Given some work, Trulon can be a worthwhile RPG. As it is, I can't possibly widely recommend it but I do hope to see a reworked version release eventually because there's definitely a lot of potential here.

I had fun with The Unexpected Quest but its failure to challenge me made the experience less satisfying than it could have been.

Even if they were giving it away, I don't understand why anyone would sacrifice their time to play such a basic yet frustrating exercise in tedium. That is, unless they're reviewing it to warn others not to bother.

Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: Mega Battle disappointingly fails to live up to its genre predecessors. Those who love the Rangers and don't mind playing a substandard beat 'em up should check it out but it isn't much of a game to widely recommend.

There's definitely fun to be had in Captain Blood with its simple and frantic action that has surprisingly satisfying old-school violence. However, with irritating quick-time events, repetitive gameplay, and plenty of frustrating moments, you might want to dock this ship.

It may not have good graphics and it's definitely dripping with cheese but there's no denying just how much fun you and a few friends can have with Carnival Games. Most of the mini-games offer good times and the overall sense of fun is top-notch.

Its gameplay may be functional but Brotherhood United is so trite and stereotypical that it's difficult to recommend to anyone.

I'm glad that I waited for Zorro The Chronicles to get a patch before reviewing it but even without the abundance of bugs, it's still an overall underwhelming adventure. It does show promise, though, so I'd gladly play a sequel.

If you love pretentious indie games then you may enjoy Vane but those just looking to have fun will likely get irritated with it.

Double Dragon IV is a return to the good old days of beat 'em ups that fans may enjoy but it's also a flawed experience that modern gamers will likely be baffled by. Although it's not as good as I was hoping, I'm glad to see Bimmy and Jimmy kicking ass in 2017.

There are good times to be had in Beyond the Ice Palace 2 but those moments will be among much frustration and clunkiness.

I can't imagine anyone playing Storm Boy and getting more enjoyment from it than they can from reading the book or watching one of its theatrical adaptations. That being said, it's still a charming and delightful game, that's for sure.

If you can get past the hideous graphics and glitches and don't mind using an online guide every now and then, Syberia 3 is actually quite a fun game. Most of the puzzles are just the right level of challenge and the story stays interesting throughout.

Between Looney Tunes: Wacky World of Sports and Space Jam: A New Legacy - The Game, Bugs Bunny and friends sure haven't been treated well in recent years when it comes to video games. Here's hoping we get a remake of Time Busters; that was a fun game.

Frank Rising offers a new dynamic to the classic Dead Rising gameplay but it also ends up feeling too limited to be thoroughly enjoyable. Either way, it's great to see the story wrap up in such a crazy way so it may be worth downloading for that alone.

Simply put, AeternoBlade II feels like one of those PS2 games that your weird friend loves but you can't help but wonder why.

PONG Quest is a delightful game that masterfully combines retro gameplay with a dungeon crawling RPG formula. It may not have the most stylish visuals or long-lasting gameplay yet it remains a highly enjoyable and charming take on a timeless classic.

League of War: VR Arena provides a simple gameplay dynamic that can be enjoyable both solo and with a local chum. That being said, the easily exploitable AI and tiresome formula will ensure that the war concludes before its soldiers have a chance to prove their valour.

The most enjoyment you'll get out of Party Planet is having a few laughs at some of the mini-games. Most of the collection is composed of awful takes on classic games so if you're a retro gamer then it's best to avoid this load of farts entirely.

The Deer God feels like a bit of a chore to play with simple missions and a lack of any interesting or varied level structure. Those who make it to the end may find themselves having a bit of fun in the final hour but I wouldn't fault any gamer who couldn't make it through the grudgingly dull and poorly-paced first couple of hours.

Action RPGs don't get much simpler than Arc of Alchemist but that's a part of its charm. So, if you're looking for a basic and surprisingly rewarding hack and slash adventure then give it a go. Just don't expect it to feel like a current gen experience.

Mad Carnage's premise is incredibly unique and has a lot of promise. Unfortunately, the restrictive nature of its story campaign and bland visuals make it not live up to its full potential. Here's hoping we see a much improved sequel sometime down the road.

Besides a few minor frustrations, TRANSFORMERS: Galactic Trials presents a superb blend of racing, platforming, and shooting that really packs a punch when it all comes together. Whether you're testing your skills or taking on a chum, you'll have a great time.
