    I am a Call of Duty player and this Call of duty is the worst Call of Duty i've ever played.
    the map design is poor the graphics looks like a game from 2008.
    The game has no FoV changer, you cant configure your Sensitivity normally (choose a number but only a slider). No dedicated servers, no console.

    just a bad game feels like i spent my money on a big garbage game.

    The graphics are even worse than the transition from Cod 2 to 3. I am so glad I didn't buy any of the map packs or expansions. This will be the last CoD I ever buy. I mean honestly PayDay 2 has better graphics. (i agree)

    Why I payed for this?I will never buy CoD.I have 6gb RAM, but game says, that I haven't enough RAM.

    Call of duty did it again:
    Releasing the same game which naive people will buy again.
    It is a very disappointing game if you played the series for a long time.
    It has almost no innovation at all. The highly praised by the marketing team next gen engine is just a bit prettier than MW3. Single player is decent, but only if you don't get tired of linear map design.

    We have been dooped again from I W. The players still wobble when they run, graphics on highest setting is awe-ful. Has the feeling of the old game with a new map. The physics are crap too. Im pretty sure I will never own another piece of call of duty anything. I am tired of them getting rich off of people like me who work hard and end up with a rummage sale item.

    Game is terrible. Servers are laggy and the multiplayer stinks. As other people have stated the ports suck and they probably just copied the game from consoles. Well looks like I spent $60 for a campaign game I will stick to battlefield from now on lesson learned on this release. Oh and the graphics are terrible.. Your pistol looks ridiculous.     Awful campaign. Inferior graphics. This is freaking same old game. In summary, pure piece of crap. This ruins the whole COD franchise. 'Ghosts' needs to be busted. It should be executed in the market.

    It's not a bad game, it got a good gameplay, good graphics, good gamemodes BUT (besides the graphics and the Maps) nothing changed... It's just a money-making game right now...

    There is alot of lag, in multiplayer.. ..so quite abit of immersion kill.. even if your rig is well spec'ed not everyone else would be.. so try shooting someone who glitches not quite so fun.. like as if they appear out thin air.. probably where the title got its name??!

    Not running properly on my PC. They need to optimize the game. I buy this game to see how it is compared to my favorite game Battlefield. Going back to battlefield. Hope they will improve CoD performance on PC.

    The Multiplayer is always the same as in other CoD Titles it´s like you buying a 59$ DLC for your Call of Duty 4 .

    6 Gb RAM in requirements is also a problem i saw better graphics with less RAm ^^

    The worst COD ever!!! A lot of bugs, heavy (fps drops in my gtx 660 ti ftw), mouse sensitivity problems and no dedicated server or theater. Graphics are a deception (if you compare with MW2 or MW3).

    Activision release a beta game to the market.

    The multi-player on this game is a mess. To get it working correctly the use of 3rd party plugin's is required, but by using these plugins you will run the risk of your account being banned. This is supposed to be a next gen game but it doesn't support sli. Even the steam overlay is not recommended with this game. Takes another    Activision release a beta game to the market.

    The game does a great job!... of doing the same thing with the Cod 4 engine that IW did with the other CoD games. Disgustingly bad singleplayer paired with poor graphics and too much of an emphasis on multiplayer make this game an obvious miss for those looking for a truly good time.

    So I bought the Hardened edition, had to buy a new graphics card, and 3 days later I was really looking foward to finally play the game, but what a disappointment, this is by far they worst COD ever released.     Most people talk about graphics and technical things like that for a game, for me, I like to think about Game play. The single player was fun but really short( finished in one session) so no points there as it it did not have that want more feeling like other games. Even high end PCs struggle to run Ghosts at a decent FPS. There are also loads of small annoying things such as FOV sliders and bugs that really p*** me off. This game and cod black ops 2 have spike lag issues and REALLLY crappy graphics. i can run battefield 3 on ultru 30 fps no problem. but this game with its blurry textures and awful graphics somehow spike lags and makes it impossible toThis game is awful and a waste of space and time to download.     Miserable.

    The most miserable game in the series, and the most miserable PC port in the series.
    The game can barely be run on a decent PC machine, constant stuttering, probably because of the complex fly and fish AI. Pathetic game, not even worth buying for 1$ in a humble bundle.

    Call of Duty: Ghosts has received a lot of unfairly negative reviews. Yes it's more of the same, but it's still pretty good. Especially since the engine has been upgraded. There's various gamemodes, maps, weapons and perks as always, which lends the game its replayability. As for how it compares to Battlefield: Battlefield was always a little bit overwhelming, whereas Call of Duty is aCall of Duty: Ghosts has received a lot of unfairly negative reviews. Sure Battlefield has a far more advanced engine, but the very engine which is supposedly making it better is also bringing it closer to a simulator - and some of us want little more that a simple yet realistic shooter that meets certain standards - which Ghosts exactly does. It doesn't break new ground or deliver kick ass visuals, but by the standards of Call of Duty, Ghosts suffices. The question is simply whether Call of Duty is your cup of tea or not, and whether its standards are high enough for you. Or whether you're a hateful punk.… Expand

    The only reason Infinity Ward did this is because they put the PS3 and Xbox 360 version above all else and    I had to stop playing the excellent campaign after a couple of hours due to becoming very nauseus by the "horse blinker" view they've artificially imposed on us PC players.     The only reason Infinity Ward did this is because they put the PS3 and Xbox 360 version above all else and since these crappy old consoles can't handle the graphics they have to lower the FOV. That's well and good but if they allow higher FOV on PC the screen shots will look too good side by side with console versions and the fanbois won't be happy to shell out for a copy on PS or Xbox and will just blame them for not optimizing it enough.

    Well screw you! My 3570K with 8GB RAM and HD7870 is waaaayyyy more powerful than that and doesn't even break a sweat on highest graphic settings with 100 FOV. Why should I be limited??

    At least BF4, with its less than entertaining single player has a FOV slider all the way to 120 degrees. And kick ass graphics on PC!    … Expand

    Product quality is much, much better. The script is better than a stupid black ops, human models and levels a million times better, good shaders. Directing excellent. Action scenes are excellent. In general, one can see that this is not trash, and this time, people were trying to do better.

    I like call of Duty, and I like ghosts, but one problem I found was the lack of actual ghost warfare. I would have loved to enter an old mansion with spooky ghosts inside and blast them with machine guns. Normally I feel sad shooting people in these games (even if they are bad guys I still feel weird about it) but if they were ghosts I wouldn't mind really. I do like having the dogI like call of Duty, and I like ghosts, but one problem I found was the lack of actual ghost warfare. I would have loved to enter an old mansion with spooky ghosts inside and blast them with machine guns. Normally I feel sad shooting people in these games (even if they are bad guys I still feel weird about it) but if they were ghosts I wouldn't mind really. I do like having the dog though. Although I would have liked it to be able to morph into snoop dog and go to a BBQ with your friends after the game. That's just my opinion though. Overall not a bad game.… Expand

    What a fail of EPIC proportions. Tried to play this game, got a sudden warning I needed to get more RAM! Not only did I have to buy a new laptop for this, it wasn't fun in the slightest (no new improvements on previous entries in the series, all the same old stale run and shoot gameplay) and the game didn't even end up utilizing the full 8GB I have now. What's the deal with that?

    This game left me speechless.
    I expected a minor graphical improvement, well, let's say we have it, but it came with a HUGE performance drop, my rig (Phenom II 965BE, HD7950) runs BF4 on ultra at 30-40 fps.

    Do not buy this game for PC. This is the buggiest game I've ever played. First I couldn't play due to a graphics card error which I was able to fix. Then it wouldn't unlock any loadouts for me to play the game, which is a known common error that they don't give a about.

    The textures are still a bit buggy and you need to have a great computer to run the game that is not crazy beautiful, but the story is great, the extinction mod is really fun and the multiplayer is also great. I recommend it to the people who loved MW2 and to people that like fps in general.

    The single player campaign although a little unrealistic and over-exaggerated is entertaining and absorbing. I enjoyed the gunfights and the mixing it up with the dog, tanks, space, choppers, ships, etc. I found the campaign a little too short to justify the $60.     Ok now about the game:

    Single Player

    The Dog
    The single player doesn't show a very clear story line and jumps a little from one to the other story. It isn't a straight story line. The way how they introduce us to the dog is really nice. I felt moments that I really wanted to fight harder to safe the dog. Ofcourse if you don't like dogs this is different.

    The Intel
    Easier to find this time and a want to try.

    The Graphics.
    I don't see the problem with the graphics. We have always known that battlefield has better graphics. Cod is more a feeling and a lot of gameplay fun.

    If I look back to Call of Duty 1
    I really miss the bunnyhopping ;)
    They worked against the bunnyhopping and you can't jump easy away like in previous versions.

    Sliding and climbing over walls while shooting.
    A more lifelike feeling is that you now can utilize your weapon while your doing things and it doesn't just show only your hands.

    The Clan feature and Team
    You now can create your own team and combat with them against others.
    Also you can use your friends created team to help you out.
    The clan is something you create yourself with your know friends. Ofcourse I think that cod is still one of the best in you wanting to play with your friends together.

    Multiplayer.
    At this moment I think that the needed requirements to play cod mp is a little to high. People are using cracks to be aible to play the game on lower then 6gb ram. Also the high Graphic Card needs are a little over the top. This brings a lot of problems ingame at this moment. I needed to upgrade from two 460 gtx sli to 1 760 GTX. Ok the cards are 3 years old but then still I think they should work good. This ofcourse has to do with my own money I want to pay to play. This is also the only thing that gives me a -1 thought.     When the release day came I was like most people all excited to play, but to my utter disappointment the game had so many issues that it was almost impossible to play despite my pc specs being way above anything that a Call Of Duty game could ever require with it's engine.

    The first thing I was greeted by was Blue Screens Of Death as soon as I launched the campaign, multiplayer, squads and extinction modes and I honestly thought there was something wrong with my hardware or drivers, but no it was nothing to do with that as I launched each part of the game again and they launched without a issue.

    However what then greeted me was lag on the menu system, I mean come on how poor does the coding of the game have to be if it is lagging on the menu system so bad, that it takes 10 minutes to change a few graphical options from low to high, and to change a few key bindings.

    I pushed on though and eventually after 30 minutes from initially trying to get in to the game, I was able to get in to my very first game of Call Of Duty Ghosts and oh my what a sight!

    It was so glorious to look at a game that, was released in 2013 and see the same graphical quality of a game that was released in 2002 that I had to sit back and just marvel at the improvements that had been made in 11 years, I mean the details looked like they were made by people in there in there first year of game development school, and I must say here and now I am not a game developer nor do I have the skill, ability or time to develop a game but seeing the likes of the Unreal and Crytek SDK are available I may have to look in to developing a game, since I don't think I could do much worse than this disaster that is called Call Of Duty Ghosts.

    I played my first game though and I stunk really bad, nearly every single bullet I shot at people didn't register. I was left wondering to myself is this another Black Op's 2 where the higher the ping you have the better your experience is, and I thought it cannot be the same we are supposed to be on Dedicated Servers and Infinity Wards net coding is always better than Treyarchs, so I left that game and joined another only to find the same thing happened.

    At this point I played some of the campaign, but thanks to the crashes and the reseting of saves so I had to start the levels all over again each time I completed a level, so I gave up on that and left it alone.

    By this point I was pretty much ready to call it quits on this game, but I though no I have paid good money for this game so lets give it a try.

    I went back on to multiplayer only to be greeted by yet more lag on the menu system, bullets not registering and lag in the multiplayer games themselves, and I thought to myself wtf is going on, why are the servers lagging and then bang "lost connection to host" and I was thrown out of dreamland and in to reality, the game is not using dedicated servers it's using the peer to peer system called IWnet, the lag infested, cheating paradise with no admins to clear the cheaters out.

    I then tried another couple of games to see if it was a mistake or someone was running a hack that allowed them to host games, but no the next couple of days proved we are not on dedicated servers.

    The official call of duty forums for the pc gamers are flooded with reports of cheaters, bugs, requests and all sorts of other things, but the developers seem to not be interested in that or even letting people know they are aware of the issues instead, all you here from them is "xbox this, xbox that"

    At the moment this game is a complete disaster, my pc should be walking all over this game but no it's lagging, stuttering and crashing and with no hope in sight I think this will be the last call of duty game I buy again.

    The game by January will have less players than Black Op's 2 and that had the lowest player count of any call of duty game to date, and Black Op's 2 at this point in it's life had double the pc players that ghosts has now.

    Infinity Ward have not only released a sub par product to the consumers, but they are also not supporting the consumers.

    Infinity Ward stated this game would be the best looking call of duty game to date on the pc, but Modern Warfare 2 looks better. Infinity Ward said the game would use dedicated severs but it's not.

    All I can say is do not contemplate buying this on the pc as it's just unplayable in it's current state!    … Expand

    Game is just total **** the worst CoD I have ever played I mean seriously! The maps are too big, 6 vs 6 on current-gen console! battlefield is much better in every way! I mean how could you see one just ONE that is better in Battlefield! This game is just complete garbage... I have said enough.

    A dog touched me and i died, and can't express how amazing that is, i mean the fact the dog even touched me is quite impressive. Infinity ward really proved them selves worthy of making games.

    This is one of the worst games ever created in the history of man-kind. I would suggest Battlefield 4 or counterstrike as an alternative. This game doesn't even deserve a 0.

Honestly its not really new, but plays decently enough that its worth completing it.
    Second the Multiplayer: The multiplayer is absolutely amazing, one of the best in the entire COD series. The new graphics engine is clearly visible, and it doesn't even look like a call of duty, engine wise. The new modes are awesome, there are no latency issues, kill streaks are more easily obtainable, but are less over powered, It feels more fluid, and the map designs are phenomenal. While it's not COD 4 or COD 2 level awesome, its far better than the 2 previous games, and it gives MW2 a run for its money. Its Polished, fresh, not laggy, and all around more enjoyable.
    Third, Extinction: First off Extinction, in my eyes, is not as fun as Zombies, but its still pretty freaking awesome. It feels kind of like Black Ops: Zombies, Left 4 Dead, and Payday 2 all had a three-way and came up with this. Extinction is an objective based alien-shooter, you drill out these giant blob-pod things and hold off against aliens in the process. You can upgrade your soldier w/ skill points, and by defense systems like turrets, and explosives. All in all, while it doesn't live up to Black Ops: Zombies, its still a fantastic first attempt from infinity ward.
    Ultimately this game is what the Call of Duty series needed, its polished, mostly fresh, latency issue free, and hugely enjoyable, unless that is you hate the Call of Duty series, and wont give it a chance (like most of the other reviews on here).

    I think people are confused to why they hate Call Of Duty. I believe the reason you hate it is because you think it is ruining the gaming industry when it is just its own game series that has done nothing wrong (Out side of their series) its the developers trying to make their games like Call Of Duty that are ruining their own games and their own series to try and win over some of the Call Of Duty players when I think that if they did something different that Call Of Duty this might bring them over as its not just more Call Of Duty. So don't blame Call of Duty for your game series going to (Halo4 my opinion) blame the ones trying to make it like Call Of Duty.

    Give this game a try you might surprise yourself they did a good job this time round.

    If you can get past the boring American rhetoric, cheesy brotherly love and mad hatter (bonkers) story line I guarantee you will love this for what it is, which is a no holds barred, full on, OTT, escapist piece of gaming entertainment. And yes, I play all types of games, many of which are from Indie developers: Deadlight, Two brothers (one of my favourite games of this year), The Binding of Issac, The Bridge etc. etc.

    I think some of you should consider joining the console fan boy's and get a PS4/X-Box One this Christmas as your clearly not real PC gamers. Love to know if anyone else agrees with me on this thrilling (if not exactly ground breaking) game.

    Love the addition of dogs.

    Game is so intuitive with dogs and fish. Only complain I have is they left out the possibilty to add armor and stuff on the dog. Would also like to customize the dog more, like different hair and fur on it, pick some neat colors and so on.

    If they add more animals i will give it an 8 or 9, good job IW

    Absolutely fantastic new innovative Fish AI. The fish actually move out of your way when you swim towards them. Mind blowing. Another brilliant addition to the greatest video game series of all time. Also, dogs.

    I dunno why there are so many haters here. The game is awesome! Part in space is soooo cool!! Especially after seeing gravity movie.
    I agree with: I would say this game is the best installment in COD series, and even a potential candidate of game of the year.

    Why does this have such a low score? Call of Duty: Ghosts is the best Call of Duty yet. Graphics are greatly improved, larger maps, a LOT of customization, smoother gameplay. I'm having tons of fun playing it.

Sure, Ghosts made a $1 billion in one day head start, but that was just retail, not even the actual consumer purchase. The entire single player campaign is completely forgettable as the big moments are just rehashed bits of the previous games.     Unplayable mess, the game looks like sh*t and isn't optimised for PC: stuttering, low framerates, constant crashes, poor controls and all this from a company that's supposed to be at the top of their field and rakes in a billion dollars per title. I feel like I've been scammed and want a refund. This is the last one I buy.

    Why do i play games? for fun... but theres no fun here... only frustration. Lag compensation is terrible. You spawn, die, sometimes faster then i you can read this. I was 50 in ranking in "Kill confirmed" mode, spend lot of hours to learn this game but in the end... i didnt found fun in it.
