Placed alongside Endless Legend’s previous expansion, ‘Guardians’, Shadows is similarly priced and has a lot more to offer in the way of content. How that content is introduced to the player could use some work, but the amount given is neither too much nor too little.

Despite the lack of polish, Endless Legend Shadows offers some great content which introduce new play styles and features that deepen the great gameplay of Endless Legend even more.

New expansion, and low price. A new faction and a new espionage mechanic. A llitle bit hard to understand, but when you do -oh boy that'sNew expansion, and low price. A new faction and a new espionage mechanic. A llitle bit hard to understand, but when you do -oh boy that's glorious. The Forgotten adds new mechanics such as invisibility and they buy and steal tech instead of using science, and focus a lot on heroes and pillage! Try them a few games and you will love them. If you liked Endless Legend, you should totally buy this. Expand

The forgotten are fun to play as and are as unique as the other factions already in the game. The espionage mechanic adds some options to gain tech, capture cities, etc. It's more fleshed out than spying is in Civ V, that's for sure, but it still doesn't add a whole lot of additional options to the game. Don't expect to be re-addicted to the game like BNW and G&K did for Civ V, this is very much a small expansion. For the content that is here, I feel as though the game is overpriced. I got it for $5 on sale and I'd say that is a good price for it. $13 is too much. Expand

Quit under-rating Halo 3 because you don't own a 360, and quit hyping up the Half-Life franchise like it's full of innovation. What, exactly, aside from the gravity gun, is innovative about Half Life 2? It's possibly one of the most HEAVILY scripted and narrow games I've ever played. Is it good? Hell yes. But so is Halo. So quit trashing another good franchise just because you're a spoon-fed fanboy. I've built several of my own machines and Half-Life 2 looked gorgeous on ALL of them, but I've also owned an Xbox in my time, and I'm willing to concede that Halo is just as good as a series. My biggest complaint is with Steam. Yes, maybe steam users are stupid enough to put their money into what is obviously going to be a monopoly, but I'm not. The only Steam games I will ever purchase are Valve games, because Steam is all you can play them on. So go ahead, put money into something like this and watch as the market is monopolized and you have to pay for every game through Steam, keeping in mind that if your account was ever lost for whatever reason, all your games would be gone. Sadly, people don't think ahead, they've got the sheep mentality and it's going to screw us all. Expand
