    Its just well done! I just love the quickness and the thrill playing css aswell as cs! imho handling is one of the most important aspects of gaming aswell as the sound. both are bad in to much games wich have potential. not so in css and cs and of cause hl2dm. JUST WELL DONE!

    Eu Alternativo is a douche and so is anyone who gives this game a bad review because they can't cut it. Cheaters are cheaters but if they are playing just leave. Dont bash a game and bitch because you have to lick the sack of a n00b that knows how to use a mouse.

    This game can be fun if you want to take the time to build up your twitch reflexes. However, the hitboxes seem random. Valve could fix these issues if they took the time too. I've never been a game and didn't see at least one other person complaining about how screwy hitboxes tend to be. Yes, I realize lag can be part of the issue sometimes, but sometimes it's not. You have to spend a lot of time building up your twitch relfexes which is hard. The poorer players or the players who understand teamwork tend to die first, often feeling unsatisfied. There is little to no teamwork in pub play, which is a shame. Valve needs to add more incentives for teamwork (this is not a team oriented game and don't let anyone tell you differently). All in all, if they would cater less to one man armies and optimize their code, the game could be fun.… Expand

    The graphic is much better as the graphic from counter-strike 1.6 or counter-strike: condition zero. the maps are realer than before. i mean erverything is better than before :) they did a good job.

    Counter-Strike: Source is an amazing game. The graphics are awesome. The physics are insane and the game's updates really enhance the game play. I love it and will continue to love it for quite some time.

    much better graphics over 1.6. faster style of gameplay compared to 1.6. 1.6 probably does require more skill and is probably preferred for those who play competitively, but cs source feels more arcade-like, which is better for most people. also, some of the lesser used guns are more useful in this version, like tmp, p90, dualies, and auto shotgun.

    Wow, where do I start? This game has kept me addicted for months and months now, if nobody reminded me there was a world outside of counter strike source, i could play for a week straight without a problem.

    I find this game extremely fun how it can vary from game to game. not one has bored me yet. If you haven't tried yet, please. You will like it. Try the zombie mode too. It's one of the best. WOW. Definite thumbs up.

    In my opinion, Counter-Strike:Source is a really well designed continuation of the famous Counter-Strike 1.6 fps game. The Source engine really amused the CS followers and fans.

    By far one of the best games I have ever played! I can always enjoy jumping on for a while and blastin away. Source has improved the graphics and physics so much. This game will never get old. I look forward to the newer updates and versions to come!

    CS1.6 > CS:S This is a good game.. But Sadly, i'd still rather play 1.6 over it. I've been a big fan of the original HL series so naturally i love the original CS. In CSS, The graphics, physics, lighting effects are all just gimmicks imo.. 1.6 feels more comfortable when moving, shooting/killing. When you get a headshot on 1.6, there is a higher level of satisfaction WHEREAS on CS1.6 > CS:S This is a good game.. But Sadly, i'd still rather play 1.6 over it.     I think some of the negative ratings on this site are rating the community rather than the actual game, but that's a bit to be expected. The game is pretty good, kind of hard to learn at first when you get shot down without ever moving, but once you get the hang of it the game is really interesting. I wish there were a single player story mode though.

    VERY good game! The best online game I've ever played. Better than MTA, better than SA-MP, better than anything! I definitely give it a 10/10, play this game and you won't be off of the computer anytime soon.

    I am running this game 25/7... yea thats right... it gives my day an extra hr... best grapics i have seen in a while.... i havent slept in 2 days and thats how its been for a while now ... no sleep.... i would give it a 20 out of 10 but it wont let me LOL

    Good game, poor players. they constant bunny hopping and exploitive playing of most "players" of this game takes away any fun that may have been there for people with a life. the lack of realism is this games main downfall. and its main strong point for the people not skilled enough to play real FPS games

    I remember when I first got my laptop it never lagged in any game, I could actually enjoy it. Then, after awhile, it started slowing up. So when I first got CS:S I thought i was in for some major lag and I wouldn't be able to enjoy it. But, after like 15 games with no lag, where as my CS:CZ would lag after a half a game, I'm pretty impressed. I love this game!

Unluckily for me right when i got CS:S my pc was in that very bad slow motion mode. so it took me about 1hour 30minutes to upgrade or upload or whatever to start playing. But I played it in my cousins house zombie mod Warcraft 3 mod etc.... and it really is a fun game once you get used to it.     This game is a classic. I can see myself playing it for many years to come. Unlike other online games you don't have to play it 24/7 to be a contender or pay an arm and a leg to play the game.

    I love CS:S alot. The only downside I have ever had with the game is the fact you can not use iron sights. Other then that, levels are incredible, and very realistic. THe enviorment in the game is amazeing and just about everything you shoot, will react in its own way.
    Counter Strike is one of the worlds most popular games, CS:S is on its way to become everyones favorite

    This game standing from graphix is 10 + its built on 1.6, so it has high standards, it flew over the top making this a great game, for higher end computer or people who love pysic's. This game shows how sticking to original can be very successful.

    This game rocked, rocks, and will rock! Just looking at this game is a pleasure. It is also very realistic in physics, weapons, and gfx. If you are thinking about buying Half Life, you might as well buy Counter Strike and have more fun with kicking terrorists' butts than just kill ppl without any clear reason.

    The game is very good if you're a good gamer ... But sometimes Steam can be very frustrating ! The graphics are OK but the gameplay is not perfect . You can't even jump on a crate of 1.5m ... So a tip for the buyers :
    buy it only if you have a perfect internet connection and if your fingers are very fast; if you wait a second in front of your enemy, you're dead....

    Great game, nice graphics, but fails to live up to the original CS. Another thing, not as many people have mastered the Source engine as the Half-Life engine, thus, there are way more custom maps for 1.6

    You can never grow tired of this game. If played with a group of friends/ a useful team/ a clan, there truely is no more rewarding online gaming experience. The graphics are good, (with great implamentation of HDR lighting in some maps) and the gameplay is fantastic. It's just a shame you have to meet some true morons on Public servers but this should not blemish a really great game -You can never grow tired of this game.     Nearly a perfect game, in places a bit unrealistic but has been changed a lot from the crap graphics and very unrealistic gameplay of CS 1.6. Sadly though they have changed many things which doesn't really have the touch of the original CS. The graphics are almost perfect but some things could be changed. But if you're a Counter-Strike fan this is a must buy object.

    I hate this game! Realistic??? Only headshots and if you didn't hit with the first shot you get shot because your opponent will turn around and kill you with only one shot (as I said only headshots!). I spactated one game and counted the headshots. 78% headshots and rest normal. In FEAR for example there are only 9% headshots (as I counted them) Can somebody explain me that? And if I hate this game! Realistic???     THE fps standard that all will forever be compared to. Great gameplay, excellent graphics and physics. Highly addictive too. The best part? CONSTANT free updates for bugs, glitches, maps and game models, so the game is getting better as it gets older...something you can rarely say.

    One of the best games I've played. With so many servers online, it's impossible not to find a server to your liking. Though I have found some glitches, but they hardly happen. This game is truly worth buying. Great multiplayer action.

It is unrealistic in some ways. One of the biggest disappointments is the non-tatical gameplay (its basically a run and gun game), they also took out the tactical shield, which was one of the greatest weapons, One of the greatest FPS game ever made for the PC. Graphics are just absolutely amazing. The Physics are so lovely. The only thing that bugged me just a tad bit was the gameplay. It is unrealistic in some ways.     Fantastic addition to the already classic series. The use of the Half-Life 2 engine for great graphics and realistic physics make the game play all the more intense. As stands true with most valve games it has a huge fan base, who extend the game-play even further by releasing new maps, skins, sounds and more.

    Very nice graphics, but poor models moving. A big step forward from CS 1.6. Still, the firing is unrealistic, too many head shots... I'll give it a 7. The good thing in buying the DVD is that you get the HL2:Deathmatch and DayOfDefeat: Source, making the DVD worth buying.

The different game modes can make it interesting when your looking for something new (surfing, zombies, gun game, rpg, etc), and the ability to play user created maps (download from servers saves alot of time).     The game, from the beginning has problems, the reason they released it like that is so that valve can test the extent that they can modify the game according to the bugs reported by the player. I playe 1.6 since 1.1 and I am proud to say that I still play 1.6 and source. The best part about CS is the potenial for fun maps and different styles of gameplay.     Easy to teach. But you needn't to be clever toplay very good. If you want to play in it very good you mast only play. You mast not to think. It is only counter-strike 1.6 . And it had not intresting new things. Bat cs1.6 is old game and it and it couldnot live a lot of time . When cs 1/6 will be died (not soon),css will be alive!

    I believe that by far Counter strike Source is one of the most amazing and excellently interactive games on the market and i believe it to be a great way to not only play but to meet people make friends and build awesome teams for competition css is by far not only a great game with staying power but a great game in the all around sense of the word great.

    This game is amazing, has really good game play, also you can get skill in this game quite easily, and watching other people with specator mode seeing how they play tha game.

    I have been playing Counter-Strike since it's inception after the first Half-Life as a mod that wasn't well known until almost 6 months after it's release, and now that I've finally picked up a rig capable of playing it. I havn't stopped.     Amazing, Simply amazing, well worth the money. The graphics are sweet, the gameplay is fantastic, and the games(gungame,zonmbie etc..) are fantastic. The sound clips just add to the awe of this game.

    Valve has done a sterling job of moving a flagship franchise over to a new engine. Whilst the gameplay guts come over correct and intact, (which may disappoint some), Counter-Strike: Source is an even more engrossing and captivating experience, capable of sapping hours of your time, and even the worst "1337 g33zers" abusing voice chat can't spoil the fun you'll have with it.

    Counter-Strike: Source is, once you've gained a knack for it, the most consistently rewarding and surprising team-based shoot-'em-up available on the PC today. It's been dressed up nicely for its relaunch in 2004, but it wasn't broken, and Valve hasn't fixed it.
