    The complexities of combat makes this a super fun game worth sinking hundreds of hours into. it's very rewarding to master all of the weapons and how to fight all types of demons strategically.

    Fantastic game. A little disappointed there isn't an achievement for completing campaign on a harder difficulty. Guess I wasted some time and frustration on a higher difficulty that didn't have a payoff. Oh well.

    If you like 'classic' FPS's, this is one of the best modern recreations of the feel and energy of those games while taking advantage of modern styles and technology.

    This is the best FPS I have ever played. After playing this everything else feels slow, frustrating, and not adrenaline pounding enough. I would recommend this game to anyone. This is absolutely my favorite game. ID out did themselves.

    Doom Eternal and The Ancient Gods might be the best single player FPS I've ever played. It is a cross between classic Quake/Quake 3 deathmatch and Bayonetta/Devil May Cry.

    Intense action where every battle is also a bit of a puzzle? Doom Eternal is great, absolutely. It's faster better and harder than Doom 2016. It is also lot more difficult. I consider myself good at shooters, but this one is devilishly hard and I have no idea how anyone could beat this at nightmare or even the 2nd highest difficulty.     The gold standard for fast-paced action FPS. Every weapon, mod, equipment piece, and ability has some key purpose in the combat loop. Once you learn the way the game wants you to play, you can get creative with your own play-style within that.     Doom eternal takes everything from doom (2016) and expands on it and makes it better the music weapons story are all so good and it has a lot more to do than doom (2016) like exploration,challenges (like slayer gates).

    There is a bit of a disconnect between the speed of the game and how many options you have at any given point, especially as the game progresses.     The best way I could describe this game is that it is pure testosterone fueled mayhem. The music is great, the gameplay is great, and the graphics are great. You actually start to feel sorry for the demons in the game as you rip and tear your way through everything. 10/10 would play again.

    Brilliant, fast paced and pure FPS. I have been playing doom since around 1996. I play through Ultimate and Doom 2 yearly and this game easily scratches the same itch.

    This is my favorite game! The gameplay is fast paced and have a lot of emphasis on movement. All enemies and weapons are very well designed and fits into the combat loop nicely. You need to have good situational awareness and plan your attack within a few seconds of entering an arena, and good ammo management is very important or else you will be running out of ammo a lot.     This game is a MUST have:
    1: Graphics are AMAZING I have never seen a more detailed, crisp and dark enviorment like this before.
    2: It´s optimised as hell I have a mid tier PC and this game runs at 1440p, max settings with constantly 144fps
    3: Story hella great
    4: Pacing: EXCELENT pacing, with intense battles and a great story
    5: Glory kills: Do I even have to say something?

    This is what a quality game is. This is without a doubt my favorite game. I've bought this game in its entirety 2 times and have played the campaign at least 5 times since its release. There is not a single thing i dislike about this game, it can present a real challenge at times.

    This is the best dang DOOM you are going to find. The combat whips ass, and so does everything else. The lore is enormously stupid but in the way that the liner notes to a prog metal album are enormously stupid, which is to say it fun and rules. If this game were a person I would marry them immediately.

It takes the best parts of 2016, amps all of it up, and tosses in various new mechanics resulting in a game that is so exhilarating, fast paced, and gruesome that you just can't look away. All of the controls are tight, the game runs well, that incredible soundtrack is back...

    I struggle to find anything to take issue with. After a decent learning curve, de-programming previous DOOM muscle memory and play styles, you get into such a flow of ripping and tearing. It's satisfying and thrilling.

    This is what video games should be. Fast, precise, wide array of gameplay, tactics if you want; a good story thats makes sense for the overall pacing and has very interesting lore thats told through the environment n such. Ambient audio, etc. They put heart into it - its fun. Truly fun.

Very very very rarely drop frames outside of Super Gore Nest even with most settings on Ultra-Nightmare and in the year and a bit that I've been playing it on and off its never crashed on me.     You know how people tell you to "GIT GUD" when you're struggling with games? This game teaches to you GIT GUD rather quickly. A violent, gore-filled love letter to FPS gamers everywhere, DOOM Eternal will have you reinstalling it months later to relive the glory kills, chainsaw more Imps, and BFG your way to hell (and heaven) and back.

    Currently playing through the DLC and getting my butt kicked.

    The full experience is worth playing, and multiple game modes encourage replaying the campaign in different ways.

    Doom Eternal is the best FPS, no, the best game I have ever played. It's an intense experience that definitely isn't for everyone, but no game can please every demographic, and Eternal did an excellent job at pleasing the ones who enjoy chaotic and fierce encounters.

    Most fun I've ever had in a singleplayer game I think. I haven't even played another Doom game, but maybe it's because of how much time I've spent in other competitive shooters that a game like this is so enjoyable for me. It's the only shooter game I know to be this difficult, with mechanics this crisp, without being played against other players.

    DOOM Eternal what a great game, I played DOOM when it came out on floppy disc on a Dos computer. The game is fast play and great graphics. The down side of the game is you can't save the game unless you are at only certain parts of the game, if you want to stop the game will take you back to the last check point not where you stopped. You should save the game where you want stop and comeDOOM Eternal what a great game, I played DOOM when it came out on floppy disc on a Dos computer. The game is fast play and great graphics. The down side of the game is you can't save the game unless you are at only certain parts of the game, if you want to stop the game will take you back to the last check point not where you stopped. You should save the game where you want stop and come back later and pick up right where you left off and not just at check points of the game.… Expand

    Jsem rád, že jsem hrál hru na Bethesda Launcheru, protože se zde nepíše playtime. Do této hry jsem se tak trochu zamiloval, pořídil jsem si sběratelskou edici, podložku pod myš, kachničky do vany, klíčenky, sběratelské figurky, nechávám si vytvořit sochu ze 3D tisku, mám herní tričko, keramické podtácky a hru dohranou na Ultra Nightmare, dohrané DLC a jediné co nemám a co mě dokážeJsem rád, že jsem hrál hru na Bethesda Launcheru, protože se zde nepíše playtime.     First and foremost this game is an absolute blast to play. Featuring high octane game play, beautiful environments, tons of enemy variety, weapon variety, incredible music, etc. This is a premium gaming experience at it's core. This game is worth every penny due to the games replay ability.

    Its DOOM its ETERNAL, its DOOM ETERNAL. Fantastic game like almost perfect. Its so good it kinda ruined other Shooters for me, playing DOOM Eternal and then Halo, CoD or even DOOM16 makes them feel boring. Every weapon feels punchy and has worth in combat, the combat itself is fast and gets the blood pumping. The violence is absolutely beautiful to watch and inflict upon the Demons,Its DOOM its ETERNAL, its DOOM ETERNAL. Fantastic game like almost perfect. Its so good it kinda ruined other Shooters for me, playing DOOM Eternal and then Halo, CoD or even DOOM16 makes them feel boring. Every weapon feels punchy and has worth in combat, the combat itself is fast and gets the blood pumping. The violence is absolutely beautiful to watch and inflict upon the Demons, Chainsaw kills have been integrated as a way to get Ammo which also works really well. The music too is amazing, Mick Gordon did an amazing job and this is definetly his best work so far, which makes it incredibly sad to see him leave the DOOM franchise.… Expand

    Doom Eternal has to go right up there in the top 3. Literally nothing comes close in terms of the adrenaline and rush of these fights and this DLC notches it up to 11. Amazing job from ID, you guys absolutely killed it and have made, in my opinion, the most fun gaming experience possible. Do yourself a favour and download this!

    If you're looking for a deep and thought-provoking gaming experience that changes your outlook on life, look elsewhere. However, if you want a fast-paced, visceral shooter full of non-stop action and outrageous violence, you can't do better than Doom Eternal. If you liked 2016's offering you will love this follow up. It's a hell of a good time.

    Like Jason Statham’s character in Crank, Doom Eternal needs adrenaline every waking second. So long as you drown hordes of demons in their own blood, it feels like a perfect GOTY contender, but during quiet moments, Doom Eternal withers and forces you to ponder unpleasant questions. id Software needs to course-correct, otherwise we’ll be playing Super Doom Slayer’s Bros in a few years.
