    The game way to buggy for online some how I lost my character after beating all of Tristram. Randomly my friends and me would get kicked out of the lobbies. There were some other instances of running into a unkillable mobs the game is almost as bad warcraft 3 reforged.

    Cosmetic added to characters are disturbing. The game won't launch at release, while the beta was running smoothly. Worst launch i've experienced so far in my gaming life for more than 28 years.

    DO NOT BUY Diablo2 resurrected. Pre ordered and played beta fine. But Blizzard changed the requirements and programming logic AFTER beta test. As a result after the release game still not starting on my PC. 4000+ posts on blizzard support forum (thousand of players suffering with the issue confirmed by the developers). Poor R&D and Quality control for the company with such size.

    Looks like it would be fun, if the game would actually launch. Sadly, devs decided to change the system requirements post-beta. But it was an accident. Or not. Yes, definitely unintentional, but also these are the requirements, so it's players' fault somehow. They can't even settle on one narrative. Pretty bad launch, but not a surprise for the washed up company that used to be Blizzard.

Earning billions of profit the company deliberately does not hire Q&A engineers to release decent version of workable product.

    But they won't fix this issue. Refund that money and never give it back. They dropped the ball for all of us fans, and when it comes to new fans they dropped the ball on them too as I'm seeing so many issues with other platforms that it was released on. Server errors galore!

    Wait in queue for 45 minutes and my characters are gone. Tons of crashes, queues every single day, server outages every single day. This game has absolutely no polish and is just a cash grab.

I now remember some of the aspects of the game that were annoying, but it is faithful to what the gameplay originally was.

    However, the implementation of the game has serious flaws and bugs. A score of 0 is entirely earned. Launch day was absolutely horrendous, giving me flashbacks of D3. I could only get an hour of game play on launch day. At this point there have been two patches put out, but the game constantly crashes on my 3-year old XPS laptop. The game just crashed 10x in a row trying to load into Act V town. I've tried every possible iteration to no avail, including all difficulties, creating a game, joining a game, loading into Act V from a different Act, etc. Not being able to do Baal runs is game breaking.

    I've also had my Dell recovery BIOS scan and fix disk corruption issues after several D2 crashes yesterday. The game is clearly not ready and may even damage/corrupt your hard drive. Under normal circumstances, I'd say that is enough to qualify for a refund.

    Update: Three weeks into launch and I'm still having problems getting my characters to show up. I do not have confidence that the game will be running smoothly any time this year.

    Update: I just spent over 30 minutes looking at the login queue and still don't have access my online characters. Why was this game released? It was never ready. I realize that they are trying to fix the problems, but the game is still barely playable even weeks after launch. Launching a non-working product should be grounds for a mass-refund campaign.    … Expand

    tried open beta game was playing fine so i ordered it, little did i know that the final result wasn't up to expectations and with different specifications without even one notice.
    i know i know a patch will be released you say, its just the big disappointment. a game to become so buggy and unplayable after beta was fine.

    Worked in Beta test but Dev's added AVX requirement plus changed the minimum hardware requirements. Crashes to desktop with i7 875k, Gtx 1060 SC 6gb, 16gb sys ram. Wow so sad requires a sandybridge or newer cpu and even then many cannot overcome the AVX issue. Refund server lagging due to overload. So over rated at this point. Good luck on running it!

    They said it wasnt supposed to be in there. They said they were working on a fix. Yet other things keep getting fixed and this keeps getting put on a back burner. Many of the WoW expansions. Cyberpunk. Fallout 76. This is by far the worst and most disappointing. They managed to destroy a remaster and bone their oldest supporters. They keep banning people on twitter who even bring it up. This company no longer has any clue about what loyalty or accountability is. So if youre running a cpu thats 10 to 13 years old, dont buy it. You cant play. If you dont like companies who cater to streamers and screw their most loyal customers. Then dont buy anything blizzard related ever again. The development teams we knew and loved back in the day are long gone anyhow. This new generation of bliz devs just suck. Mind you Im not deducting points for anything other than the current state of the game and blizzards terrible response to it. If it ever gets fixed, ill be more than happy to revisit my review.     Censorship: Dialogues deleted from the original (natalya, alkor), profanity filter not optional (and it will censor words not considered as profanity), uglyfied character models, lore redcons, server instability, a ton of new bugs (Devs have no clue what they are doing!) , Dont buy! Blizzard being blizzard again.

The amazon and Assasin no longer resemble the original game nor do some of the monsters specifically the Succubus and Sabre cat/ Slinger. Im sure the longer i play the more censorship ill find. if Vicarious Visions had other plans for the design directionLied to again.     We still cant cast skills with keys... Its 2021 and the technology is still not there to cast skills with buttons. The isometric view is so garbage that its too hard to hit skillshots. There could be potential in this game, but they will abandon it as soon as they milked enough money out of it

Bots are already alive and well. The real reason they dropped TCP/IP and offline is because they're too terrified of letting go of DRM. Most of my friends dropped out. Then bought it again as 2 friends had a favorable experience and I wanted to play with them. But the Failed to authenticate bug persists, nothing works, I can't playBought it, the refunded as I never realized how many features they had removed. Was willing to go with it when I could still play. Got the Failed to authenticate bug, never saw my char again. Most of my friends dropped out. Then bought it again as 2 friends had a favorable experience and I wanted to play with them. But the Failed to authenticate bug persists, nothing works, I can't play online after trying everything. Don't make my mistake or at least until they fix some things.

    Forget relaxing and playing this game with your friends. If you go 1 hour without a crash, consider it amazing. And these crashes happen at key points most of the time, when the boss dies, when you teleport, crafting , waypoints.

    I played with friends and I'd say 1/2 the time we were communicating about lag and crashes. That's unreal. During D2 we never had that problem.

    2. Even the bad things from the old game are left as is, for example how can you not fix merc pathfinding 2021? Its just ridiculous. Not even easy to implement quality of life improvements that are now standard are implemented.

    Blizzard does not provide refunds for bugged games. My level 36 character is missing. On my ssd, the game loads it 100%. The game starts in 5 minutes. The support team is sent to the forum to resolve issues. I will certainly survive this, and the company has become a slop.

For example I waited all morning, couldn’t get on. After two hours I got on than was kicked and I can’t get back on again. This game is trash

    Generally not working. Disconnects, item rollbacks every day. The game crashes every two hours at least. UI slow and laggy. Problems persist for three weeks and nobody cares. Weekend playtime is like zero because servers are constantly down.

    Game crashes all the time and they made all the characters super ugly, not being faithful to the way the original game was. The servers are down all the time as well and there are tons of rollbacks, so a lot of the times you lose all the progress you accomplished in the last couple of hours or so...

Well, no. You gonna play it for an hour, or two, or three. Or unless the servers will be down once again. And when you eventually (in a couple of hours) log back, you will have nothing. No character, no progress, nothing. Because the servers are **** and there was a rollback and now your character is gone.

    If you want to play the game, just pirate it. I mean it. Or play the original diablo 2. Oh. wait, they removed the original game from the store. Well, time to pirate it too.    … Expand

    Game is well designed game developed by Vicarious Visions and published by Activision and it shows.
    Their servers are going down every couple of hours, rollbacks and even reports of missing characters.
    Dont waste money on this, just use Pluggy

    It honestly does not run well for me, and the servers always seem to be down. So even though because the game seems to be down all the time... even when its up not impressed. Was Blizzard's last shot with me and they blew it.

The core game is not terrible, but it's all the issues that has been happening daily. This is not something I expect from a multi-billion dollar game company. However this game, Diablo 2 Resurrected, is terrible. The core game is not terrible, but it's all the issues that has been happening daily. This is not something I expect from a multi-billion dollar game company. It's just problems after problems. For instance the past 3 days, the server would just crash and all the characters would disappear. There would be no response from the gaming team for hours, leaving many people worried they lost their hard earned progress. Then we all thought they solved the problem. However after that day, the server seem to be slower than usual. Creating games was slower and overall the game just seem a bit sluggish compared to before the crash happened. Then yesterday, the game crashed again with the same issue. Characters suddenly disappeared and no way to play the game. We all though they solved the problem when it happened the first time, but nope.

    Then just today, it happened once again a 3rd time. At this point I'm left wondering, will they ever fix the problem? It's the same exact issue, the server would crash and my characters would disappear. At this point, I'm pretty sure they're just putting on band-aids instead of actually solving the problem. And I believe this problem will be addressed by another band-aid. I also believe it will happen again tomorrow, and the day after. I don't know when they will ever solve the problem, but I do know they will bleed players.

    One of the biggest issue is the rollbacks. It doesn't happen to everyone, but it does happen to quite a lot of players, including myself. The first time it happened, my characters didn't roll back. The 2nd time, I got rolled back and lost progress and items. The 3rd time, I did not check but I could tell by the placement of my characters that I did roll back, and lost items. Now this is a big problem. It's annoying when it happened the first time, but problems happen. But when the same problem keeps happening and we keep on losing progress and items, then it's a big problem.

    It's unfortunate because this game brings back so much nostalgia and I had a blast playing, when the game actually worked. I'm still going to put up with the BS that has been happening despite losing progress and items. But I have my limits too. If the same exact issue continues to happen, that tells me Blizzard has no intention to fix the problem. It tells me they don't care about the game and the community. If this same problem persists, then I believe this game won't last much longer. I hope they start offering refunds because a lot of players are fed up.    … Expand

    Bueno yo compre este juego por q siempre he sido muy fan de esta compañía y a un cometiendo errores, pero esto de q no se pueda jugar desde el sábado con amigos después de pagar 40 euros,y para colmo niegan devoluciones nos sentimos estafados. Que hablamos de Blizzard no de una compañía Indie.yo como esta la cosa no recomiendo comprar ni este juego ni nada mas de esta gente.

    Servers are constantly lying, it is almost impossible to play. There is no trace of Blizzard's former greatness. They took a great game and ruined it with censorship and broken servers. It would seem that after the failure with Warcraft 3 Refunded, they had to come to their senses, but they did not.

    Bought the game to play with a friend for the long weekend since we both had work off, servers have been down all three mornings, got a few hours in lastnight, fun forusre, but no lobbies or chat or console make trades impossible. Not sure I'll be able to get into this. Hopefully they offer refunds, as I was expecting to get much more out of my purchase.

Я конечно всё понимаю: маленькая инди-студия, все дела.... но за этот высер сутулой собаки и возврат средств сделать нельзя -_-

    Diablo II: Resurrected is far from perfect. The changes in character design are likely to rile up returning players, and the archaic gameplay probably won’t agree with younger generations weaned on more streamlined, sophisticated experiences. While I appreciate that this legendary title is now available in an improved format, it’s not a caveat-free recommend.
