    Прошел всю игру, но вот относительно ожиданий и относительно Doom (2016) больше все-таки разочарован. Да, графика шикарная, да, хорошая оптимизация/fps, но:
    1. Страшно переборщили с впихиванием похоже всех механик, которые только придумали - в итоге вместо шутера получается какая-то real-time стреляющая стратега с постоянным задействованием кучи не стреляющих/отвлекающих механик -    Прошел всю игру, но вот относительно ожиданий и относительно Doom (2016) больше все-таки разочарован. Да, графика шикарная, да, хорошая оптимизация/fps, но:
    1. Страшно переборщили с впихиванием похоже всех механик, которые только придумали - в итоге вместо шутера получается какая-то real-time стреляющая стратега с постоянным задействованием кучи не стреляющих/отвлекающих механик - добывание боеприпасов бензопилой, здоровья рукопашной, брони огнем, и т.п. + все это надо постоянно помнить и использовать (может кроме брони)
    2. Очень аркадное изображения всего - цветастые боеприпасы, мигающие разноцветными огнями монстры - вообщем какой-то супер марио, а не брутальный Doom
    3. Перебор с платформер-механиками - просто как кузнечик прыгаешь пол игры. Опять просто супер-марио, а не Doom.
    4. Бои - месиво, на экране каша - очень много монстров со всех сторон, в итоге все время бегаешь как сумасшедший. Не сконцентрироваться нормально на каком-то поединке хотя бы даже с группой монстров, все равно сзади кто-нибудь по мелкому или крупному мочит - уровни специально так сделаны как мультиплейерные.
    5. Еще раз - для шутера - переборщили со всем, что мешает наслаждаться боем - лутом боеприпасов, и здоровья (отвлекающим от боя), платформер прыжками, аркадным оформлением, кашей на экране от количества монстров и т.п.
    В итоге дополнение Ancient Gods покупать не буду.    … Expand

    The gameplay is fast, requires you to be aggressive and to use all the tools the game gives you to survive. I was afraid that all the new weapons and gadgets would make the game too easy when compared to Doom 2016 but that is not the case. This game is obscene amounts of fun.

    Arguably the best game mechanics of all time. 10/10. Very rarely a few bugs pop up which is annoying on UN. Other than that Hugo is dad.

    In terms of game play loops, this is the best single person shooter I have ever played. There's just something about riding a flaming meat hook toward a demon to brush their teeth with a double-barrel shotgun that makes me come back for more. If you like shooters at all, this game is a must.

    Incredibly fun and huge replay value when it comes to figuring out new moves, combos, and other mechanics. Enjoyed the movement mechanics and the huge trial and error moments I faced during the game. You can't just go in making dumb decisions, you have to mentally plan it out and know what you're doing and execute it well. Very enjoyable!

    This game is absurdly good. I only played on Nightmare mode (the most challenging) and it was frustrating at first but when you learn the rhythm of combat and unlock the full arsenal this a a true masterclass in First-Person-Shooters. Never have I felt like such a God in game while also having my heart race. Cannot recommend this enough. Play on easy difficulties for some mindless fun orThis game is absurdly good.     You're on speed the whole time and try to play Through fire and Flames on an out of tune Broomstick.

    Challenging but fun game, tests reflexes and tests your skill. Fun to play, but not too easy, you can toy around with weapons, codes, Armour, almost everything, it feels fresh. So many challenges and fun things to do in this game, I really like it a lot. The story is amazing, the multiplayer is pretty good and the overall game play is just astonishing.

    Absolutely loved every second of this insane joy ride of a murder fest this game is. I had a very hard time putting this game down when i started played. The music constantly keeps you in tune with every shot you fire. If you haven't played this game yet then something is definitely wrong with you.

    This is hands down the best game I have ever played. I have no complaints. I love fast paced, I love high precision fps GAMING, and I love deep combat systems to explore and grow on. I recommend this to anyone who is a hard fan of the FPS genre, and if you love faster paced games as well.

    The real meat and potatoes of the game. All missions are great, combat is immaculate and very skill based. The difficulty increase since DOOM 2016 is a big one, but it's doable. As another reviewer once said, it's a fast-paced blood-fueled game of chess. You will constantly need to monitor your health, armor and ammo. Very rewarding combat, spectacular arena design, and superb graphics. 10/10

    This game definitely gives the Doom series a flair of its own - the light resource management combined with the relatively demanding gameplay distinguish Doom Eternal from other shooters in the market. The gameplay is crisp, and the engine is very well optimized. ID really is trying to set a new bar for smooth FPS gameplay and it shows.

Mastering Eternal is an experience like no other. The level design is fantastic, the gunplay is even better, and the new challenges you get make it all the more satisfying when you beat the final boss.

    The difficulty is much higher in this game, as you have much less ammo, enemies hit you like a truck, and there are a lot of new enemies to keep track of. If you're new to Doom/Shooters in general, I recommend setting the difficulty on Hurt Me Plenty. (I beat it on Nightmare on my first playthrough cuz I'm just that good)

    The Movement is a gift from god. You got double jump instantly, dashes, climbing, swinging on monke bars, the Meat-Hook, ect. It feels so good to zip through the map while blasting demons to dust.

    The only thing I can criticize is that the final boss's first phase is kinda annoying, and that's about it. The game reviews who said this game wasn't as good as 2016 just didn't care enough to try and get better. This is one of the best games I've ever played, and will continue playing in the future. There is so much to this game that makes it great that I haven't even talked about. Just get the game

    I am really impressed by how good this game is. It is worth of all the praised its received, and they have a killer formula to move forward with. The battles are intense and exciting; I was constantly on the edge of my seat. Even better than Doom 2016, which I thought was great at the time.

    This game reprogrammed my brain to the point where I can no longer play any shooter that expects me to stand still for more than five seconds. There is so much verticality, so much polish, so much fun with the game in the GAME. This game is a masterpiece, end of discussion.

    One of the best game I have ever played. The combat is skill based and satisfying, and the flow of the combat is incredibly good. DOOM Eternal is a refreshing break from all the modern fps games that are all just more of the same. The music is fantastic and easily the best of any game I've ever played. I would recommend DOOM Eternal to anyone who plays video games, and even some people that don't.

    These addons for DOOM are HARD AF! Definitely play the first campaign on harder levels before even attempting this! If you are up for a challenge, though... this right here is LEGIT. It's very fast paced and will get you holding your breath at tense moments and your heart rate up. I can't even play this game unless I am well rested! Definitely worth it across the board.

    I love this game. Just one to gush about this. Shooting demons in the game is soo fun. The ping sound of popping weak points is soo satisfying :)

    Okay this game is a masterpiece! Level variety on point, graphics are amazing, game runs smooth and gameplay is almost perfect.

    As I'm reaching 300 hrs played after a year with the game, I think I can comfortably say this is my favorite game of all time. Everything is this game is so finely tuned to give you the best FPS experience you've ever had. The movement is this game is phenomenal and advanced movement tech makes you really feel like an unstoppable being for pure DOOM. Game also has a great community withAs I'm reaching 300 hrs played after a year with the game, I think I can comfortably say this is my favorite game of all time. Everything is this game is so finely tuned to give you the best FPS experience you've ever had.     I wasn't a fan of the previous Doom game but this one is surprised me how fun it was.

    Truly the renaissance of a franchise. DOOM 2016 was the beginning, but DOOM Eternal sealed the success of the franchise with fast paced gameplay, quick reflex learning, great graphics... As a FPS gamer I had to relearn how to move, shoot and control the arena. Also the difficulty gives you a solid challenge for veteran gamers (aside from part 1... My god...).

    Very addictive gameplay! If you struggle, take your time at lower difficulty until you get into the rhythm! Have fun!

    If you're looking for a deep and thought-provoking gaming experience that changes your outlook on life, look elsewhere. However, if you want a fast-paced, visceral shooter full of non-stop action and outrageous violence, you can't do better than Doom Eternal. If you liked 2016's offering you will love this follow up. It's a hell of a good time.

    Like Jason Statham’s character in Crank, Doom Eternal needs adrenaline every waking second. So long as you drown hordes of demons in their own blood, it feels like a perfect GOTY contender, but during quiet moments, Doom Eternal withers and forces you to ponder unpleasant questions. id Software needs to course-correct, otherwise we’ll be playing Super Doom Slayer’s Bros in a few years.
