Mar 28, 2016All in all Automatron is a good bite of DLC, not a huge sandwich like we're used to seeing from Bethesda and not out of the norm for the current DLC market. But like a lot of good bites, it leaves us wanting more.

Apr 4, 2016Just be warned you’ll see all there is to see in a couple of evening’s entertainment, but it's a enjoyable enough way to keep Fallout 4 fresh until the meatier Far Harbor arrives.
-
Mar 24, 2016Fallout 4 is set to have a ton of great DLC, and Automatron is a good, if not perfect start. Building your own robot is fun, and leads to tons of hours of scavenging and collecting. The quest is also much longer than expected, though it does begin to feel stale after a while. Overall, this is a good start to what could become a great suite of DLC.
-
Apr 12, 2016Automatron, the first Fallout 4 DLC, focuses on robot companion customization, and really achieves a good result there. Nevertheless, the story is very short and, in spite of a really intriguing beginning, the ending feels extremely abrupt. However, this content pack is still a really enjoyable one and can provide, without any doubt, a few hours of fun.
-
Apr 4, 2016The first DLC for Fallout 4 has some good and interesting ideas, but is bad engame content. The main quest is too short and the option to create your own robot army won't be involving for those who already finished the game.
-
Mar 24, 2016Functional, yet prosaic. Constructing robots is a highlight, but Automatron's quest is short and unremarkable.
-
CD-ActionJun 29, 2016Creating your own robots is cool, but pointless due to their terrible AI. Why invest a fortune in upgrades if your dumb metal buddy will probably get stuck on a first rock he encounters? [06/2016, p.55]
