Progressing through Heaven Dust's zombie-filled world is highly enjoyable thanks to its rewarding puzzles and sense of exploration.

It's not the most fleshed out multiplayer indie but Gerrrms still provides some good times through its intuitive and enjoyable setup.

It may look goofy but PandaBall provides intuitive and exciting arcade soccer action that's even more enjoyable with a local chum.

XIII is a linear first-person shooter with a neat graphical style that offers simple fun akin to a game that belongs in an arcade. However, FPS veterans may be put off due to its linearity and general lack of depth.

Feather is the gaming equivalent of an ASMR video. Some folks will dig it while others will wonder why it even exists.

When it gets down to it, DRAGON BALL: THE BREAKERS has a clever premise that makes its gameplay occasionally fun but that often feels like the stars have aligned because otherwise, it's a generally repetitive and monotonous affair.

Bitlogic's gameplay is simply clunky and it regularly relies on guesswork and tedious retreading so it's a tough game to enjoy.

Shoot 'em up fans will be put off by the overall monotony of FullBlast's gameplay but it definitely looks and sounds great.

Overhead racing fanatics will find a lot to love about Ultimate Racing 2D but don't expect anything revolutionary.

Dungeon Munchies is a clunky and repetitive game that will oddly get its hooks in you once you begin to understand its unconventional gameplay. It's still an irritating experience, though, but one that is somewhat endearing with its off-the-wall humour.

Valkyria Revolution is a noble effort at providing fans with a fresh take on the series but it unfortunately doesn't quite live up to its genre contemporaries. That being said, it may satisfy if you simply want to be immersed in an intriguing tale.

I find it odd when a sequel in a series does little to set itself apart from its predecessors and Fallen Legion Revenants especially perplexes me with its monotonous combat and minimal gameplay elements. Great artwork, though, even if Rowena looks like Soma Cruz.

Circuit Breakers manages to recapture some tropes of classic twin-stick shooters but sadly their fun factor wasn't one of them. It might give some old-school gamers a burst of nostalgia but its repetitive nature and unfair level of difficultly will make it unappealing to most.

Nippon Marathon is a ridiculous bakage game that's a ton of fun with friends but its annoying gameplay is only tolerable in short bursts.

Blackwind is an enjoyable twin-stick shooter that features intuitive gameplay and a wealth of satisfying moves. That being said, if its campaign was structured in a more comprehensible manner then it would be a much more fulfilling adventure.

Danganronpa S: Ultimate Summer Camp is a welcome game for those who'd like to see how characters from the franchise would get along if they were trapped together on a tropical island. However, the gameplay is a bit too simplistic so unless you're really into grinding and collecting, you probably won't play it for long before wanting to play something more substantial from the main series.

Piecing together the puzzles in Creepy Tale can be quite rewarding but at the same time, frustration is bound to rear its ugly head.

Even though Earthfall isn't revolutionary and doesn't stand tall with top-tier cooperative shooters, there's still some fun to be had with it, especially if you have friends to enjoy it with.

You might enjoy Trollhunters: Defenders of Arcadia if you're a fan of the show but even if you are, there's no denying just how unchallenging and unrefined of an experience it is. Here's hoping that a much better Trollhunters game is made down the road.

If you'd like to have some co-op first-person shooting fun with a friend either locally or online then you can have a few hours of fun with RICO. After that, it'll likely overstay its welcome with its simple gameplay and tiresome structure.

Unless you're a hardcore fan of the original board game or you're looking a simple game to play with your kids, it's hard to wholeheartedly recommend The Game of Life 2. That being said, it does have some lovely graphics and fun themes.

As a huge fan of all things Dark Witch, Music Episode: Rudymical is a big disappointment. Its simplistic gameplay makes it feel like a half-baked mini-game which is a giant step back from the fully-featured games in the main series.

Castle of Heart may look like a promising 2D action game that's reminiscent of the classics but it's so poorly designed that you'll want to plug in your NES so you can play a far superior selection of games.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Arcade: Wrath of the Mutants provides simple beat 'em up entertainment that can be kind of fun for a couchful of chums. However, its middling nature certainly leaves a lot to be desired.
