes, how! With medium-high settings of 45-64 fps in an open location. The image is simply gorgeous. Specification - CPU 2600, 16 RAM, 1060 graphics card.

    RDR 2 is possibly one of the worst optimized games I've ever seen.

    An Xbox One X has a GPU that is roughly on par with an overclocked AMD RX580 and it can run the game at native 4K (3840x2160) at an almost rocks solid 30FPS. An Nvidia RTX 2080Ti is is generally 144-173% faster than an AMD RX580 in open world games with high simulation complexity (such as GTA V and The Witcher III),    RDR 2 is possibly one of the worst optimized games I've ever seen.

    Which means that even if we are just counting with 100% faster performance instead of 144-173% (so we are very conservative), the game should run at a locked 60 FPS on equivalent to console settings (with maybe some slight dips to 58-59).

    If we are not that conservative though and if were are counting with 144-173% performance scaling, the game should run between 73 and 81 FPS, with maybe slight dips to 69-70 FPS.

    But instead, it runs roughly at 40-45 FPS and can dip even down to 28 FPS.

    it horrible, because with with i5 7500, gtx1060 and 16gb i had 20 fps. Trying to fixed it I updated nvidia drivers, and now i have another problem - i even can`t run a game!!! unexpected error with exit rockstar launcher.

    Very well optimized, beautiful game! I7-2600K, Nvidia GTX Titan X (Maxwell), 16GB DDR3 RAM and I run this game at 1080P 70-90FPS avg with a mix of med-high-ultra settings. Looks gorgeous. There's some issues here and there like keybinds and minor annoyances in game design like missions linearity, but worth the price of admission, I'd say.

    My biggest warning to anyone considering purchasing RDR2 on PC is that you need to have patience when you set it up. Take the time to go through each graphics option, compare your performance on Vulkan vs. DirectX 12, and tailor the game to your specs. Once you have the game tuned, there’s no better way to experience it than on PC.
