Pharaonic takes elements from Dark Souls and challenges us with them. The difficulty of the game is insane and every wrong move gets punished. The graphic side of the game is cartoony and nice, but it has some flaws. If you like a challenge, play this.- XGN

With a distinct and interesting artstyle, which mixes a realistic car and city with streetart cartoon drawings for special effects, NFS Unbound definitely sets itself apart from the rest. The game sports a Souls-like mechanism of risk vs reward and a day-night cycle that work, but also hinders progress through the storyline. the races are fun and the many collectibles are well integrated. The near-mandatory police chases quickly become a nuisance and we wouldn't mind if those didn't make a return.- XGN

Life is Strange 2 is a worthy sequel to both Life is Strange and Before the Storm. The game can't compete with either of them, but makes for a good third game. Bannerlord doesn't excel graphically or in storyline, but makes that up in flexibility and scale. The vibrant world evolves even without the gamer and offers both opportunities and threads that can be exploited. This is a true medieval sandbox where the player can act as he wishes, but always has to face the consequences. While much great effort is put into making this game playable on consoles, the sheer number of options, menus and controls make this better suited for PC.- XGN

Cold War is a very challenging game with a nice atmosphere. The mini-games and the co-op add extra length but it would have been nicer to see a second campaign like in the first game. A clever RPG that combines traditional turn-based gameplay with time manipulation to present an interesting story through many different locations. Compared to newer farming games Story of Seasons: A Wonderful Life is somewhat slow. This can lead to some frustrations, yet at the same time it gives you a sense of peace, something which is very welcome in today’s often rushed society. Sky Force Anniversary blends a classic formula with modern-day visuals and social interactions. It's a wonderfuly simplistic game with solid gameplay and while it does get repetitive and frustrating at times, you keep coming back to play some more.- XGN

Latest iteration of a long running series doesn't entirely know whether to go for realistic tennis play or full party mode. The Fever rackets and courts are a welcome deviation from the norm.- XGN

This episode is interesting. It gives us a deeper view on the characters, but you can feel that this is a mid-season episode. The emotional moments are not that strong as earlier episodes and the end of this episode shows something you could have seen coming.- XGN

With Pool Nation you'll get a pooling experience that you've never had before. The simulator delivers several game modes and a lot of options to choose from. Every kind of shot that you can imagine is possible to make in the game and because of that you can truly speak of a great simulator. Another big plus are the graphics, which are truly stunning for a low budget title. If you want a great pooling experience without having to travel to a café, Pooling Nation is an offer you can't refuse.- XGN

Beautiful, both visually and musically, the game is solidly rooted in folklore and local traditions. South of Midnight combines parkour sections with confined battles to tell an engaging story full of characters from legends, brought to life. It doesn't overstay it's welcome but isn't very challenging either.- XGN
