Every zone are the same, seems like an IA who did the maps.
70€ for that what a scam, and Blizzard refused to refund.

Blizzard is the type of company that will use marketing and propaganda and deceptive game design to attract consumers. Unless you actually try to understand how deeply horrible their practices are you'll go unaware and probably depressed for some mysterious reason that you can't put your finger on.

Game is a decent experience unless you want a complete game, it will always be bad so that when they release the good they'll do so with a price tag attached, by this way controlling the flow of gamers.

    Armor skins:

Blizzard "developers" stated that the armor skins you can collect for free in the game are of the same quality but the shop armor skins are much cooler, which makes them much less cool which makes literally all armor skins in the game uncool.

I suppose some people don't care about how the core game suffers because of Blizzard's intentional design in many areas this "design" is similar to the armor skins.

And if you think about this more and more you'll eventually see this NASTY practice all over the place in their games.

It didn't use to be this bad, but it is now and I don't see it changing.

Every patch they release is an insult to my intelligence, they can't patch away their greed no matter how many useless "5% more/less for this thing" patches they release.

Blizzard was promoting their Diablo Immortal game in a 20 minute "over hyped super high vibe omg this is the best" developer livestream before they were to announce season 1 features for Diablo 4. That's a nice way to insult your audience no? I remember vividly, hordes of players were screaming in agony in twitch chats.

But again, Diablo 4 has alot going for it. It's just a shame that it could have been a much better game, had much better multiplayer features(lobbies, chats - ways to play together). Could have had better less incremental idle game loot structures(Diablo 4 loot makes me miss Diablo 3 loot, and sure Diablo 4 has further longevity compared to Diablo 3 loot curve but when you hit the end it's inferior to Diablo 3).

But why talk about D4 or D3 loot when D2 loot was much better than both. D2 also had better multiplayer functionality than D4 which is very strange considering the age difference.

Not once when playing D2 did I ever get frustrated over being phased around while joining friends groups or having to study for my PhD in porting science to understand when I can port to my party members in open world.

But why make a good game when you can use a solid foundation to create cheap bait to hook players over and over again. And with this concerning how multiplayer is underdeveloped in D4, I'll assume it's on purpose because why wouldn't they.

People would just simply love D4 too much even without changes or patches or seasons if it had the qualities of D2 but grander, and the multiplayer functionality of D2 but better. Why would we even want stupid seasons or updates then? We would simply be happy the game exists and enjoy playing it.

Blizzard is a horrible, unhinged games company, and they'll go unregulated for a long time ahead and they'll evolve their horrid practices over time.

Maybe I'm wrong, but the past few years of trying to enjoy their games has only enforced my perspective. Needing copium, pretending/roleplaying that I'm not surrounded by the horrors is what I need to enjoy their games now.

This game lacks content looks like an Alfa, very few classes, repetitive dungeons, very few strengths, we do not have a hell, they left the land prepared for cobranes by DLCS, I see it coming.

And very few original ideas I do not understand how the number one company in the world makes such a mediocre game, they could strive a little more. It shows that they are closing to the benefits due to the purchase of Microsoft

The game started so well in the beta, but every patch afterwards just makes it more boring and tedious to play. The 1.1 patch is just the last straw. Hopefully this is playable in a few years.

This went from being triple A to being an indy gaming company after hitting 60. The damage isn’t tuned, and the late game is beyond awful. Blizzard is still making games worse than d2

This game is terrible. Blizzard is dead. It's not the same good Diablo from Blizzard North.
Don't support this terrible company. You will get exploited, playing their purposefully worse game just so their "engagement numbers" are up for the shareholders. Yuck! Avoid this like the plague.

Very disappointing game. Three words: boring, unfinished, shallow. This game is much worse than Diablo III. Boring gameplay. Drops and the endgame in general is just non existent. Zero build variety and no monster density at all. Tedious and boring

Dev's clearly haven't played the game themselves and have no idea what they are doing. Yet they keep pushing their **** philosophy to frame players into playing their theorycrafted **** and blame the players for not following suit. None of the community's major feedbacks have been implemented still. Ungrateful cockysuckers.

Unfortunately, this is not a good game. We were led to believe this would've been different, and that we would have been treated decently but Blizzard led us astray yet again. This game is probably the last nail in the coffin of this franchise, after the diablo immoral fiasco.

Blizzard is just ugly & arrogance to disrespect all players times & efforts , they turned down all the ATT & DEF stats & mechanisms , just for holding players back staying in the game much more longer (for their KPI or fashion micro transaction etc.) .
And , you have NO right to reject since it require login & online to play , even it is a buyout product .

Too many ridiculous examples you can search from internet , such as helltide chest / class changes / items & stats changes . They even think fixing a NPC Camal's "sound" is more important than the players .
Their response always excuses to "bugs" , but many know they are testing the baseline of players .

I played D2 D3 WOW COD , and I think this D4 maybe the last product I bought from this **** company , unless they are giving a sincerely apologizes & admit their brainless decisions all along the DEV. and management .

A lackluster and uninspired, not to say half-assed, assortment of various systems.

There are just too many aspects insufficiently thought through and half-baked or which simply have no proper purpose in this game.

Take the open world for example. What is the purpose of going from an Act-based story with distinct and closed levels, to an open world with a seamless transition from region to region? There simply is none, for the sake of fun. While it might seem it does, especially during the first few hours, the players quickly notices that the open world is just shallow in its current state with nothing to offer and no purpose to be fulfilled. World Events are the only things that could possibly justify the existence of the open world, if they weren't as boring and pointless as they are. The World Bosses are Loot Pinatas that you hit till it dies. Chances of an unsuccessful encounter are slim to nigh inexistant. Same with the Horde Event. It simply isn't suspenseful, nor difficult, nor challenging. It is just a random event you go to and absolutely meaningless. Hell Tides and Strongholds are somewhat better, but cannot compensate the lack of open world activities, with Strongholds being one-time only event with no further importance. You free them and you are done with it. No dynamics and no importance to story or world.
Furthermore, the open world is empty of any other challenges that are not tied to times events. Monster density is low. It is actually so low that you'd be wasting time at any point at which you don't just ride hard to get to the next dungeon.
Of course, Mounts and Skins are more prevalent in an Open World where one can randomly encounter other players. $$$.

Why do I stress the point of open world this much? Because Blizzard made sure to advertise it with every opportunity. And it is simply not as good as they try to make it. Its existence is not justified and Diablo 4 would have been better off being a more classic approach to how story and areas are tied together.

The Itemization lacks depth. Just like in D3, you stack Toughness and Damage as much as you can. There's barely any utility modifiers on items. It is a GearCheck game where your brain is simply not needed beyond thinking up a build (which the aren't many viable ones) or picking one from the dozen websites that offer 'the best farming build'. If you try to make an unconventional build you quickly realize how these attempts will falter easily. The good old Frenzy Barb? Has no place in this game. Because Frenzy is a Generator. And Generator are simply **** by design. They are not meant to be for the purpose of critically damaging the enemy. They are meant to generate buffs, like increased Toughness, or generate Resource, to use with Core Skills. Therefore, all items will be designed around Core Skills, in one way or another. The lack of total skills, not just core skills, also adds to the fact that there's simply not enough diversity when it comes to builds.

Monster diversity is a fake. Yes, there are plenty of different enemies, but they feel the exact same way. Especially in higher levels one will not give two-****s about how to approach a new pack. You go in balls out and give it all you have, spam you Core and activate your ult and chances are high that the pack you've just encountered is dead. Skills that pixel-stack enemies also help.

    There's plenty more, like:
    - the music being generic,
    - the campaign/story being a drag, with missions/quests that are as boring as they could possibly be,
    - boring and repetitive collection of renown
    - PvP being a complete mess
    - social features consisting of utterly pathetic integrations, like the Clan feature that's just a second friendlist and nothing more, the chat being useless and already full of Gold sellers and RM traders and plenty more
    - the QoL not a priority, starting with a bag for Gems, which, as soon as you have 10 of each, you simply don't ever need to pick up again
    - scaling of monsters making leveling up and gaining "stronger" skills feel like nothing, unnoticable, whether you play on level 20 or on level 70, fights will feel the exact same and the difficulty will be indistinguishable,
    - the most boring crafting systems, barely an improvement to that of D3
    - and so much more....

The only way that people really give this an 8+ is because they haven't played this game beyond the campaign or are simply so starved of ARPGs that they don't give a crap about it.

Diablo 4 is the absolute minimum that could have been done, but it is praised by critics as the "holy grail of ARPG".

4/10, but giving it a 0/10 because of all the casuals that give it a 10 without even experiencing the endgame.

While the future of the game is anyone’s guess, at present Diablo IV is a solid, but strangely unambitious take that fails to bring much new to the table. By the end of my travels, I was more than willing to put it down and take a break — somewhere amongst all the grinding, Diablo IV had unfortunately ground me down as well.
