    Call Of Duty Ghosts has an amazing single player, an excellent multiplayer and a very important addition to Call Of Duty series. I really do not understand why the negative reviews this game, I believe that children are adults who want to look and Battlefield fanboys. And the best versions of this game certainly is on PlayStation 3,PlayStation 4 and WiiU.

    excelent graphics, excelent sound, epic campaign, squads mode is great, extinction is good, and multiplayer is very good on every aspect. best of the series

    The singleplayer campaign is the worst that i've seen but they did some efforts for the multiplayer and the other singleplayer modes. The max graphics of the game are similar to MW3. If you don't know what Call of Duty is you musta been living under a rock or something.As the tradition says,we get CoD every freakin' year.TBH,CoD has slighty changed every year.And every year it sinks deeper and deeper.After the fenomenal CoD 4 came ALOT of CoD games that were the same.Of course,after Black Ops 2 came out I started thinking that CoD is going in the right direction.Blops2 was pretty damn good.But,that only aplies to Treyarch,beacuse it seems that Infinity Ward just doesn't give a lets see the mess that came from the labs of IW...oh boy...

    Okay,first things first:the graphics.I'm not the graphics guy,but I must say that Blops2 had better graphics (I promise that I will stop comparing these two,okay?).I don't know,just Blops2 had more lively colors,but Ghosts has more of a Grey pallet kinda-thingy.Even the character models look dull (atleast in SP).

    Now,lets talk about gameplay and Singleplayer.Gameplay wise,it's a pretty much the same.There are some cool features in the game (like Riley,sniping with the remote sniper... etc.),but none of these features are that ground breaking...So gameplay is standard.Its fluid,fast,and it can keep you entertained.Okay,now comes the singleplayer.It sucks compared to ANY CoD I played.Every CoD had the singleplayer campaign,which was a short,but pretty epic,experience.Ghosts threw that outta the fooping window!You can predict the games story by just watching the news on TV!So apparently China or whoever stole some nice ODIN equipment blah blah blah EXPLOSIONS,boom boom boom,GUNFIGHTS.Thats the only thing you will experience this time around!The main character is Logan or something which doesn't even talk...I thought we got over that like 5 years ago!Even Blops2(I LIED)hasn't got a main character who doesn't talk¨!You can clearly see that IW was strugling to bring something this time around!Like wtf?So after a while your gonna finish this game...Your dads gonna be killed,Rileys gonna be shot,someones brain fell out when making this game....at the end of this stupid campaign you get a RETARDED cliffhanger,which probally means there is gonna be more of ghosts,which I REALLY hope not.In terms of SP that is.Hey,Jack you retarded say.What about extinction? IN THE SACK.Extinction is zombies but with aliens.SO THAT MEANS IT SUCKS SO BADLY THAT I HAD TO TURN OFF MY PC!Nothing in extinction makes sense!The ONLY good thing is the LOL easter egg,but even that can be boring after 10 minutes UGH!

    Okay,here comes the multiplayer part.Suprisingly enough,there are some pretty cool modes here and there.Like Safeguard,Hunted,Infected etc.The player customization is pretty much THE BEST THING IN THE GAME!woot!*pops confetti*!There is thousands and thousands of possible combinations(you can even be a girl)!There are some special options,like the Ghillie suit,or the ghost mask,or the new ghost mask.Weapons and everything else is standard.But now you can get these tokkens or whatever so you can earn easier,without leveling.Its a nice touch,but it cant fix an ultimately broken game.Maps are bigger which is better and there is A CRAP TONN of 'em.Also some maps can be destroyed in a battlefieldy way...there is a map with a gas station and if you destoy it it blows the up and it changes the gameplay a little bit and it opens new place to camp from.woow...So in conclusion multiplayer is the reason why to buy this game.As for bugs there are few but they are not gamebreaking,apart the ridicolous requerments.The next gen engine is not that much better than the standard engine.
    BUT,there is a thing that bugs me....when they announced Ghosts,I thought this game would be more stealth based.That is a HUGE dissapointment.For me,atleast.

    So in conclusion,this game is not for everyone.For people who want to play the SP are gonna be dissapointed.People who want some nice weekend action,they would probally want to rent it.Only the TRYHARD FANS of CoD are gonna enjoy the game.But hey,that's how Activision makes money,right?    … Expand

    Not looking for a fairly short story that can be completed in four hours at Infinity Ward to get a high-quality blockbuster each subsequent misiya not like the previous, cool graphics and plenty of modes for multiplayer. In general, the game was cool but not without faults that...

    I don't get why people are complaining so much! Ok, it's a bit laggy sometimes, but the game is great! Sleek graphics and good gameplay. A fast paced shooter worth your money! :)

    It's call of duty, so what can you expect from Infinity Ward, they make games too gud. It's so moch like the last one, but i like to pay 60 dollars, cause if u werk for 7 1/2 hours in mickey D's, you can get this game. Call of dooty too gud, a must have. Can't wait for the sequel.

Yes it is highly scripted with endless troop loops if you don`t keep up with it, but the game is very fun regardless.     i cant even believe the other people who gave this a zero would even think to mention graphics when theres repeated content over and over in every cod game and gets really stale

    The multiplayer on the other hand is absolutely awful.     This game is not the worst cod ever made, but it's far from being the best. The single player campaign sucks and the multiplayer is ok with a few issues.
    The extincion mode is a very cool addition and i think it may be better than the zombie mode.
    Overall this game is fun to play

It has been proven that innovative games get purchased less and so developers stick with what works. you may hate that almost every game is an FPS, but it's an amazing genre. The thing is, you may say you hate it, but I know that you're just gonna spend hours on multiplayer. So stop hating on C.O.D, andAmazing graphics.     Honestly, I disagree with a lot of what the haters are saying. This is actually not that bad of a game. It's the first Call of Duty game I've enjoyed playing. The graphics aren't bad, they remind me of the way the Modern Warfare series looked. The new customization options are fun to mess around with.     Personally, I think that this game is an upgrade from Black Ops 2. I'm especially fond of the new Extinction mode, it's a welcome change from the old Zombies games. The game is, although it's "the same as the others", fun to play. Sliding around the map avoiding the other team can be pretty amusing. What's so wrong with this game for it to have such a low score?

    It's a diffcult game. But I think this game is too simple because you really only can be two skills, dodge an attack and attack with your weapon or magic.

    Forget what others say. Get CODnapped and submerge yourself in this gem of a campaign. A surprisingly long explosive singleplayer campaign will keep you happy and satisfied. So shutup and start shooting something.

I know that call of duty is optimized for consoles running at 60 fps on Xbox 360 that is no excuse for next gen Battlefield 4 now runs at 60 fps on both next gen consoles and is a bigger game than cod: ghosts. that does not mean it was absolutely terrible the campaign wasa lot of you can agree with me that call of duty is just the same game over and over again and just a cash grab.     This game feels like any other Call of Duty, pray and spray and after many many years of this same game, I'm sick of it. I have moved on and this game was just the end for me. Do not buy this game, it will not even run on my computer but my Xbox runs it fine. This game was just a money grabber.

MW3 and Bo2 were good games, and Ghost is barely keeping up with graphics, but what makes it so much 'worse' is the spawns, hackers, and other strange things. The spawns are made like free-for-all spawns, and is the only game that you can actually watch a guy spawn on front of you. Also, the amount of hackers exceed MW3 and Bo2 combined, having at least 1 hacker every 3 lobbies on average. Also, there have already been hackers and cheaters since the time of the Beta test, possibly even at the Alpha Stage. Also, there is no point to 'gunfights' anymore. It doesn't matter what the damage is, what the range is, or whatever else there is. One of the players, and it doesn't matter which one it is, will always win the gunfight through some strange miracle. Tons of killcams now show how people only hit around 1 bullet, maybe none of their bullets, but still kill. Ghost has really been a disappointment.… Expand

The maps really are my major gripe with the game. Yes, they are that bad, and I strongly recommend avoiding this game for that reason.     Worst COD game ever. Unoptimized for pc. Graphics are outdated. Lags out the A$$, more hackers than all of COD combined! My PC is top of the line: Intel i7-3970X 3.50 GHz, 16gd DDR3, 3 way-sli GTX Titans. The game still runs like crap. DO NOT BUY!

The Maps are all Terrible! they have absolutely no new interesting game modes (Matter of fact, they've removed many of the funnest game modes) All Assault Rifles are a 2 shot kill and Shotguns are spammable. The Spawns are horrific and the kill streaks are generic and stupid. SupportLet me just start off with say that this game is the worst Call of Duty that has ever been released. I've been playing Call Of Duty since CoD 2 and if you're looking for a decent CoD game, then don't buy Ghosts, it's truly the biggest waste of money I've ever spent and I do not see myself touching in the future...     This game is optimized very poorly. I have a 4gb 760, which is what Nvidia recommends for the game, and i can get over 45. And to top it all off, it stutters so much, the game is unplayable, and that's not even with the settings all the way up.

    i despise this game soo hard i have been ripped off of 60$ over a game with a error that cant be fixed i have the minimum requirements met it just wont load even after they took the limiter off it still had same error if only i could get a refund over a crappy game that wouldnt even launch

    I really like this game, The campaign is nice, My friend has bought this game only for single-player and co-op. I like the new Co-op. We play it on an old xbox 360, Only the videos can lag a bit. I think this is the best COD since world at war.

    It's Call of Duty, but now you can turn contextual lean on. Pretty amazing i know. Well the game runs fine as always. Looks fine, but just cause it's not broken doesnt make it good. Boring unrealistic stories 4 life.

    Only 65 degree field of view? Which cannot be adjusted!!?? WTF Activi$ion?! Do you know is 2013 and most of us use 16:9 widescreen monitors?!! This is a major fail!

    MP is crazy as always I find the standard MP unplayable the only one that I can cope with is hardcore. But that is a let down too due to very limited number of maps and game types you can use.

    Customization is minimal I don't really care for it but is worse even than BLOPS 1.

    The maps I played so far are minuscule the only big map is on standard game type only which I find unplayable to get a kill you need to hit 4-5 times.

    I will persevere with some of the other new game types, however this is turning to be not just the worst CoD, but just a bad game in general.

If anything, I think it's just a cheap marketing tactic to trick people into thinking that the engine has been upgraded when it hasn't at all.

    The graphics are pretty much the same, fairly low resolution textures, the same shadows, everything.

    It's very disappointing. If anything, Ghosts is a step backwards because they user interface is slightly more confusing adding along a point system to save up and buy weapons to make everyone diverse in terms of weapons and equipment.

    As for the port, it's quite bad. The frame rate goes up and down like a yo-yo because it's been optimised poorly. You need to turn off a few options to get decent frame rate as well as set all the textures to 'extra' as they're blurry if set to automatic. Although, I will say I do like that they've added multiple options for anti-aliasing such as FXAA and MSAA as well as MLAA which I think all developers should include in their games as I really don't like FXAA because it looks awful. Although I will say the only game I think has done a decent job at FXAA is Bioshock Infinite but anyway...

    Overall, it's a fairly bad port, pretty much the same game, small maps, simply bad. Hey, guess what they're going to do in the next Call of Duty... That's right. The exact same thing! They'll sucker you into their marketing tactics just like Ghosts. That is, if you keep buying the exact same game every year which I hope you dont.    … Expand

    Brutally poor optimization for the PC port. Was barely playable at launch and they really didn't make much of an attempt to improve it by the end of it's run as the latest Call of Duty title. Hands down, one of the worst Call of Duty experiences I've had... and I played Modern Warfare 3.

    Sadly Activision could take MW2, enhance the weapon attachments, perk system, kill streaks, uniforms and add a function to personalize clan tags, etc... and drastically grow the map collections and have a far superior game! Players camp all the time and know there is now UAV or SAT to spot them... so expect camper in every window and in every corner. Gunplay is idiotic, weapons have bigger side to side recoil then up/down. CoD even mw3 were quite fun to play cause there was a lot of run&gun jumping etc. Now its more static and i guess players are forced to camp. There are not many weapons to play with, there is no server browserm only dumb p2p matchmaking[ or dedicated matchmaking], CoD Cinema was completely removed so now you cant watch your replays or check if someone was a cheat or he jus had been a pro. For me it looks like a lazy work.
    SinglePlayer- I had some fun but its not as fun as mw trilogy or blackopses and i bought this game for MP.
    Extinction- There are plenty of COOP games for few bucks, this mode is compared to them. Its just boring and pointless.
    In Conclusion- Dont buy this game. Maybe if people stop buying unfinished or just bad game then devs and their publishers will try harded to deliver a proper entartaining product.     Okay the singleplayer, so far not that great, Black Ops 2 was better. The campaign is very handholdy, you get to use these cool tactical items but they are scripted to very specific times in the game. Want to use that remote sniper again while your pinned down in a fire fight? Tough luck, you need to progress and wait for the prompt at the specific point in the story. These ideas could have been great if the developers respected our intelligence, like on veteran mode if they would tweak the difficulty so that you would NEED to use the automatic sniper more often, and other times they are just over powered. There is this seizure inducing tactical weapon in the game that when you use it, it basically blinds enemies as long as you have it up... No not pointed at them, just turn it on. I faced directly away from them and they still couldn't shoot me. Gunplay is upped somewhat on a couple of guns, some of them have good sound assets and such but it feels very familiar. In fact I think the weapons were better in Black Ops 2. The story is just OK, Black Ops 2 had good voice work, progressing story and your average likable soldier characters. Here it's really just not that great, the story has some interesting ideas but never really improves them in the gameplay aspect, I mean in CoD you were already killing thousands of soldiers while your dumbass friendly AI shot at walls so I still don't feel like America is as vulnerable as it should feel and your as out gunned as you should be.

    Finally, the P.C. port, wow, just, awful. I run a i7 3.5 GHZ with an ATI 7950 and I can't hit a solid 60 at high settings, to give you an example of what this card can do. Crysis 3 (bare in mind it is optimized heavily for my card brand) can run at 60 fps butter smooth at max settings (except shadows) at 1080p and it looks damn better, in fact, crysis 1 looks better than this game.

    In the end, Call of Duty Ghost's singleplayer is not as good as Black Ops 2 but the multiplayer might easily be (I haven't played any of Black Ops 2s for more than 30 minutes but they did bring back the old system of gun levels in that game so...) but the PC port and its 60 dollar asking price for 30 gigs of mostly wasted space is a hard sell. It's a slightly above average game with many hours of content but the PC port pushes it down.    … Expand

    Still the same tired mechanics and tropes. Terrible AI which walk backwards into firefights on the hardest difficulty, textures which made me feel like I've went back in time. The only part which reminded me it was past the year 2000 was the underwater segment, but it was hardly redeeming when I ran into a fish which were purported to be programmed to move out of the way.

    It's still a sight to see in a way though, even if it's to experience what Activision deemed, not only a Call of Duty game, but also one that was going to be the first one for the new generation of consoles, and it sold a lot, as it always does, but it sucked and in the end, if historicity has done anything, is reafirm the fact that this is widely considered to be the worse game in the franchise by far, and with good reason.    … Expand

    A broken piece of **** and they ban you if you try to fix it. Bugs include: 6 GB ram requirement, SLI not working at all and much more. Easily worts cod relased in years.

    Multiplayer is very laggy, the game just feels badly coded a big disappointment. I waited for the updates and I truly think they made the game even more unplayable. Playing from Asia (Hong Kong) where I now stay is impossible even with the most badass internet connection the game is just to dam laggy and for $59 you know I'm pretty pissed.

I played MW2 the other day and i found myself having an equal if not a more fun time than i did while playing ghost. The levels are better and the perks are simple and the kill streaks are not over powered (aside from the nuke). If the call of duty franchise went as follows; CoD 4, Mw2, Black ops 2 in the same time span, meaning 4 of these games would not exist and there would be about 2 years between each game. I would not have as fed op with this series if I had TIME to miss the game. There will be parades in the street when BattleFRONT 3 comes out because it will have been like 8 years.     OK, software problems can be solved. And the i have contacted support and a few weeks later somes problems have been solved.     Today, 04 june of 2014 i have entered in the multiplayer.
    How many players has worldwide?
    Only 1113!
    After waiting a few minutes because there is no much players avaliable i started the game.

    In the first few seconds i see an player running and crossing a door and i'm in his back.
    I just start running in his direction as i'm in his back he is not seeing me.
    What happen is when i cross the door he is aiming in my direction and shooting!

    Seeing the replay the player by nothing has just stop going in the direction and returning back to my direction aiming down.
    When I cross the door he just shot.

    Ok, coincidences happen.
    I play for more a few minutes and the player is the TOP in the team with zero deaths.

    OK, the player can be a super skilled guy with a long time of play in the map.

    But in the end what happens is that games like that doens't attrack new players and some old players that just enjoy a good action FPS giveup.

    There is a minority of super/mega/power players that must play in dedicated rooms with only themselves.

    Maybe we merelly mortals with normal skills deserve a game that we can play with fun.

    Just forget to buy this game.
    You will only see a lot of cheaters or super power players that you won't have fun.    … Expand

It seems Activision didn't put a lot of time into this and wanted it out before the fanboys got too hectic. Maybe further updates can resolve these problems but for now, I recommend you don't buy it.… Expand

    The spawn engine is absolutely terrible. The graphics are completely outdated compared to "other" titles. Resource usage is insane which is to be expected from a production line franchise. Infinity Ward brought me into the CoD Franchise and forced me to leave with this pile of crap. Thank you for curing the addiction.

On top of that I cannot believe how many cut scenes and animations there were in the game that literally got copy & pasted from MW2 & MW3. I have been saying it for years, Infinity Ward is dead. Activision needs to let Treyarch take on as full time lead developer, then let SledgehammerAfter playing threw both the Xbox 360 & Xbox One versions of the game... I am simply not impressed. I'll get to why I gave it a 5 out of 10 soon enough, so just bear with me.

    I have been an avid COD player since before Modern Warfare came out and changed the way developers looked at First-Person-Shooters. Ever since COD:4, however, I have seen the trend with each new expansion to COD's best game ever, every year. Although they have added new mechanics, guns, and overall content with each new game (And then took it away every developer switch) they have yet to make anything but the same thing over and over again, and Ghosts is no exception.

    Some of the new features, such as Squad Points and Extinction Mode, are neat and brought a tiny bit of life into the game, just enough for people to shell out their hard-earned $60 for the "game". The graphics aren't much of an improvement from Black Ops II, and can even look like a step back from the right angle. Aside from some unbalanced guns and some other useless kill-streaks, COD:Ghosts managed to do what I thought was impossible, continue to make money AND further destroy what was once an amazing series. The proof is in the overwhelming negative reviews from players and even critics.

    On a side note, for being in the future the games sure does a good job of making me feel like I'm back around the time of Black Ops I. With Hueys and modern scout helicopters flying around, I can't tell if we're in the time of the Vietnam War or in 2013. It gets even more confusing when people bring out the higher-end kill-streaks, which place you in command of a support or ground attack satellite. I can't imagine it would have taken much to, at the very least, include an Osprey kill-streak or something that looks somewhat more futuristic. I understand the plot of the Single-Player campaign, however that isn't an excuse to dumb down the technology in the online MP.

    Now, to my reason why I gave this game 5 out of 10. My reason for doing this, is that although the game may be not great overall, it pretty much gave me exactly what I was expecting. I never expected a better addition to the ongoing list of expansions, and I haven't for the last three COD "games". Black Ops II was a little surprise for me as I thought it was going to be worse than it actually was, however this game didn't fail to meet my low expectations: Stale and overused gameplay, more unbalancing in MP, and same or worse graphics. Although I say these things, the game can be fun when played with friends. Although the gameplay is by far stale and repetitive, I can say for sure that the new modes are fun and can somehwhat make up for the same game modes we've seen before. Overall, it's not as bad of a game as everyone says it is, however it certainly isn't something that Infinity Ward will ever be bragging about.

    If you're looking for something new and exciting, I would recommend Battlefield 4 if you don't mind some server issues. If you're playing on the PC and just want to have fun with friends, I would recommend Sanctum 2 or Dungeon Defenders instead of COD:Ghosts.

    An utterly horrible PC port mars an otherwise very, very average Call of Duty game. Nothing to see here.
