    I really love how they overhauled the graphics. The game looks beautiful and runs fantastic… on YouTube…the ONLY stable way to enjoy the gameplay of this game.

    Servers are down almost daily with barely any updates. Expect to not play on the weekends. Everything overhauled except server stability—20 years later and this is just proof that everything doesn’t get better in the future.

    Los servidores se caen continuamente y para colmo implementan sistema de colas..
    Cada vez que vas a jugar estás 1 hora esperando y cuando consigues acceder se crashea y tienes que volver a empezar

Потом ввели задержку на повторный вход 1 минуту. Ок, это не самое плохое решение, если это действительно решает проблему. Но лучше не стало. А потом ввели очередь на вход в игру!    Очень ждал этот ремастер и купил по предзаказу.

    Я когда покупал игру - не видел в ее описании информации о том, что для того, что бы поиграть, я буду должен полчаса сидеть и смотреть на экран загрузки!

    Я написал запрос на рефанд средств и получил отказ с кучей слов о том, что они стараются сделать все возможное, чтобы починить игру. Но главное, я слишком много в нее наиграл и по-этому фиг мне, а не возврат денег. Как говорится, с уважением, пошел на х..р .

    Это последняя игра, которой я и многие другие дали шанс. Той близзард больше нет и уже ни когда не будет.    … Expand

    Pre patch - game play from the range of 5 to 30 mins before getting disconnected by "you connection has been interrupted" message.

    After patch - login queue of at least 30 mins at 1 am --> 5 mins of game play --> "your connection has been interrupted" --> login queue of at least 30 mins --> 5 mins of game play --> "your connection has been interrupted" --> on endless repeat...

    Its a really good remaster, but Blizzard is going to hell. Add join queue, so you have to wait at least half an hour to get to lobby. Its shame. I love Diablo, but I hate Blizzard. Its almost unreal, what they did with that name - Blizzard. FU guys, FU!!!

    The way this game works is a joke - day after day it's getting worse. My baby son is sleeping now, I wanted to take a rest and enjoy playing the game which I PAID FOR, full price. But I can't - there is a queue and my place is 242! I know Blizzard is busy with sexual harassment, but at least they should deliver what they took money for.

    Being a big fan of the Diablo franchise, I had a lot of patience with this game. But even I have to admit now: This game is not worth a penny. Usually, it does not work (I can usually only play on weekends and on weekends you cannot login most of the time, even weeks after the release now). If you can login, there are many issues which should have been fixed during a beta or alpha:

    Bought the game yesterday. I would like to give more but I can’t play the game at all so that’s 70$ straight down the drain. Stuck in a “can’t access the server to let you play”. I even have to be online to play offline. Any game that you can actually play after buying it deserve more than this rating.

    In comparison to Diablo Immortal, this should get an 10, just because don't have P2W ... But the servers are horrible, lagging a lot, bots everywhere, sites selling itens for real money... Well, I just can't give a good review... the reflect is how Activision/Blizzard are holding their games, just thinking in money and nothing else!

    Do not waste your money on this game. Servers are literally unplayable for 8+ hours a day for the past 9 days. Blizz is not giving refunds and have gone as far as to blame the players for farming to much causing their out dated codes from the original game to crash

    I rather play the game in its original form than this replica without local multiplayer.

    Connection interrupted many times, wish I could host my own server instead of their instable servers. Online hardcore server will guaranteed kill you as you will teleport some times at the worst time. Losing connection = losing progress and loot on the ground.

    Unit pathing/collisions is identical, pretty sure they just updated the graphic engine and left everything else untouched. Graphics are slightly better but don't feel better with how clunking movement and world interaction is. Not to mention players blocking doorways etc.

    Inventory management is still a nightmare. They added tabs to the storage for shared storage which is nice. But, doesn't improve potion management. Should be able to set slots to auto pickup and slot specific potions. Also should be able to set auto use conditions.

    Multiplayer loot is first come first serve. Makes for a lot of communication required around loot which slows gameplay. Would be nice if loot would be suggested based on class/build. Considering the cost for the game.

    The original Diablo 2 I would give a 9/10 considering it was made 20+ years ago. This game you can only rate it on the reskin that it is. I would say they did a 10 out of 10 on updating everything artistically. But, unfortunately this is a game and visuals only affect the first impression and reality sets in and in this case I'll stick to the original game than this joke "resurrection" that tarnishes the original's legacy with no improvements to the game mechanics including no balance improvements.    … Expand

    Was stupid enough to buy twice since I loved the original. Since implementing the queue system I haven't been able to play once on PC. Error message after every 20-50 minute queue wait. On switch out of hundreds on attempts I have only been able to connect to online once since the introduction of queues.

    Is it a good game? Yes, it is. As good as the old one.

    But in 2021, sold an old game for 40 USD, with massive server issues after 2 weeks of the release is not acceptable. This is not what a game should be.

    To be honest, this is an old game. It's already priced at it's maximum. With the disastrous issues, I only want to tell Blizzard: Die. Blizzard. Die.

    Daily 1+ hour long of queuing, and sometimes you get booted off in the process, forcing you to re enter the queue again. Extremely poor quality and performance, with zero support from Blizzard. I do not recommend this game at all.

    Clicking a game to see how long it has been going on or how many players also barely works, and it won't even parse the game info before the list refreshes again and the previous game selection is lost again.

    A GIANT CLUSTERF*CK, as expected by now from blizzard.
    I guess we could have known after the fallacy or WC3 remastered.

    You blame us are playing different: we have created too many games. It's been 20-ish years we play it this way and you only realize that today? So it's all our fault?

    This is a best game with maximum additive gameplay. This game was released completed. I was happy to play and ended game on maximum level of hardcore. I have complit Diablo II. Achivment complit. But after 3 weeks after release servers still dont work. Why developers? Why the most popular mode don't work?

    Game is unplayable. On most platforms there are queue, but on nintendo switch there is no way to log in. There is only an error "you cant connect to battle net". Shame on you Blizzard

    Diablo II: Resurrected is a failure. If you want to play the game, have in mind that they don't have a way to restore player data. Any random rollbacks are time lost for you. No refunds will be given if the game removes your progress or even deletes your hero by a random chance. We are paying full price for a beta game, announced as fully released.

Why not take the spare resource to mine some, maybe bitcoins, as an extra compensation to your wonderful management team as a thank-you gift from all your fun base of this game?

    Oh, don't forget to let them know they are helping in generating more revenue for Blizzard. They will feel joy because they finally can compensate Blizzard. This joy will make them so happy despite the forever waiting time and won't be no longer angry that you will never fix the issue.

    The servers are down. I waited in line for an hour then it didn't load and I had to wait over an hour again. I will never buy a Blizzard game for the full amount again.

    If server issue can be avoided by playing offline, the game, however, crash far too much, making it just unplayable. It's unacceptable for a released product. Even an alpha release doesn't crash that much...

    This game removed the ability to remove immunities in Hell Mode. It is literally impossible to solo this game unlike the original. You need at least a pally, sorc, and necro to kill the Ubers. The ninja looting is garbage and playing with other people you don't know is **** You won't get any gear. To play offline mode - game request to log in every 30 days to verify your license so I waited in queue to log in half hour and then was through in the end if queue again.     Let me just start this by saying, the original diablo 2 that came out 20+ years ago is still to this day my favorite game of all time. When I heard that blizzard was remastering the game, I could hardly contain my excitement. The game looks incredible, Vicarious visions did an amazing job on that end. Unfortunately the greed of blizzard has overwhelmed the hard work of VV. I'm not usually one to complain but I honestly felt the need to make an account on here just to leave this review, to maybe save 1 person from wasting their money. I literally spend more time waiting in que or just not able to play at all than I'm actually able to play. The whole project just reeks of a giant cash grab from Blizzard and that really stinks. Every day they tweet about the "issues" with the servers while the game sits unplayable and nothing changes. Majorly disappointed.… Expand

    The fact that they added queue times to play Online, even if you just want to play a Private Session is just ridiculous. All I want to do is play as my Online character, which was hyped up to be able to play no matter what console you have (and now I can't access them at all!).     Game was nearly unplayable at Launch. They finally introduced a queue system to "fix" the strain on their servers. I don't know about pc or ps4 but on xbox the queue to get in takes about an hour on average at this point, and about half the time when I get to front of queue I get a message that says "could not connect to server" then I get kicked into offline mode and have to start over inGame was nearly unplayable at Launch.     In theory, the remaster is great, the graphics have not only been spruced up, but many lovely details have been added. However, this is worthless if the game is barely playable due to technical problems. At the moment it looks like this:

    And instead of just communicating that they are working on it, they blame the players for the servers being overloaded. They don't even know why players love the original. For the end game, for the hunt for better and better prey, for leveling up together.

    They would probably prefer it if everyone pays 40 bucks, plays the story once and uninstalled it to relieve the server.

    One month after release the servers continue to get worse. You can't get a refund because you have to do that within a few days of purchase. Too bad pleasure didn't let us know they were going to let everyone down a month after lunch. Save your money for something else if you were expecting a good multiplayer experience.

    Это просто дно! Жаль художников которые работали над ремастером, у них получилось передать атмосферу просто отлично. А вот с технической части это ужас. Пропадают предметы которых вернуть увы нельзя! Больше 100 часов игры просто вникуда когда пропали редкие руны. ЭХ жаль... Но "0" Эта самая адекватная оценка этой игре на данный момент.Это просто дно!     Extremely disappointed. It is impossible to play online. If you play offline, you cannot use those chars to play online. Servers keep crashing, you keep getting errors, etc... They have turned one of the best games into a total piece of garbage.

Я заплатил не малые деньги за игру и ещё должен отстоять в очереди, чтобы поиграть. Вход в комнату введя название это нечто. Постоянно выбивает ошибку соединения и после этого ни в какую комнату не зайдёшь и не создашь, при этом сам интернет отличный… Expand

    I have just spent an hour just waiting in a queue to start playing this game. If you don't want to get robbed, then don't buy it. You will only get pissed of, angry frustrated, you name it. Horrible experience.

    Данная игра была купленна 01.10.21. Играть в данную игру было возможно нормально только после выхода. 2 последующих дня отлеты от серверов. Сегодня 26.10 серваки лежат опять. Не советую данный продукт, а ну и естественно не кто вам не вернет деньги за не работующий продукт. Самое главное забрать ващи 25+$ а на остальное (сами знаете).     Sections of the day have infinite or long queue times. I work graveyards, so the only time I am available to play is during these unplayable times. Suppose I can play offline, but I paid for a multiplayer game. It has been weeks....unacceptable.

    Insane waiting list to connect to battle.net servers (1 hour or more if you are not playing at 6am) makes this game absolutely worthless. I don't undersantd how a 40€ game can be sold with this problem. Once you are at battle.net you could play solo to upgrade your charcater, but no, first you have to passa the queue even if you don't want to join/create a game....

    Diablo II: Resurrected is far from perfect. The changes in character design are likely to rile up returning players, and the archaic gameplay probably won’t agree with younger generations weaned on more streamlined, sophisticated experiences. While I appreciate that this legendary title is now available in an improved format, it’s not a caveat-free recommend.

    Diablo II returns with refreshed graphics and unaltered gameplay (apart from some small improvements). It’s as fun as I remembered, so I quickly felt at home and gave in to nostalgia. However, it’s hard not to notice that beneath revamped visuals lies a 21 years old design. [12/2021, p.32]
