in addition the mechanist has a similar message to our protagonist if he sides with the institute to the comonwealth which makes you think a bit about just how misguided your good intentions are as well.

so ye i definitely enjoyed it.

Automatron DLC is good for the price, the $10 for the DLC is worth it if you have the money to spare. Other than that I would say it is average. I do not think it is a bad DLC at all it fits that content requirement of the price that it is at. It adds an extra challenge to the game making it more rewarding. So you may be wondering does it fit that aspect of the intended content? the answer to that is a strong yes. The Robot building is rewarding and very much appreciated and fun at the same time. This DLC builds on the fact that everything is needed, nothing is really "junk" at all, everything has it's use. And even stealth characters can benefit from this DLC you can equip your robots with a stealth blade and a stealth module like the power armor, effectively making your robot invisible and making you sneak better. Other than this the content is great the story is average so that is why I am giving this an eight. Expand

Creating your own robots is cool, but pointless due to their terrible AI. Why invest a fortune in upgrades if your dumb metal buddy will probably get stuck on a first rock he encounters? [06/2016, p.55]

Automatron, the first Fallout 4 DLC, focuses on robot companion customization, and really achieves a good result there. Nevertheless, the story is very short and, in spite of a really intriguing beginning, the ending feels extremely abrupt. However, this content pack is still a really enjoyable one and can provide, without any doubt, a few hours of fun.

Fallout 4: Automatron could have been a brilliant part of a bigger DLC package, but just like it is now is simply not worth your money. The changeable robots are cool, but the missions are way too short and not memorable at all.
