    A solid $10 generic FPS. Not a $40 IW classic.
    Do not waste your money, please.
    Check the review if you have 5 mins of time. Singleplayer wasn't so bad, just mediocre, the REAL edning was horrible though. The starting scene was copied from MW2, just youtube "ghosts mw2 copy". Multiplayer is has some issues: 1. Not that much weapon and attachments variety (less weapons than in prev.     Multiplayer is has some issues:
    1. Not that much weapon and attachments variety (less weapons than in prev. games), no proficiencies, little to NO weapon customization costs squad points). And still around 10% of the weapons are ok. In every class there's one good weapon, and 3 just for the sake of a "variety". In simple TDM you need absolutely no attachments, one good weapon, secondary are also unnescessary, nades and tacticals should also be switched for perk slots, it's really useless.
    2. Perk system works fine but there still no that much impact on the game (for example, full Specialist in MW3 was a Rambo, but here, it's just an OKAY bonus, IMO).
    3. Experience system is nedlessly complicated so it would take more time to advance. There's no reason to torture yourself with it. LVLing up does absolutely nothing, the challenges are ridiculous. You have a customization option but you can't really unlock anything so well. It's easier to hack squad points, but everything you might need and play. Camos unlocks are also bad, IMO.
    4. Squads are useless. I don't know about the clans, cause I play alone, maybe it's ok. Extinction is okay. Co-op survival is ok, but it's hard to find a server, nobody plays it.
    5. Maps are ok, with some exceptions. There are two bad maps, Stonehaven for it's campy design and Siege cause it's like 5x size of a normal map, at times you can't even find a single enemy for minutes.
    6. Killstreaks. Support streaks have 3 good items: SATcom, Ammo crate for fun and the Vests. Everything else is useless. Assault is good only for a heli, sometimes a dog can come in handy, but it dies fast. Maniac is also fun though. Not that much to choose from. 1/2 good combinations of Support and Assault ones. Specialist is a waste of kills.
    Overall: it's a half of an overpriced DLC for MW3.
    An OK singleplayer campaign. (amazing if you compare it to Battlefield 4).
    Less variety and combinations, nothing to experiment with in multiplayer.
    No reason to LVLup. No reason to get better.
    For a true fan of series, it gets boring in about 2-3 days.    … Expand

I didn't care for Black Ops II and heard horrible things about Ghosts but I thought I'd give it the benefit of the doubt and go ahead and get it on sale. Shame on me for thinking that! What a complete steaming pile of retched garbage.     The game is not optimized for PC (I am running an Intel i3570K at 3.4Ghz, GTX770, 16 Gigs of RAM, and Windows 7 booting on a 120 GB SSD, and cannot prevent microstutter in this game!).

    Infinity Ward thanks for the Dog Hair physics update, but seriously.
    Spend a week fixing your bait-and-switch of a game instead of coding new advertisements trying to trick us into paying you another $60 for your map packs.

    Treyarch gets my money from now on.

    I loved COD4 MW2 and the Black Ops series. But this, this is completely unexpected. I'm just gonna sum it up like this. If you so desperately want to play this game PIRATE it!! Complete waste of money. You want an online shooter play BF4. No im not a fan boy, BF4 is just the better game regardless of what IGN says

    Just like MW3, Ghosts has proven itself as a horribly failed Call of Duty game. Bringing nothing new to the franchise, it also takes away smooth and stable gameplay of older CoD games to a buggy, unfinished, terribly optimized piece of overrated trash. This 28,5 GBs joke of a game is only good for laughs to the incredibly silly quicktime events.

    Ghosts can probably be described as an full step back from Black Ops II and that's putting it lightly. There is no reason to delve into the specifics as most of the other users have already explained it all. This simply is a disappointing and nearly unplayable game.....

    Activision clearly thinks their customers are fools who will buy the game regardless of what they do. A next gen game using an 11 year old modified quake engine. So much for all the "we are building a new engine". Adding some poor lighting effects (google ghosts two suns lighting) and upping polygon count doesn't equal a new engine.     Im so glad I didnt get this game because its so bad, also it has nothing on Bioshock aka the best replyable game of all time. You can get the triple pack for £20 at the humble store or wait until the steam sale for it to be cheap

    The game is total crap! I loved the features in BO2 like the Cinema etc. And also the Gameplay in older Call of Duty's was MUCH better! And now...it's just a step back. But not one small, but more a huge step back! Bad Graphics, Bad Gameplay, and lame single-player.

Past-gen graphics, horrible gameplay, nothing new compared to the versions before, it's just painfully repeated. I'm only giving a 2 because the development team worked hard copying the 3d models. Why did i spent 60 euros on this...... game, it actualy hurts to call this a game. Looking out for Titanfall and hope the trailers for the next cod won't be so high quality so i may actualy resist buying it.     Awful mission design check.
    Worst performance to graphics ratio check.
    By FAR the worst plot for a "story" in ANY game I've ever played check.

    Nothing good to report for this game. If you never played any CoD game and want to buy it- don't pay more than $5 for it.

    The guns just didn't keep me interested like they did in BO2. None were really special or great, they're all kind of mid-level. To add on this, there isn't really a reason to stick with your favorite gun since you can just buy all of the attachments instead of actually leveling and prestiging your gun. And you can't get camo for your secondary. But hey, you can access your clan via iPad so that's just a revolutionary step forward.
    I didn't bother with the campaign because I don't care about the campaign. They made the maps bigger to try to compare with BF4. I didn't like this.
    Extinction is like Zombies, and it's fun until you beat it once. After that its just boring.

    Performance issues: While I run every other game I've ever played on the highest settings with no issues, I have to run Ghosts on low-very low on every setting. Anything above that and the game freezes/seizes/fps issues etc.
    I bought BO2 for full price as well, and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I put in over 500 hours on the game. I have about 20 hours on Ghosts and I've actually uninstalled it. It's not worth the huge size, and it SURELY is not worth the $60. I have made the decision that I will be switching over to Battlefield next release, and I wish all COD gamers the best.    … Expand

    have played all the COD's and this is the worst by a long way. inane story in singleplayer. dog makes multiplayer too uneven but worst of all the graphics. COD 1 had better graphics FFS. never again.

    So let me get this straight, I got my COD GHOST yesterday and i was excited, but when it was time to install it i was HORRIFIED!!! They wanted me to download 7.5 GB for story mode and then 24.3 GB for Multiplayer!!!! At the moment it has been a day since i started to install Call of Duty Ghost and it has not even completed installing Story mode and i still have to install Multilayer AtSo let me get this straight, I got my COD GHOST yesterday and i was excited, but when it was time to install it i was HORRIFIED!!!     SLI-videocards still aren't patched. People that play with cards such as the GTX590 (a few years ago a flagship) for example, can't play this game normally without all the textures flickering.

    To prove this game is even more a console rip-off: If you put a xbox controller in your PC, you would get aim assist.....

    Well, the multiplayer is one big joke. They overcimplicated the perk system, deleted the imense popular game mode "search and destroy" and replaced it with a lame version of it. This means that the game hasn't got a single one "no respawn" game mode. Also lag is still an big issue, especially when you play with parties. The game randomly crashes and in my case the game delivers every 30 minutes max a bluescreen of death.

    Well with so much wrong and almost 2 months after launch you should have expected some patches that fixed some of these things. Especially because they promised better PC-support. Now what exactly of what I described above did they patch? Nothing, not a single THING. nada noppes zilch.

    IW has lost a fan this year, better wait for BO3 guys, atleast Treyarch puts some effort in the PC version... And while all these problems in Ghosts continue the team over at IW is laughing their asses of and already making trailers for their "DLC" wich is probably going to be just as bad as the game.

    For IW: If you want to make a respected game, simply listen to the PC community. But even if the entire community screams of horror about your game. you guys will still change nothing. Maybe this will help you renember: You make the game for the people right? So why don't you listen to the people? It's more becoming a hobby for you guys to make worse games every year.    … Expand

    The game is fun, but lacking. Elements of epic but now IW (the devs Infinity Ward) are ripping of Black Ops II's zombies with the Extinction mode. Sad.

    This game is the most disappointing piece of garbage on the planet earth. I liked Modern Warfare 2, and I liked Black ops 1, Black ops 2 wasn't worth playing, and this? This is terrible. The graphics are the same or worse than MW2, the maps are repulsive, and the gameplay hasn't improved. I am no longer a Call of Duty fan, and I will never buy another Call of Duty game.

    This is the worst cod i have ever played. singelplayer is ok but multiplayer is unplayable. lots of pc features missing for ex FOV and sound setting. The game lags like hell no matter how good your rig is.
    It is capped att 92fps witch is verry easy to reach because the graphics is terrible eaven on the highest settings. Do NOT buy this game u will regret it. 60$ down the toilet

The game doesn't look, "Next-Gen". The game looks washed out, and some of these textures are downright ugly and hideous. Some of them are so bad that I feel like I'm playing a game on a PS2!
    If you want to get this game, you should wait for the price to drop... Activision please. Thankfully, I only got this game for $40 plus tax. Which isn't bad at all.

    This is quite a good arcade shoter game, but they kept the same gameplay for too long, and the only changes brought for 4 years are "this can level up, you can customize this a bit more" and that's all. That's what I expect when I buy DLCs or expansion packs, not a brand new game. Also, the skins dlc are what I expect in a free-to-play game, not a game I paid 60 €, I know that you don't need to buy them, but when you take a weapon from one's guy that you saw because -let's face it- you see those weapons from a mile away, you feel pity for the guy who paid for it.

    The singleplayer campaign is just like any COD singleplayer campaign. You don't get the feeling that you are the underdog that much. Speaking of dog, they really did put one in the game to say "if you don't like this single player campaing it's because you don't like cute dogs".

    Overall, this game feels like Activision stopped aiming at the pc market and aims at console fanboys who didn't see (yet) the same game with different models for 10 years.    … Expand

    free weekend with GHOST from steam sounds good. I tried to play this ehmm "game". Graphic is worse. I feel black ops 2 was much better. I way trying to play few games to change my opinion. Nope, nothing happened. I've no idea who can like trash like this. Don't waste your time and money for this garbage. One of the worst CoD ever! I filled me sick.

    This game is terrible, Bad host connections, terrible FPS even with mid to high end computer, the ram required is 6gb while the game only uses 2gb. Maps suck, lowering graphics makes it look terrible, bad spawns. This game needs an update.

I also bought BF4 but I already know they are taking the time to make the game run smooth as they had an open beta. This makes me wonder if the developers of IW know what they are doing.     - Field of View is locked at 65 degrees, no slider like in BF4 or Black Ops 2.

    - No multi-screen Eyefinity/surround gaming support

    - No Ping displayed in multiplayer.

    - No Search Preferences selection what-so-ever. You will not know you are in a laggy game into you watch your Killcam Replay and realize you show up on your opponents screen much earlier than he does on yours.

    - Lots of freezes and crashes. Some are recoverable crashes to desktop, others are BSOD and reboot the computer.

    -FPS cap'd at 91fps

    -6gb ram requirement even though it uses less than 2gb of system ram

    -Memory leaks everywhere

    Do yourself a favor an wait to see if Activision Infinity Ward fixes this title before you buy. One look on the COD PC discussion forum and you will know the truth.    … Expand

    AI i have filling that they wanted to create a feeling that there are soldiers on your team and not all enemy's focus on u (thou tanks have only one aim kill you which is plain stupid but this resulted in enemy's not wanting to kill you. Graphics well games are not about graphic but this title have nothing else so i will say few words about it. It s not bad dynamic lighting looks awesome. Some other effects are pretty cool to can't complain but then comes the textures i recently played HL2 and textures were i want say better but more appealing.(almost 10 years of "progress"). fixing FOV at 65 why do that i can not find any justification for that. I played game on the best settings i were i can not imagine how it looks on lower settings.
    MP well it's pretty much average COD MP. I really enjoy maps they are good. but why 6 people not 8 it would be better since maps seams a bit to big for 12 players only. lvl system is pretty descent maybe there is too much sprayers thou well its cod after all.

    i'd probably give mp a try and play it more. But definitely not coming back to SP.

    From the stuttering happening in the menu to the poor texture quality this game was not worth 60$. You cannot change your FOV and you will find yourself killed by shots out of your field of view. The game was poorly optimized for Pc I expected much more for the requirements. I rate this 1/10 because I'd feel like an idiot if I gave it 0 after spending 60$.

Features are disincluded, for others. I.E. Vision distance can't be changed, for the whole "dual rendering" on snipers. The dual rendering is more pointless than having camos for the damn dog, which acts brain damaged. When you aim down the scope, the "amazing" world around you is rendered twice, then blurred out, so you get to see green blotches in all their glory. The engine is not, in any way, "next-gen." Battlefield 4 runs better than this. I'm not some Battlefield fanboy either, I have appreciation for both of the series. I'd rather have bought Black ops 2 than this garbage. The audio settings (read: SETTING, AS IN ONE) is comprised of a master volume bar. So no, I can't turn down the crap music, so I can listen for footsteps. At this point, BF4 is better at being CoD than CoD. The weapon selection is crap. I've seen more guns in a point-and-shoot. The perks feel non-existent. Everyone else says the story mode is poop, so why bother. I give it a 1, as I gave one f*ck to write this review. Don't buy this Activision is half-assing it now.     We were promised dedicated servers, instead we got peer to peer this seems nothing more than MW3 with a pretty wrapper over it. And by the 4th day, the same hackers who were around in MW3 are back, standing in the middle of the map getting head-shot after head-shot, with scores like 38 for 0 and there is nothing anyone can do about it. Hackers and lag. This game is intrinsically broken.

    I don't know why everybody yelling about how this game sucks but I really enjoyed it. This is NOT a simulation though, and the action part is very impressive. I have 8GB memory and GTX-460 and I have played on high setting very smoothly. I know this is not a perfect game but it's not 0 neither.

    The gameplay also has huge problems. The flinch is extremely strong and the weapons are overpowered. This means that the first person to hit the target will win every duel, and you will die without a chance to react, over and over again. Because there are no dedicated servers and huge ping differences, combining with the op weapons, playing is extremely frustrating.

    The character customization is ridiculously complicated. To unlock challenges you have to have "operations" active, which means that you will take years unlocking challenges you would have otherwise completed many times. What kind of imbecile came up with that idea? And of course there is widespread hacking. Here in Europe there are now hackers, not just wallhackers, but aimbotters in almost every other game and nothing is being done about it. I bought every COD, but this is the last one. I hope this review can change someones mind about buying this game. If they lose most of their PC customers Activision would care enough to start fixing the issues, but I doubt it.     BTW, all the game modes are available in core mode, but in hardcore you only get 3. Very F'n lame IW!. And you can't use the "Free Fall" map in hardcore either as of now.

    The only i'll give this game is that the maps are very nice, but that's all this game gets from me. Over powered dogs and your typical crappy lag compensation makes this game almost unplayable. Even high end PC's struggle to play this game evenly at normal settings.

I thought I was never going to have my PC back. But if your really desperate for some fast mindless action and don't mind a bit of BS then be my guest and go for it. All I'm saying is that they better produce something pretty damn fine next year otherwise there profits might dwindle. Anyway I'm sticking to COD4 and MW2 for now.… Expand

Don't bother spending your money on another one of these assembly line made games. They think they can just pour all their money into the graphics department, but that is not how games should be made.

    This game is a clone to all the other modern warfare games. The PC version is practically unplayable due to the amount of bugs and almost non existent optimisation. The singleplayer story made me question humanity as a species because of how stupid it is. Dont buy this game unless you want to torture somebody.

    messed with settings for 70 hours of multi-player.
    The game would run 75-90 fps max
    but feel like 8-10 fps.

All of these were so big that they took the Modern Warfare ones and duplicated them enough to make 4 "sequels," with one new release every year. In the big move to Next-Gen consoles, what do we get? Nothing. ILet's face it. Modern Warfare was an awesome game. In fact, MW1 was so great that they continued the series with World at War. After another big success, we got a second MW2. All of these were so big that they took the Modern Warfare ones and duplicated them enough to make 4 "sequels," with one new release every year. In the big move to Next-Gen consoles, what do we get? Nothing. I seriously took this game and checked in across from MW2, and to be honest, it looks like some really popular modder's "MW2 Advanced." It seriously doesn't even have enough changes to it to make it a great sequel. Speaking of which, has anyone heard of "CoD: Advanced Warfare?" It's already queued for release in November.

    Aside from that, the port is awful. It's clunky, it's badly optimized, it takes 40 GB of space (enough to install 3 Total War games and Battlefront II), and it still has bad graphics. It's just a bad game in general.

    Why does it not have a flat-out zero? It got one point because I really liked CoD 1-5, and even 6 a little bit. It also got one more point because they're not the only ones doing this. They're following suit with Battlefield, and even Assassin's Creed and Dead Space now. The fact that we find more from independent developers than we do AAA is just all around a horrible thing.     Just played it on steam for free weekend. But deleted it after 5 minutes of playing. The graphics are so bad, cod 4 looks better. I also had fps drops, and to connect to a game it takes ages.

The game is also extremely awfully optimized for PC as very few people are able to get a solid frame rate in multiplayer.     The series is showing its age. COD is dated and just doesn't stack up well to other PC FPS games. It lacks the eye candy of BF, the teamplay and innovation of Natural Selection 2, the classic and balanced feel of Counter Strike:GO, the sheer fun of Hawken, and worst off all Blacklight retribution is for all purposes a better COD then Ghosts.

    now lest: squads: well i didnt play it that much but from what i played it isnt that bad, but it isnt as good either and it gets the game 0.5 point so for now we have 1.5/10 but i will give it a 2/10 because i am giving it a 0.5 point on the gameplay that wasnt that bad it was ok compared to bo2. so for conclousin a 2/10 dont buy ghosts unless you will find it with 5$ price which whould probably whouldnt happaned, but bf4 and i am reccomending it even to cod player that think the same as i think on ghosts, i was a cod fan much more than battlefield but with this against the best fps i have ever played (bf4) it doesnt stand a chance, infinty ward once was my favorite dev for cod but with bo2 release last year that was a treyarch game and was the best in the franchise from my opinion, and then a year later the worst cod in the series from my opinion was developed by infinity ward treyarch became my favorite devs for cod, so a 2/10 and even cod fans buy bf4 instead of this crap, i am a huge cod fan and i much enjoyed bf4 than ghosts so i think that even you (cod players) will enjoy bf4 and will preffer it from ghosts.    … Expand

    This game is complete You literally can't play the game without 6gb of RAM. If you try an error comes up saying there's been a fatal error, even though the game only needs 2gb of RAM when its settings are maxed out. I will not be giving this game a good review unless they patch that artificial RAM requirement. I only get to play the singleplayer and that's only because someone cracked it.

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. This is the latest installment of the call of duty series, it has a new engine that is beautiful but in the same time odd. I was impressed by the particle effects (from the grenades etc) but what disappointed me was the story. It was weak, I didn't feel like it was something to me. It didn't feel I cared about anyone in the "Ghosts". In the beginning when you are being dragged to the car you can remember that animation from MW2 ending which is a CTRL C CTRL V like. Graphics overall is a 7/10 for me since it's unoptimized as The single-player as I said was weak, I would give it a 5/10. There was one scene when Logan and Hesh's father showed who he really was. Then Hesh said "Wait you are from the ghosts" in a stupid, horrific bad way. So I can say that the voice acting is a bit i'll give it a 6/10.
    Multiplayer is, of course the same thing every time. Just with new weapons, maps, AND SPAWNS that will literary piss you off so much the same way I have done the last two days...
    Conclusion: The game does not deserve its price tag at 59.99 Euros. It's not worth the money and wait till it's on sale if you want it. This is a big disappointment as the trailer looked good. Avoid the game until sales. I am giving this game a 4/10 because of some good improvements but still negative sides win.    … Expand

    This game is not made for PC. No shooting skills needed, the gun shoot exactly where you want it to shoot. Which may be a plus for new pc players but should also have recoil on weapon for more experienced players.
    Nice step up in graphics from last COD. Can now be part of the new gen graphics games.

No shooting skills needed, the gun shoot exactly where you want it to shoot. Which may be a plus for new pc players but should also have recoil on weapon for more experienced players.
    Nice step up in graphics from last COD. Can now be part of the new gen graphics games.

    Honestly this game is exactly what you expect.Another call of duty game with nothing changed(except maps). What i cant understand is how this game is much heavy.Its even heavier than battlefield 4 playing on 64-player map.Read this party AGAIN.Its true.The game needs better pc than any other game does.I recently bought a 1300$ rig and it still lags in the beginning of the game till itsHonestly this game is exactly what you expect.Another call of duty game with nothing changed(except maps).
