    I am not trolling nor am i a punk kid, this game looks terrible, plays terrible, ai is abysmal im a campaign guy multiplayer is no fun anymore, between the cheaters and the punk kids, its just not worth it. The pc version is ridiculous, activision seems to not really care about the pc gamer in this one.     The graphics are even worse than the transition from Cod 2 to 3. I am so glad I didn't buy any of the map packs or expansions. This will be the last CoD I ever buy. I mean honestly PayDay 2 has better graphics. I thought it would be cool that you could customize a character and become a woman. I think thats the only improvement this game has made.

    Well, it's hideous even though I run it on high specs I run Battlefield 4 on ultra but I have to run this on high, what the I wanted to make a screenshot but steam doesn't let me do screenshots in this game probably because IW didn't want to see their BS get viral so more people buy this. IT LOOKS WORSE THAN BLACK OPS 2 AND RUN WORSE. SERIOUS HERE.
    It plays like It keeps crashing, lagging, kicking out of matches, freezing and what-not. Mouse-accel checked. Getting shoot from nowhere checked. Invincible lagged enemies- checked. Everything you can imagine is bad for an FPS game is there in force !!
    No FOV slider for PCs 60 FOV is about 1/3 of normal human FOV and 1/2 of what previous CoDs and every decent FPS there offers. It makes the game super-easy for campers, and you get continously shot from the sides and back. Of course there is FOV option in-game but IW decided to block that for PCs, probably because they hate PC players.
    Killstreak rewards are super-boring compared to the old cod games. Oracle system? Really, a built-in wallhack? You gotta be kidding me here IW. It's not exactly OP it is just extremely annoying when enemy got Oracle, and you (usually) don't know about it. Guard dogs that kill you from 6 meters? Lol and I thought the K9 was OP, and that was for almost 20 kills, not freaking 6 kills like in Ghosts. Every killstreak reward out there is either OP, or boring, or both. I don't realy have incentive to obtain them.
    The maps. Well the maps are bigger and I really like that. The dynamic element that was added is also good. Too bad they are still "1 step forward, 2 step backwards". Why? Because most of the maps are camper's heaven especially with 60 FOV madness. In BLOPS 2 campers were a rare occurance here they are on every server.
    No dedicated servers bad net-code. You are constantly thrown into lagged hell, or can't connect at all. Needless to say it's another middle finger pointed towards PC players by infinity ward.
    Squad mode is a joke, I am not sure why they put that in, it was a waste of time and code. Those are nothing more than bot matches, with crappy AI as usual, but they net you same XP as multiplayer matches. What the f... !?
    About the campaign, well it's barely playable, much more unstable than multiplayer. I managed to play through a large part of it, and it's the same as every CoD. A few new tricks here and there, but it's the same run'n'gun as always. Except it's even shorter, takes about 6 hours to beat if you are not constanly crashing like I do. 6 hours of decent fun for 60 Lol no thanks.

    Overall there are some good things to say about CoD. Like bigger maps or new game modes. But this is all nothing compared to massive problem cod has, caused by activision incredible level of greed and iw's hate towards PC players.
    Should you buy it If you are a dumb CoD fanboy, yes. If you are a CoD fan, No, you will be disappointed If you like FPS in general, No, stick to Battlefield or CS:GO or previous CoD games just not this one.
    My score to this piece of trash is 3/10, for an AAA game this is terrible, not worth half of that cash.    … Expand

    I bought this serie because I have all of Call Of Duty series. Also I missing "FOV" changer, dedicated server (but it is too much for infinityward). Very laggy game, when is bad host you can play like a best skiller on the world, but you dont have any chance to kill somebody.

    Don't waste your money on the PC version, way to many issues to mention. This was a poor port and a money grab. Although the consoles have tremendous hacker issues. The 10 star rating here was a plant for sure.

    What a pile of unoptimized crap. I cannot believe how bad this game runs, there are so many problems and its mess all over the place.
    As for the multiplayer, the maps are so boring and uninspired, it basically killed my interest to keep playing it. Also, this is IWnet fiasco all over again. Server crash, laggy hosts, half empty    Probably the worst CoD since CoD3 and Modern Warfare 3.

    4gb of RAM user here. I had to get a crack from some Russian kid to play SP. SP is your typical follow this NPC and do whatever he tells you uninspired crap. Set pieces look neat but 6gb of RAM? Nothing I have seen so far justifies this system requirement. Can't play MP but it's probably not that terrible. Battlefield 4 is a game with larger maps, dynamic destruction, vehicles, more4gb of RAM user here. I had to get a crack from some Russian kid to play SP.     So disappointing!!! Poor graphics, arcade gameplay. Bad storyline and you´ll finish it within 5-6 hours.
    Multiplayer is as everytime very bad. I just can´t tell you who Cod Ghosts needs almost 35 GB Hard Disc Space, it looks like a game from 2009. I´m so disappointed.

    Hell yeah i have 16GB Ram and had no problems with installation andor requirements. But... BUTT!
    Same game from greedy guys. Made game for consoles not for PC. I can't even name that "shooter" no aim, small maps, no skill.
    Wont buy any "CoD" games anymore.
    his is a step back from Black Ops 2 in almost every way. No FoV slider on PC version, or FPS cap setting, both of which were present in BO2. Bugs in MW3 that were addressed in BO2 are now somehow back in Ghosts, for example the random jumps in mouse sensitivity that happen if certain programs are running in the background (such as FRAPs). Theater mode, one of the best features of recent Call of Duty games, has been removed. Optimization wise, my computer runs Battlefield 4 on max settings at higher frame rates than Ghosts. Image quality defaults to 'high', which causes upscaling of resolution like a console game rather than rendering at your chosen resolution. Sound effects sound like they were taken straight from MW3.     Graphics are terrible, even worse then cod wow i would say. Players randomly teliport, the menu stutters cant even play single player because the cut scenes crash the game. Not optimized at all. They should be shot.

    If i can play bf4 maxed 60+ fps i should be able to play this pile of crap!

    Animations for the dog are sometimes terrible. Like he just floats down stairs. (so next gen!) Not only that, but they raised the specs on the pc for no reason to force ignorant people to buy    This game runs terrible.     Monumental crap, graphics are terrible but the download was 30Gb, that's like the game coming on 6 DVDs. Not sure what is included in that when the game looks so shocking.

    Best advice, avoid. Things like Metro: Last Light show what PCs are really capable of

    I do not recommend this game to noone. It is just waste of money. As single player is much more collorated then it could be that multi is much worst then other CoD tittles. Game just sucks in reality fighting. You can still be knifed out after sending few bullets to enemys chest

    I've played both ghosts and bf4 and ghost is just SO much more up and personal. And I don't understand what people are talking about when it comes to graphics, they are different and in my opinion, improved. No issues with frame rate or glitches here. I do enjoy bf4 but cod reminds me of quake for 2k.

    Utter disappointment. Cannot play the game without it crashing every 30 seconds. My machine is top-spec, 16GB of RAM, latest drivers etc. Rubbish. Get a patch out pronto!

    Worst game i've played in 14 years of gaming. So badly optimized for the PC that they should be ashamed. I have a gaming rig and it won't even run properly. I gave it a 1. Never ever again!!!

Gameplay suffers though regardless of fps, endless sprinting (everyone has marathon), camping abundant (no change from any other installment), and most guns more or less all feel the same, spare whatever flavor of attachments you choose. Maps are fun,Not a bad game by any stretch. Yes it's optimized for 64-bit, so update your 4 year old rig if you want to keep up. Looks great when you do. Gameplay suffers though regardless of fps, endless sprinting (everyone has marathon), camping abundant (no change from any other installment), and most guns more or less all feel the same, spare whatever flavor of attachments you choose. Maps are fun, and seem larger than average. I run constant fps, but still get stutters at the most inopportune time, which needs to be patched quickly. Mouse lag is fixable, just google the fix (its one line in your config, r_autopriority "0"). I give it a 6 because there's nothing new except different weapons and maps, with good graphics for beast rigs, but for your average gamer with a mid-range rig and not a lot of time to spare, might want to stick with CS:GO for your valuable FPS gaming time.… Expand

    The graphics looks like something from COD MW1, i mean the badness of the textures are amazing and do not get me started on the microstuddering. I regret using time and money on this and I will not be continuing with the COD franchise

Yeah, the old IW net gaming system that was shoved down our throats. The lag more often than not ruins this game. How bad is the lag? So bad, they include NO PING METER in game. The default setting in your config file allows you to join games so long as your ping is under 800 ms. Yes 800. There are no FOV settings, so you are stuck at the standard 65. Want to turn off music in game? Sorry, the only audio setting available is volume.

    But the multiplayer is where all the problems are.

    In this regard, Infinity Ward are plain liars.

    - terrible lags (I think others confuse them to be caused by lag compensation, but it's just regular good old lags. Get used to being shot dead at the frame you see the opponent the first time.)

    - umpleasant host migration

    - bad spawning position

    - prone is broken (You mostly can't go into prone or can't aim or move while in prone. Every small polygone around you seems to block you in this regard.)

    - losing complete conenction to a session (and by that all the unsaved kills and XP)

    - any teammate running near/next to you will block your movement, forcing you to go the wrong direction, simulating a really bad lag

    - your framerate can drop from a steady 90fps to a screen frozen for 3 seconds ramdomly at every moment

    - the "physics" are so bad, you constantly outcry in disbelief that what just happened made the the ragdoll behave like it did. Golden Eye 64 had more realistic looking deaths.

    - the Ripper (DLC weapon) feels like pay-2-win

    - your menu can have heavy, randome slowdowns

    - the audio is suttering

    - your mouse feels like it's skipping over the screen

    Even on a power-beast of a computer, this game runs like it's the leaked beta of Crysis 5.

    But the Graphics actually don't look that bad if you turn everything on ultra.
    It sure is o Battlefield 3, but I think it looks much better than Counter Strike : Global Offensive.

    It's really a shame, because if all those problems weren't, this game would have some nice multiplayer, and I would give it a 8/10.
    I really love the maps, the weapons and items, the mechanics and balancing, the game mods and timing. But it's just not playable. And Infinity Ward doesn't care about that. The game is out, they made some small patches, defended their lies and released some expensive DLC. Now they moved to their next project, leaving behind the idiots whom bought this game.

    This was the first CoD by Infinity Ward that I've bought.

    Not worth your time. 3+ year old graphics, yet it runs sluggish on a beast system. The game play is terrible, the team play is terrible, the story line is contrived, and obviously most of the props were reused from past games.

    The worst cod i have ever player, so under optimised, direct console port, plays so much worse than BO2, the style, system, hud, controls, gameplay, guns are all inferior and frankly awful in general. A mess of a game is an understatement. DO NOT BUY.

If I had a 3rd hand I would give this game 3 tumbs down 1) I cannot believe that they would release a game of this magnitude on the PC and have it be as buggy as it is. Weapon Texture Flickering (WTF!!!!) half of everything on my screen looked like a strobe light. The only way I could fix this was to disable Sli, which sucks because II have never been this disappointed in a game ever.     Big disappointment! Terrible game, not only that the demands are high and the optimization of evil. CoD should have come to an end after this section. I bought BF 4 and I do not regret the purchase, but also bought CoD: Ghost and I very much regret, never to chop.

    As for the dog. LOL. Half the time it looks like it's on a skate board. Terrible animation.

    In summary, this game looks bad, plays bad, and is just plain bad. Any publication giving it more than a 3 is simply not being honest. Next gen?! It looks like a game from 2008 with upgraded textures, and plays like one from...well...your worst nightmare. Do not pour your money down the drain. I have never before now purchased a game and felt like a refund. Call of duty Ghosts is RUBBISH.

I would say that Black Ops 2 actually had better graphics and i would even say that Bad Company 2 from 2010(!!!) had better Graphics. The only good thing is that it has 12 different play modes but that's it. If you want a good Mulitplayer FPSI cant recommend this game at all it mostly runs around 45 FPS it has nor FOV slider the gun play is just boring and the graphics are really bad. I would say that Black Ops 2 actually had better graphics and i would even say that Bad Company 2 from 2010(!!!) had better Graphics.     Do you like losing substantial amounts of money by buying the same game 11 times? well then this is the game for you. Call of Duty Ghosts' is a big step back, I would go as far to say that the Modern Warfare games were better and that this feels like something Infinity Ward rushed to get some more money. I wonder how long it will be until this series dies out.

    I was worried the series would die, surprisingly i was amazed. All the game modes are a blast all the weapons are balanced all the modes fun. My only 2 complaints is no FOV slider and you need a bit of a beefy computer. All in all Ghosts suprised me and i love it and to be honest the singleplayer was good, started off slow but then was great.

I have played probably around 7 matches. And I hate this game. Same old stuff graphics no improvement. Gameplay boring as hell. Poor spawning. Connection issues. Snipers still bloody camping. I discovered Battlefield BC2 a while back and have been a fan of the series since. I have never been a fanboy type, but seriously, BF4 (even with the games many technical issues re connection, rubber banding, stat losses, etc) is a far far better game. Even BF3 is far superior to COD Ghosts.
    I could go on here and make this pretty extensive, however I am itching to play some more BF4, so will keep this brief. In summary: DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS GAME. ITS THE SAME AS ALL THE OTHER CODS. Boring, full of campers, poor graphics (I am on a high end PC and this game looks ancient), poor gameplay, poor optimisation, no way to adjust key things like ADS sensitivities, etc.
    I think this is the end of the COD franchise (I hope so anyway) especially with the likes of BF4, Destiny, Titanfall and others coming out which are far better games. Goodbye COD, I will not miss you.    … Expand

    The maps. Between being too open and the spawns being all over the place ranging from out in the middle of nowhere on the map, to spawning you behind the person that killed you, to in front of another player. I really did enjoy it for everything but those two things because they make it a completely different game. I have adjusted to it but its just not the same experience.

    Single player was its usual par for the course action through linear maps of connecting hallways. Some people find the multiplayer part of the game absolutely great. Which makes me feel like I haven't tried. Even though I've already put in 100 hours into the game, meanwhile the person who said its great has played for maybe 24 hours who also promptly told me I just suck even though he could only kill me from behind.

    The constantly getting shot from every possible angle. The constant fear of wondering where bullets are going to come from. So you cower down behind a bush and wait for an enemy to run by and you don't feel good about what you did. I would say this game could cause flare ups of PTSD for retired soldiers. A game isn't supposed to do that. A game is supposed to be fun. But congrats on getting the realism right.    … Expand

    They game is glitchy as heck and it is not worth a big 30-60 dollar.
    The game was dead before it was even launched that why they called it call of duty ghosts.

    this singular mode quite OK! However, the bad graphics and the high requirement of the hardware ruins the game. Also, the multiplayer mode give me a boring experiment. This game doesn't worth it. Stop to waster your time on playing this game!

    The game can be quite fun but a portion of the maps are way too big for 6 on 6 Multiplayer matches and it is horribly optimized for pc. It has no FOV slider, no rentable dedicated servers and mod tools (IW promised to bring these out post launch but i won't count on it)
    Count with that the absolute rage IW/Activision has    I give this game a 6 out of 10 since i can actually play it..

    It works OK on my laptop but i'm getting FPS drops as well. IW has sent out the random tweet telling people they're working on fixes.

    A step backwards from Black Ops 2. Graphics are awful and with a very lower framerate than expected. Hell, I'm getting more frames in BF4 than this game. The port is terrible with bugs from MW3 still. The sound effects seems like a copy paste from MW3 too. Don't buy this crash grab game, stay far away from it.

    This is a step back from Black Ops 2, If I turn on modern warfare 2 I get the same deal, I guese playing a female and having a dog is the only inovating they could come up with.

    This game may appeal to Call Of Duty fans who will play any game with that title, but will baffle people who know a good game when they see it. A big step down from Black Ops II.

    First impressions. The singleplayer was varied, quite fast paced, unrealistic and "arcadey". More stealth than in MW3, which is good, because running and gunning is not fun (looking at you BF4 and MW3). The plot is confusing at first, but sort of makes sense after some mission. Although the space combat makes NO sense, although, it's in space, so that doesn't matter. FIIIIIIIIISH areFirst impressions. The singleplayer was varied, quite fast paced, unrealistic and "arcadey". Hey, lets not forget, they should've EASILY seen him or even heard him.

    Overall thoughts of singleplayer; Over average CoD style.

    Lets not forget the other stuff as well. Extinction is quite fun and can be expanded a bit if they want to. Other than that it's more or less taken inspirations from almost everything. The challenges you get are solid and not exactly easy from what I've seen. The artstyle of the aliens is surprisingly good, unexpected by someone that has copied and pasted stuff for the last 6 years. Credit to IW for that, unless that's also copied, then credit to those who made it originally. The mode becomes chaotic on singleplayer and I assume it becomes a lot better co-op. At least, it's a new fresh thing and will hopefully not be cursed by the easter egg thing that has zombies up completely.

    Now to multiplayer. You get your 5 soldiers off the start, they don't cost that much, then you could spend a lot of time on the others. The new unlock system is nice, it removes the need of being at a specific level (but still requires you to play to unlock stuff). The operations is also a nice twist to the regular challenges from the last 6 or so games. I would still wish that you could unlock attachments and weapons and other stuff by using the specific weapon, instead of being forced to use the squad points. The customization of soldiers is all a waste of time, because REMEMBER WHAT YOU ACTUALLY SEE WHEN PLAYING. Yes, you remembered it, only your arms, not even your legs. The only "major" difference is you can be a fake or a real Which would make a minor difference in shoutouts and stuff.

    Now over to gameplay. Since this is PC we're talking about, we also have to talk about PC related issues. As everyone knows, their engine is pretty much based on the terrible IW5 engine. Should've been based on the lovely IW4 engine, which actually worked properly. And with the IW5 engine comes IW5 related issues, at least for me and probably a few others. Being picky on this kind of stuff so "bear" with me. The difference between 50FPS and 90FPS is close to none. 1% of the time you actually have a smooth running game, but the rest of it, it will just have laggy animations. No matter what FPS, resolution or other settings. Needs some quick and good optimization, BO2 didn't need any extra optimization when it launched. Mouse stutter/jumping/lag is still a major issue every 10 seconds or so. The netcode seems to be affecting the FPS a lot more than what it did, which is not good.

    Away from PC related issues over to gameplay related issues. The maps are terrible, overly complex. You can get killed from any direction at any point in every map. There's no linear way of playing the maps. Feels also like every time I run/walk around, I either get killed from behind or the 2 other directions that I can't keep control over at the same time, or I run into some enemy 5 feet away from me, which results in whoever got the better ping or the most FPS or the least stutter lag, gets the kill. The sniper "multilayered" scope would actually be nice if it actually did a smooth transition every time, or that it didn't half my FPS every time I used it. They've realized that the crosshair on a sniper is useless, so they've removed it, which seems to have revoked my horrible skills at quickscoping, but if someone puts the crosshair back in some or other way, it's actually worse than before. The snipers are ridiculously powerful and accurate. All the guns seems balanced enough, or rather, overpowered enough, haven't seen anything ridiculously overpowered yet, other than the snipers. Also, when you kill someone or you get killed, you won't get the playercard popping up, which is annoying because i want to clearly see who i killed or who killed you. You have to wait for the killcam, which I always skip.

    Tl;dr, good singleplayer game, not a good multiplayer game, really laggy, lots of reoccurring issues from MW3, a game that had big potential to compete with MW2.    … Expand
