Fatal Fury City of the Wolves is the needed return of one of the most beloved IPs in the fighting games genre, together with revamped gameplay elements and updated designs. with those the netcode is not perfect and I hope this gets addressed sooner than later, cause this game is good, but it could be perfect, and I want more people to get into it!- Vgames

OVIVO is a great example for a genius mix between gameplay, soundtrack and design. It is a must have game for anyone that wants to experience story in unique ways to enjoy great music and gameplay. OVIVO is a short game, too short, that feels like a taste from something perfect, and you want more from it.- Vgames

The portability of the Switch elevates this version of Diablo 3 to become the best version of the game. Add the bonuses and the local online co-op between several switch consoles and you get a must buy for die-hard fans of the game, series and genre.- Vgames

Again we turn to the indie game devs in order to get a game that is this polished and satisfying to control. Gravity Circuit is really guilty of false advertising: It's way flashier and way more satisfying than what the store page description is telling you. Truly one of the best games of 2023.- Vgames

If I had to describe Splatoon 2 in a word it would be "fun". The game's new modes are fun, the new weapons are great and the game's performance are incredible, whether we're talking about the 60 FPS mark the game stays on or the stability of the servers. The game could do more in regards to its online lobby system, but everything else is pretty much spot on. Splatoon 2 is a must own for the Nintendo switch.- Vgames

I feel like I'm repeating my young self here: Final Fantasy XII is an amazing RPG, and it holds up exceptionally well even 11 years after it's initial release. This PS4 remastering does it justice not only in the visual department but also by exposing the game to many gamers who missed out on this late FF entry. As an RPG fan I loved FFXII on the PS2, and it isn't going to change with this great remaster. What a year the PS4 is having.- Vgames

The yearly release of Football Manager adds a few great features as well as overall improvements to its game engine and official UEFA licensing. Combined with an already complete and tight package, the result is the best Football Manager up to date. The full price may draw away players who bought the game in the last few years and they may skip this year's edition. As for new players, this is a must-buy.- Vgames

The Last Spark Hunter managed to do something we didn't think was possible: It made us care for a DLC other than the one that has Rayman in it. What a great DLC, with great combat, great new characters and fun world to explore.- Vgames

This is one of the best fighting games in recent years, but most importantly – we're talking about the best anime tie-in game in the past 10 years. The lobby system is the only downside of this game, but other than that, the gameplay is super solid, the voice acting is amazing and the plethora of modes make it both engaging for fighting game veterans, and fun and accessible for newcomers and fans alike.- Vgames

The newest RE:V expansions gives us a lot of new ways to play the game, either in the new and fun Shadows of Rose story expansion or the new and improved Mercenaries mode. Fans looking for more classic RE:V might find themselves a bit let down, but the new changes and additions work great for me.- Vgames

I will give Splatoon 3 the highest regard anyone can give to a sequel: It makes Splatoon 2 look dated and redundant in comparison. The many improvements Splatoon 3 has makes is the superior game and the best in an already incredible series.- Vgames

Assassin's Creed: Origins is the best in the series. This breathtaking recreation of Ancient Egypt is truly something to witness. With a beautiful setting, a huge open world with tons of content and side quests with more plot than you can think of, Origins will grab you the moment you step in the Animus and won't let go until you've had your fill.- Vgames

There is no doubt that Uncharted: The Lost Legacy is an excellent game. Like in the previous games in the series, it features a brilliant story, challenging puzzles and intense combat which are all better than ever. Chloe and Nadine prove to be a wonderful team and it seems like this isn't their last treasure hunt adventure together. However, The Lost Legacy can be labeled as a "very big DLC" for Uncharted 4: A Thief's End. Hence, the campaign is not very long and all the mechanics are pretty much the same as in Uncharted 4. If you haven't played Uncharted 4 yet, you might want to do that before picking The Lost Legacy because it could ruin and spoil your story. If you did play Uncharted 4, then The Lost Legacy is a must.- Vgames

With Nioh, Team Ninja seems to hit the perfect recipe for compelling gameplay, taking the best elements from the Souls series and combining them with the legacy of Ninja Gaiden, with a pinch of Diablo in the mix. While the high difficulty might be frustrating at times, Nioh is an experience no gamer should miss.- Vgames

The Long Dark is a beautiful game that brings an almost perfect mix of gameplay, sound and design. The survival aspect of the game is one, if not the most advance there is today in any game. The first two episode of the first season does not attract the player so much, but they show the potential in the future episodes. In The Long Dark you get an unique player experience that give you many moments of frustration and satisfaction, and epic personal survival stories. The Long Dark gives you the survival experience that you won't get anywhere else.- Vgames

ARMS feels like the first true competitive game for the Nintendo Switch. Nintendo made the game work with both the Motion Controls scheme and the regular controllers. The gameplay is fast and fun, with comebacks and great moves just around the corner. The single player experience is pretty dull, and can be frustrating at times, but the online scene is absolutely great. The game will get more patches and free DLC along the way so it might get fixed in the future, but even in this current state, I believe that ARMS is a game that's not hard to recommend.- Vgames

Persona 5 Strikers is a great Musou game, and even though for veterans of the series it might feel intimidating but it’s worth it for the plot. The game runs so well on PC but it does beg the question: why isn't Persona 5 on PC yet? It’s time to bring it to other consoles other then the PS4 so more players will get to experience the full story.- Vgames

The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom took quite a gamble when it decided to abandon large parts of the winning formula of the Zelda games we know, but the result is a creative, fun and very special game that somehow manages to be one of the best games of the beloved series. With that being said, a slight performance drops and discomfort in regards to controlling the echoes can be a bit annoying, so it's not as perfect a game as I hoped it would be.- Vgames

I can’t answer the biggest question—whether Shadows will restore Ubisoft’s lost fan love—but it’s certainly a step in the right direction. The game makes smart choices where its predecessors often prioritized quantity over quality. It delivers a visually stunning world, a more mature and cinematic story, and two unique protagonists that complement each other. However, it still feels bloated at times, inconsistent in quality, and doesn’t revolutionize the series.- Vgames

Cronos: The New Dawn is the last word in Bloober Teams evolution, in The Medium we started to shift more towards narrative based horror games and now we also get some more survival, I enjoyed my time exploring this version of Poland and the 80s era version of Bloober Team, and I can't wait to see what's next for the studio beside the Silent Hill remake.- Vgames

Morbid Metal is a promising debut with a combat system that earns real respect. Screen Juice has built something genuinely worthwhile here - a fast, expressive, multi-character action game that holds its own alongside its clear inspirations, even if it hasn't matched them yet. The roguelike structure introduces limitations that blunt some of that momentum, the bugs in the current build are disruptive in a system where precision matters most, and the story hasn't yet justified its ambitions. But the foundation is strong, and Ubisoft's decision to back this small German studio looks, at least so far, like one of the smarter calls they've made in a while. The full release could be something worth getting loud about. [Early Access Score = 65]- Vgames

RuneScape: Dragonwilds is an ambitious spin-off that brings the charm of RuneScape to the survival genre, set in the dragon-filled, mysterious continent of Ashenfall. In early access, it offers a compelling foundation with familiar skill systems, creative base-building, and innovative magic mechanics, but stumbles with a thin story, optimization issues, and clunky inventory management.
