    Great Game. Quite some differences to the old Counterstrike but that's what makes the game something special. The only thing I claim as "not perfect" ist on the one hand that valve gave to many opportunities for config-tuning and on the other hand the support from valve conceirning bugfixes and updates.

    CSS is probably the most realistic game up to date with the best physics which gives u the opportunity to feel the anxiety around you in your own home as if you're on the battlefield... Great game.

    Superior graphics, intelligent design, realistic battle sequences: the sequel surpasses its predecessor and then some. Check out the layers, textures , much improved rag dolls , etc.

    the squad dynamics on this game are great for 5v5 twl games. teamspeak is a godsend... and this game is just a ton of fun.

    Been playing CS from the beginning, CSS is just the next step. It only gets better! 10/10 all the way, highly recommended for FPS lovers.

    this game is really great. and also i goes much further from cs 1.6 when u shoot in css you hit and dont have to do random stuff like in 1.6.

    The game is excellent, it has taken the classic Counter Strike to the next level. The grphics are stunning and the sound is awesome. only 2 things that need improvement. 1. Bring back the tactical sheild. 2. Hackers are everywhere and ruin the game

    Great game and all, but the community is bad for newbies. there are a lot of hackers too, but that really shouldn't reflect back on the game.

    Fan of 1.6. Moved to it this year, all I can say is its the sweetness with all the models and things being revamped, I can't wait to get back to playing!

    Class game bigger maps and more guns i agree and i like the new skins, very cool, prehaps more camoflaged one like the terorist snow one which i like to use on office cool and funny lol gg.

    It's a nice game but its unstable on my system.. shutting down css takes about 1.5 minute while other harder games just shut down and dont need to load windows again (what it looks like)

    CSS has to be the coolest online game of all times and it deservers some kind of award!!! Awsome Game the out did them selfs on this one, CS 1.6 is still cool but CSS jist goes to another lvl

    The game in itself is pretty decent, but the cheaters and hackers and mismatched weapons can ruin a game in one round.

    Nice game, I love it, but that annoying hitbox problem should be fixed..It is funny to kill somebody while you shoot 3 meters behind him.

    Great online-game. Good-looking graphics and great sound. Much fun because of lots of different maps. Every map online playable with people around the whole planet.

    This was a very intense and addicting game for the time i was able to play it. i loved every second of it. i played during the 2 day preview or whatever it was called. the maps were really easy to learn, the action was never far away, and i enjoyed working as a team. i'm a MOH:AA fan. i personally think the online gameplay was more fun than counterstrike:source, but not as much fun asThis was a very intense and addicting game for the time i was able to play it. i loved every second of it. i played during the 2 day preview or whatever it was called. the maps were really easy to learn, the action was never far away, and i enjoyed working as a team. i'm a MOH:AA fan. i personally think the online gameplay was more fun than counterstrike:source, but not as much fun as MOH:AA. oh yeah, one more thing... think about how much satisfaction was to be had when you captured all strongpoints/flags and won the match, wasn't that great?… Expand

    What is wrong with those companies? Have they ever actually played CSS? CSS is one of the greatest games of all time. Great graphics, great gameplay, endless possibilities with plug-ins, it has it all.

    Excellent, the plugin mods (mani admin, zombie horde) make this one of the most versitile fps mutliplayer games I've played.

    While updating the graphics Valve lost everything that made Counter-strike 1.6 so fantastic. While the game looks good it lacks the gameplay that made its predecessor so successful. A pretty but poor game that rides on the successor of the far superior game it followed.

    This game is great. You've got almost everything a game multiplayer game could ask for. High Quality Graphics with low latency, a sh.t load of guns, great player models and kick ass physics.

    I've played 1026 h and i think this is "one" of best shooter online.. I am still waiting for "Counter Strike 3.0" ? :> but in third part of game must have next gen graphics and amazing physics. :PP

    Great graphics, challenging but helpful bots, (much more fun than playing online absurd teens and "tweens" with too much time on their hands and who usually berate anyone except true pros) Great new maps with stunning sound & detail. The bots are a bit predictable but I defy anyone to write a better AI program.     i love this game counter strikes are the best shooters ever and always will be (i hope). the only thing that brings this game down is its limited capacity of online play. sometimes you shoot someone in the head and it doesnt kill em. this only happens a few times though so i cant complain. works like a dream with linkup though the game rocksm/(o_o)m/

    This game has decent graphics and the gameplay is quite fun. Nothing special, especailly as it's basicly a copy of counter-strike 1.6 the original ground breaking multiplayer game. Downsides are that it seems to have problems registering bullets connecting to the other players when you have hit someone, this could be due to the hit boxes not being that accurate, but most of the time This game has decent graphics and the gameplay is quite fun.     It's a Good game whith nice grafik...fun too play, but its relly diffrent from all the other Cs games its moore like Half-life 2, with the new updates so u can look other then like 1 char all chars from cs has come. I recomend This game too all that like Half-life 2 Dm and wanna try something new in Cs revolotion.

    The only thing that is better than in usual counter-strike, are the graphics and physics. It makes me sad, that you have no chances in this game if you do not have 4000 USD right now to buy a super-computer. Also there is a huge hitbox bug, as you can see in this video:

    The best online multiplayer ever, no doubts or questions! The feel of it and the realism are nearly perfectly balanced and matches can become totally absorbing. I am addicted and even after many hours of playing it, you just can't get sick of it. Wow! The best game out atm.

    Besides the usual quirky game mechanics that have been around since CS's first inception the game is amazing. With the source engine driving this game scoring kills just got 10 times more satisfying.

    i think this is a brillient game. i only got this game because it came with half-life 2 game of the year eddition. and i got a very nice surprise when i started playin this game online.

    Valve has done a sterling job of moving a flagship franchise over to a new engine. Whilst the gameplay guts come over correct and intact, (which may disappoint some), Counter-Strike: Source is an even more engrossing and captivating experience, capable of sapping hours of your time, and even the worst "1337 g33zers" abusing voice chat can't spoil the fun you'll have with it.

    Counter-Strike: Source is, once you've gained a knack for it, the most consistently rewarding and surprising team-based shoot-'em-up available on the PC today. It's been dressed up nicely for its relaunch in 2004, but it wasn't broken, and Valve hasn't fixed it.
