    In short, it's Monopoly, only prettier and easier to get out and put away than the board game. Now if you excuse me, I need to roll doubles to try and get out of jail.

    Monopoly Streets isn't going to make new fans if you already find the core Monopoly gameplay boring and mundane, but if you're a fan of Monopoly and want a version to play on your home console, whether online or offline, you probably needn't look any further.

    If you love Monopoly, but couldn't care less about online play, get a 2008 version. It makes no sense to pay extra for pretty much the only new feature.

    If you like Monopoly you'll like Monopoly Streets. But it you like it, you will probably already have the table-top game at home, and would prefer to play it without watching a television. But its virtue lies in the possibility to set up specific rules, and add additional extras to a basic formula, specially in online modes.

    Monopoly Streets does have some aces to play, but can't make us forget that it's still funnier with the real tabletop version.

    If you enjoyed the board version of this game, you will enjoy Monopoly: Streets. Indeed, it it different in many ways, but it's so much easierIf you enjoyed the board version of this game, you will enjoy Monopoly: Streets. Indeed, it it different in many ways, but it's so much easier to play on the PS3 then playing the Monopoly World board game with the credit card and every transaction that you need to do manually every time you rent or buy something... I wish you could play 6 players like the board game, you can only play 4 players. I would also enjoy some minigames on the side, like Mario Party or something... because it would make the game much more interactive. Also, i'd appreciate more available character since there is only about 10 of them, which are by the way all annoying and childest. Gameplay is good, simple. Graphics are okay... I mean it's a board game. There is some downloadable content but the thing is most of them are not free, which is pretty stupid. For example, you have to buy a new board 5 bucks to play it... a damn board?! And finally, I don't get it in 2011 why they haven't think yet of a Monopoly version that you could totally personalize your board, change prices, name of places, characteristics of cards, etc. It would make this game so much better and enjoyable. But, despite all my negative comments this is still a game to get to play with your family :) I recommand it, but don't get too high expectations!!

The game will go out of its way to teach you, and the game does it justice. Now if you're like me and are a fan of monopoly, I couldn't recommend you something better if I tried. This game is just vanilla Monopoly, but there are also several different modes to try. Of course there's the classic no nonsense game, but there are a wide variety of other modes, ranging from shorter games to bull markets. At the end of the day, Monopoly Streets is an amazing game for a very specific set of people. However, for the average player, it falls flat. But if you can find some fun in the board game, the game is actually pretty good for all things considered.… Expand

And if you're playing someone online, and they quit (which happens often if they're losing), prepare for the game to lock up very soon.
    They released one patch so far, and from what I've read, only made matters worse.
    Hopefully a new patch comes soon. But currently as-is, the PS3 version sucks.    … Expand

It was my first time playing today and it was a **** experience. I played against an AI and the level was on easy. I tried playing two times and I ended up forfeiting both times. They made the game impossible to play and to win. There's no way to win against the AI's and it's on easy for crying out loud. I'm completely disgusted and I stopped playing. I believe the game was built to cheat for the AI's. Anyone else been having this issue against the computer???… Expand
