Let's face it: it's unlikely you're going to pick this up instead of FIFA 11, but as an alternative to play when football isn't on your brain, this does the job very well indeed.- VideoGamer

Occasional glimmers of hope with Blood Stone are killed by an unwavering torrent of mediocrity - I haven't even mentioned the throwaway multiplayer mode, for instance, and I think that's for the best.- VideoGamer

However Joyride is no worse than any launch title to come out of Wii in its earliest year. It sets its aim toward the casual family market and hits it, bull's-eye. In terms of light-weight casual games it gains points if only for the novelty value of not having a controller, and that's its niche.- VideoGamer

It's a skill-based game that manages to be surprisingly technical, but never at the expense of fun. It's hugely rewarding, too: after several extended spells on the game, Mr Gaston had the balls to perform Gold Digger on stage in a Croydon nightclub - and round there, they kill people who suck at karaoke.- VideoGamer

The core driving is never anything but exhilarating, visually it's almost flawless and the Autolog features are genre leading. There's still something missing, though. While the high-speed pursuits are up there with the best gaming experiences of the year, the game needs more than that: car tuning, a resemblance of a story - complete with cheesy acting - and a reason to explore the open world.- VideoGamer

Without the distractions of combat, hub worlds and pointless Wii-mote waggling, Sonic Team has been able to put all its efforts into creating a platformer Sonic fans can be proud of. Kinect Adventures' set of five games was never designed to innovate, but it clearly fails to do the bare minimum that is necessary for mini-games to have a purpose. Mini-games are fun in small, pint-sized, easy-to-play quantities, and while Adventure succeeds in offering pocket-size entertainment the gameplay is nowhere near interesting enough and fails to capitalise on the novelty of Kinect.- VideoGamer
