    i bought the special digital edition on ps4 at first time.and now i still in chapter 2.it is a game,gameplay is the most important thing but it is really boring and make me tired.

    Aweful PC port. Cannot progress further into the story. Submitted a support ticket for this issue and was given no help. Terrible port Rockstar. Many issues.

    Game worked for exactly 4 hours on the first day, then Rockstar out out patches to the game itself and the launcher and I havent been able to launch the game since. I tried every suggestion Rockstar support gave us and nothing works, I also tried many other troubleshooting attempts on my own to no avail. I tried turning off antivirus, updating windows, updating my drivers, uninstalling andGame worked for exactly 4 hours on the first day, then Rockstar out out patches to the game itself and the launcher and I havent been able to launch the game since. I tried every suggestion Rockstar support gave us and nothing works, I also tried many other troubleshooting attempts on my own to no avail. I tried turning off antivirus, updating windows, updating my drivers, uninstalling and reinstalling both the game and launcher multiple times, I tried flashing my BIOS and a bunch of other things. The really horrible part about this is that I dont really care at this point if Rockstar even fixes it eventually because I dont want the game any longer, they have lost my business going forward at this point, unfortunately Epic Games has denied my refund request because they say I played over 2 hours that first 1/2 day that it actually worked. So I am out 80 bucks and have a completely broken unplayable game! This is by far the worst game launch Ive seen in my 20+ years of PC gaming. I have reported Rockstar and Epic games to the FTC (Federal Trade Commission) and I highly suggest you all do the same if you're game is broken and you are also unable to get your money back. Rockstar should be absolutely embarrassed and ashamed of themselves.....even though they aren't. The fact that they have been almost radio silent and are only posting impersonal BS tweets from Rockstar Support that say "they are working on it" tells me that they knew the game wasn't going to work on many PC's and just planned on releasing it anyway and riding out the storm in silence.     Best in the industry verified this game is not compatible with most Intel processors. Likely will not be fixed and Rockstar will not acknowledge the processor issues publicly, almost a full week after launch.

    For everyone having stutter in Read Dead Redemption 2. Limit your framerate to 60 frames using riva turner then you'll have a smooth experience. My extra tip is look how much of your graphics card percentage are being used, if it's being used below 85% percent increase the resolution instead of putting everything on ultra for a more crisp image quality and if you don't know how to do itFor everyone having stutter in Read Dead Redemption 2.     Ridículo a quantidade de bugs. Meu jogo rodava dando um monte de freezadas mas agora nem abrir quer mais. O launcher da Rockstar é horrível, tive que pedir reembolso....devia ter continuado a jogar no ps4 mesmo, triste isso.

    Please dont bomb the game. I know the start up issues. But they will fix it. Everyone does mistakes. And the game look way better in medium settings 4k res than the consoles. The ultra setting, how i see it is future proff. They easily could downgrade the settings. But they didnt do that. They give us lots of settings so that we can manage it as we want. I spent over 200$ to upgrade my pc to the recommended specifications and I am met with severe cpu spiking and constant freezes that make the game unplayable.     Being patronized by Rockstar to "update my drivers" was a bad move. I feel a strong presence of corporate interference with this launch. I get the impression from take two that they struck a deal with gpu companies (nvidia, amd) to coerce more players into buying high end gpu's. I'm angry that I spent money on recommended (which in my mind means 60fps at med-high settings) hardware that turns out to be subpar even on some of the lowest settings. The game runs even worse at lower settings.

    There needs to be some type of recourse for these publishers that pressure developers into pushing out subpar product. I for one will never preorder another Rockstar title after this disappointment.

    I built a pc based off the prediction of this release 2 years ago, and for this to fail as hard as it is and to be given a patronizing response over obvious greed is a real bummer.

    Yes, this game have issues - not booting on some configurations, stuttering when running on CPUs without HT. I am sure this will be fixed in time. But other than that, game provides tons of future proof graphical settings to tinker with, and when properly configured runs quite well even on older cards like rx580.

    Despite looking at game start problems this is very good game. Characters, story, world, graphics, physics - all at the very hight level. This game contains a good balance between realism, such as feeding a horse, cleaning weapons and many other things. This things is a really well designed. My very big respest to Rockstar games making this game.

    Plays best on PC had none of the issues people seem to be having, had 3 updates since release runs amazing on my 9900k+2080ti build definitely recommend this game easy 10/10 must buy!!!!

    After disabling antivirus and running as administrator the game at least started finally. Just to crash constantly at different points of introduction' even on low settings. It is a shame really.

    I updated the score from 3 to 5 because after upgrading my i5 to i7, all problems with freezing and stuttering disappeared. Considering graphical problems with i5 processor were occuring on any graphic setting, including low-end, this is still extremely bad optimization and no way to handle release of AAA game for full price.     Неиграбельно. Первые 3 дня я просто не мог её запустить. Помогло лишь обновление БИОСа, вышедшего 7 (SIC!) ноября. Сейчас же постоянные вылеты. Рефанд.

    Rockstar, ну вы что расстраиваете дядю Петю!!! Комп за 2000$ в России это дорого, богато и 60 FPS не на всем высоком в 2к на 4к телевизоре это не очень. И надо что-то вам предпринять в плане FPS, чтобы у Максима на 1050ti тоже хоть как-то работало, а то он вашу игру покупать не хочет!!!     Was able to play the game despite really bad fps and stutter issues but ever since they started patching, I've been stuck in infinite loading screens followed by error messages.

    $60 for a headache and a slideshow

    The game is beautiful but very rough launch, runs better on Vulkan with AMD cards at the moment.
    On my RX Vega 64 I'm on high/ultra settings with an average of 60FPS. Some bugs, but mostly stable.

    Все работало ровно до того момента как я не полез в настройки графики. Как только вы захотите улучшить графику вы не увидите ее вовсе потому что игра нормально работать не будет. Стоило мне сменить Vulkan на Direct X 12 и все , она не запускается в принципе . Я нашел решение данной проблемы , но почему я должен танцевать с бубном и ковыряться в файлах игры за которую я заплатил неВсе работало ровно до того момента как я не полез в настройки графики.     I´m very disappointed. It´s a shame that such a great game has such terrible optimization on PC. You need NASA computer to play on ultra settings. Stuttering every few seconds. Bugs, lags, low fps. I would not expect such a bad optimization from Rockstar Games.

    Playing on ultra settings with my GTX 1070 TI, no problems at all. On the first day launch the only problem I had was my screen resolution doesn't match the game which was hard to find the settings to fix it. Honestly people who rate the game poorly either have a terrible rig or just following the hate bandwagon.

    Incredibly good game. Story, characters, graphics and animations are stunning. Game of the year! It took 1 year to get the RDD2 to PC, but waiting paid off. :)
    I have no problems with game at all. The game run fine from day one.

    I loaded the game as soon as it downloaded, went straight into settings and cranked everything up to ultra, the game noted that I had to restart in order for some settings to apply. I closed the game willingly and thought yea easy just open it again.

Yea nah it closes with the    I loaded the game as soon as it downloaded, went straight into settings and cranked everything up to ultra, the game noted that I had to restart in order for some settings to apply. I closed the game willingly and thought yea easy just open it again.

    I downloaded this game 3 times in the past 2 days thinking it opened the first time so it should be fine. Yea nah it closes with the same garbage message "unexpectedly closed". Hasn't worked since. Avoid this "enhanced for PC" version till they fix it. Also, some are saying "it runs smoothly after the patch with 30-50fps stable" ?????     A couple of hours into multiplayer, I had a little fun messing around with a buddy, but about every 15-20 minutes I'm getting disconnected from the server. The worst thing about the game for me at the moment, though, is constant freezes (In single player and multiplayer). Freezes happen once every minute or two and last 5-15 seconds. It's so frustrating it's not even playable. I have a nice rig, but I'm running everything on the lowest graphical settings just to try to stop freezes. I've followed every suggestion Rockstar has put up on their website to no avail.

    Really wish I had my $60 back. Rockstar has lost all goodwill it has built up with me over the years. They're just another declining video game company not interested in their fanbase and trying to cash out as much as possible. Sad.    … Expand

    It's buggy as hell. Map with broken scale of objects on it. Captions disappearing now and then. Crashing now and then. Load your savegame and get black screen? - easy. And so on. Rockstar just spits in faces of their customers. Well, and least the game launches, so I give it 1/10.

    Very poor optimization, many crashes seemingly without cause, extremely long loading times(10+ minutes sometimes) on a rig with an overclocked i7-6600K, 1080Ti. Very poor execution on the quality assurance part. As in I'm not very sure they even tested it seeming as it crashes so often and does not run much better than my ps4 from 2014.

    Interestingly it runs better than I expected on my machine, RX 560 everything is on medium settings and it is smooth enough for me (around 30 FPS, quite stable).

This is the most garbage game performance I have ever seen (and I've got all the Bethesda ones). У меня всё идеально, никаких просадок после первого патча, с запуском проблем не было, FPS 60+ стабильно высокие-ультра настройки на 2070S.     Call yourself the pc master race.. sheeeet you cant even solve a few launch issues, yeah i had the failure to start issue but i have an iq over 90 and sorted it in a few web pages.!
    And wow.. this game graphics wise it top tier so yeah it needs a lot of power, so ditch your 1060`s or quit the moaning. Release day, I was in the group of peoples that cannot start a game on day 1 even after using lots of guides from the yt. then comes the second day when the second - different error appeared. I didn't have the will to do something about it. But today after 3 days from release day I Could finally play game that I was awaiting. And you know what? I didn't liked it... It starts with boring snow map, quests are slow, controls aren't bad, but they don't good either. Critics were calling the graphic is out of this world and I just can't see that. I'm not playing it on ultra but on high and in this snowy theme I just can't see this. After 3 h of playing, I turned it off bored and exhausted. I will come back, I want to give this game a second chance, but I have to recover from everything that happened.… Expand

There are way too many ridiculous bugs menus take WAY too long to load and I had to restart several times because the game KEEPS CRASHING and I KEEP LOOSING MY PROGRESS. I am NEVER BUYING A SINGLE GAME THAT STANDS WITH EPIC OR ROCKSTAR EVER AGAIN!!!!!!!!     This port is so broken I can't recommend buying it. I can barely get 60 fps on medium with a GTX 1080ti and 8700k @ 4.9 GHz. Some people can't even get passed the launcher. It's broken for some and possibly poorly optimized. Time will tell.

The game crush all the time. I download all new drivers, delete antivirus and thank God the game started (not for long). i play 4 hours. in this 4 hours that i played in the game most part of time I figured out the graphics settings. This game is poorly optimized ( AMD Radeon R9 280) on a low or medium settings ( doesen`t matter) have 20-25 FPS. So, i play 4 hours and the game crushed again. I check everything. New drivers, no any antivirus. And I still can’t sort out with it. I very dissapointed ( sorry for my english).… Expand

    Runs really well on my computer, over 60fps on high-ultra settings at 1440p with gtx2070 and i7-6700k. Game is beautiful, new way that stranger interactions happen feel more authentic than red dead redemption 1. Controls for pc feel a little clunky with regards to the inventory and inventory management.

    Had to update to the latest Windows and Nvidia just to get it to run. When it runs I can only play it in windowed mode. It is terrible unoptimized, crashes frequently, and kicks me from online frequently as well, making me lose progress, I did not receive any of my ultimate edition bonuses as well. They need a day one patch asap!

    rockstar does not need to come up with crutches, give us a game for the full price. You are mocking us, what kind of babble is turning off the ativirus, are you out of your mind, is your game a virus or something? Rockstar screwed up once again and does not want to admit his mistakes, but gives us some ridiculous decisions based on disabling antivirus and updating drivers. Rockstar you bottom!

    An absorbing tale that will test your machine and tear ducts. A game that did not suffer from being brought to PC. RDR2 is worth overcoming all the shortcomings, since it is one of the best games of the decade. [Issue#300]

    My biggest warning to anyone considering purchasing RDR2 on PC is that you need to have patience when you set it up. Take the time to go through each graphics option, compare your performance on Vulkan vs. DirectX 12, and tailor the game to your specs. Once you have the game tuned, there’s no better way to experience it than on PC.
