    Counter-Strike was always my favorite shooters, and when I finally played CS: Source I was having little siezures of joy. It's brilliant. Half-Life 2 graphics and physics (which are amazing), and that same old CS feel. The game is quick paced and insane.

    The is excellent! Things missing: Leaning, nade's power should be increased to make it real (now it is very poor, it's a gadget more than useful in a game). Also, i just can't be an admin on my own game... and i just don't know how. We shouldn't have to modify text files to access to it. This point makes me upset.     Great game once you get used to it. You just have to wait for the perfect time to shoot. There are several mods and extra maps available for download, such as the Zombie mod, which only allows headshots to count. This is the best game online, at the moment, IMO.

    The normal arenas of the game have kept players ecstatic for days on end. I personally go wild on the Surf maps, and can play 100 rounds w/o knowing what time it is.

    This game is great. It's fun with some arcade-esque mod servers, but also has a good amount of realism. A lot of people play it, so finding a server isnt very hard. /if your computer can run it, I'd highly reccomend Counter Strike Source. If I had a complaint, its would be that you have to wait for a round to end to respawn, and rounds can tend to be excesively long, but the This game is great.     Many 1.6 fanboys will tell you that this game cannot compare to the likes of such a game- but they are highly mistaken. This is by far the best online shooter out there. Never before have I had so much fun playing a game. The graphics are stunning, the engine is super-realistc, and no one dislikes the feel of destroying a n00b and saying "GG UNINSTALL".

    This game is a must-have.

    Tbe graphics are really great and sometimes the gameplay gets really demanding. Unforunately, when shooting a guy's foot you randomly get a headshot. I've come to the conclusion that Valve has successfully made the head's hitbox the size of a refrigerator.

    I have been playing CS since its infancy in 1998, it was, is, and for the forseeable future, the best multiplayer FPS ever created. And Source made it even better, thank you valve, for rewarding loyalty.

Gameplay is amazing, people shouldn't complain about lack of maps, the CSS community has a multitude of custom content (whichI think personally are amazingly better than the official maps, they're just more... fun!!!)     The engine is too choppy. mainly because the game was designed around a graphics engine not a physics engine. The game just doent feel right. It looks nice, just runs very bad. one of the worse fps games to date.

    Superb game, the new engine works wonders. However it still falls prey to some the same bs that I experienced in 1.6, other that that it's the perfect shooter and I enjoy hours of fun on it!

    I liked Counter-Strike. I like Counter-Strike Source. They are both awesome, but Counter-Strike Source totally rocks. It's simply fun to see your enemys flying correctly through the air and the physiks and graphics are stunning. 10 great points!

    Counter-Strike: Source is a fantastic game. While it lost some of the old CS touch, this does not make it a bad game---something a lot of idiots think. The game itself is still fantastic, and I love it dearly.

    This game is my favorite game, you can do anything with it. With a little bit of modding and mapping. You can make this game into anything from a house of the dead styled zombie killing game to a soccer game if you like.

    Some people think that CS:S is a nice Add-On to Half-Life2. Thats completely wrong! Half-Life2 is a nice Add-On to Counterstrike Source.

Given that, I feel I have the best understanding of the progression of the game. I was adament against switching to source, but it is, in fact, better than 1.6. The models, the physics, the engine, everything. Now Alright, well unlike just about EVERYBODY who plays the game now, I've been playing HL and CS since BETA. That's right, since CS was a mod you had to dl, before 1.0. Given that, I feel I have the best understanding of the progression of the game.     wow, this was an amazing game. I bought half-life2 game of the year edition. I bought it because i wanted to play half-life2. But i was surprized by how good CSS was and have bever turned back.

    I've played CS:S since the beta, and 1.6 before that all the way down to 1.5 or so... it's a great game, and it never gets boring.

    Counter-strike was already good but this is even better it should get a 100 procent cause the gameplay and graphics owns and you don't even need a very good computer to run it.

    The sad part is people think this gameplay is at all practical.
    The fans of it are so die hard that if you suggested anything else they insult you rather than considering the possibility that Counter-Strike isn't the only game on the planet. The gameplay is alright but the players WILL ruin the experience for any who are not among the few, the loud, the narrow minded.

    Valve has done a sterling job of moving a flagship franchise over to a new engine. Whilst the gameplay guts come over correct and intact, (which may disappoint some), Counter-Strike: Source is an even more engrossing and captivating experience, capable of sapping hours of your time, and even the worst "1337 g33zers" abusing voice chat can't spoil the fun you'll have with it.

    Counter-Strike: Source is, once you've gained a knack for it, the most consistently rewarding and surprising team-based shoot-'em-up available on the PC today. It's been dressed up nicely for its relaunch in 2004, but it wasn't broken, and Valve hasn't fixed it.
