Injustice 2 has everything that fighting fans dream of: rich character roster, smooth gameplay and a strong replay value. With these, Injustice 2 not only rises above its predecessor, but also above most of fighting games available today. NRS proves once again that they are becoming the best fighting game developer of them all. With a short but well written story, wonderful fighting mechanic and the brand new Gear system, you will receive a recipe for a superb fighting game with a slight RPG seasoning.- Vgames

Total War: Warhammer II might not be a revolutionary and groundbreaking title that reinvents the strategy genre. However, it also does not aspire to be one. Instead, it takes the familiar and beloved formula and polishes it even more. The result is not only one of the best games in the Total War series, but an excellent strategy game in itself.- Vgames

This is the best Call of Duty in years, with great multiplayer and an awesome campaign (even though it doesn’t live up to its fullest potential). The game reminds me of Modern Warfare with an emphasis on a moving and meaningful story coupled with addicting multiplayer action creating a satisfying and wholesome shooting experience.- Vgames

This is one of the best games in the Hitman franchise and definitely the best game in the "World of Assassination" Trilogy by IO Interactive. This is a must play for anyone into Hitman and a great ending to Agent 47's story.- Vgames

This is, without any doubt, one of biggest PlayStation games ever made. It's polished beyond belief, with great writing, voice acting, graphics and sound design. The combat and puzzles are, yet again, a subject of taste, but it did the job for me. If you loved God of War 2018, then this is a must buy for you.- Vgames

The Prince of Persia gets its first game in a very long time, and what a triumphant return that it. With great combat, fluid motion, great map design and other fantastic gameplay elements, this game elevates itself and stands out in the landscape of Metroidvania games. What an excellent beginning to 2024.- Vgames

Super Mario Maker 2 makes its predecessor look small and limited compared to it. And that by itself says a lot about the game.- Vgames

XCOM 2: War of the Chosen doesn’t feel like DLC. It has tons of new and great content ranging from new soldiers and races, to the new research labs and missions and not to mention the great new enemies - The Chosen. If you feel like you’re done with everything XCOM 2 has to offer and Mario + Rabbids just can’t satisfy your need for tactical gameplay you should definitely pick this one up.- Vgames

Silent Hill f will probably be one of the more divisive Silent Hill titles, but it is a good game for people who are interested in the series to get a good taste of it and maybe get into the fog with us, especially before the remake for Silent Hill comes out.- Vgames

Wow, this was unexpected to say the least. Who would've thought one of the deepest, most tactical games of this year would come out of a collaboration between Mario and Rabbids? But it is – with an amazing battle system, a rewarding challenge beautiful world and great musical score, the game cements itself as a must-buy for Switch owners who like a good tactics game.- Vgames

This superb port for this amazing game brings Skyrim to the Nintendo Switch to showcase what the console is best at – delivering great game anywhere and anytime. The port is done well with great graphics, all the DLC, very stable performance and great use of the Switch Amiibo and motion control functionality. The only place the game really suffers is the price tag which is way high for its name.- Vgames

Hellblade Senua's Sacrifice is a game of exploration and puzzles. You solve the puzzles with almost no help from the game and get into battles with mighty demons. After a lot of puzzles and demons you fight an amazingly done boss. While fighting and solving you will constantly hear voices caused by your character's mental illness. It's a really creepy game which involves a lot of monsters and creatures that will attack and try to make you weaker and insecure. The game is a huge and wonderful experience that everyone should play.- Vgames

These games exceeded my expectations by a mile. Pokemon Sun and Moon are games that every Pokemon fan and every 3DS owner needs to own. Nintendo and Gamefreak did an awesome job creating a great story and the changes they made for the format make the game feel fresh and exciting more so than ever before. The game has its minor issues like the end game and some performance issues on Old 3DS models but the soundtrack, the story and the new features more than make up for it, to make an unforgettable experience.- Vgames

Rocket League on the Nintendo Switch is simply Rocket League. And why should it change? The graphics are a bit worse than it’s bigger console brethren but other than that this version offers so much more: New Cars and Hats, additional options to play with friend and the ability to go fully portable with a game about freedom of movement. This port can be summed up by two words: “No Problem.”- Vgames

The only reason why LEGO Voyagers won't be in the GOTY conversation is because it's not innovative enough. Instead, it uses it own simplicity to be accessible to every game to provide a beautiful, addicting and touching experience- Vgames

This was a big risk by Square Enix, but it paid off marvelously. The PS5 now has its Final Fantasy game, and although it doesn't really feel like a Final Fantasy game (mechanically), but it is an excellent game in its own right, with amazing graphics, incredible gameplay in what is possibly the OST of the year. I am so happy that this is my 300th review.- Vgames

Crash Team Racing: Nitro-Fueled is a fun high-paced racing game that isn't just there to cater for your nostalgic feeling. It's also there to be a top-tier kart-racing game. It's definitely not too simple and not too hard either, and takes a bit of practice in order to win it. It's Beautifully colorful, full of fun customization options and a large amount of tracks to master. The different modes with the addition of battle mode makes it even more diverse than the Mario Kart games. The Online may require fixing, but we all know it was meant to be a couch co-op and not a ranked online multiplayer.- Vgames

It's one of the best games of 2020, on a console that let's me play it everywhere. Sure, it doesn't look as pretty but it does look pretty and plays in silky smooth 60 FPS. It's an amazing port and Switch owners should really buy it.- Vgames

Just like a next gen release title, Yakuza: Like a Dragon is the next gen for an aging game series, and I don’t mean it in a bad way, but that is a welcomed change. I will miss Kiryu as a protagonist, but Ichiban Kasuga is wonderful as well, he is relatable and isn’t afraid to say what he feels, and so will I: this game is amazing and I hope you’d like it too.- Vgames

Yoko Taro is known to be over the top and a bit crazy. This time this madness, combined with the great minds at Platinum Games, gave birth to an excellent video game I just have to recommend. The story, while a bit convoluted, is moving and beautiful, the gameplay is great and allows freedom of choice in how to tackle battles, the characters are great and the world itself is wonderfully bleak and dark. The game's hard and very hard mode can be a bit too difficult for its own good, and the side quests do tend to be a bit boring and tedious, but the overall experience is amazing.- Vgames

NetherRealm Studios are making a great job by keeping Injustice 2 alive and maintained. The addition of new characters and the multiverse are doing its job for keeping me playing the game for hours, all by myself. In addition, it makes a great party game and bust-a-friend game for a pizza night. I think they should get rid of the gear system, but considering that you can disable gear effect by playing competitive mode, it can be eschewed.- Vgames

Morbid Metal is a promising debut with a combat system that earns real respect. Screen Juice has built something genuinely worthwhile here - a fast, expressive, multi-character action game that holds its own alongside its clear inspirations, even if it hasn't matched them yet. The roguelike structure introduces limitations that blunt some of that momentum, the bugs in the current build are disruptive in a system where precision matters most, and the story hasn't yet justified its ambitions. But the foundation is strong, and Ubisoft's decision to back this small German studio looks, at least so far, like one of the smarter calls they've made in a while. The full release could be something worth getting loud about. [Early Access Score = 65]- Vgames

RuneScape: Dragonwilds is an ambitious spin-off that brings the charm of RuneScape to the survival genre, set in the dragon-filled, mysterious continent of Ashenfall. In early access, it offers a compelling foundation with familiar skill systems, creative base-building, and innovative magic mechanics, but stumbles with a thin story, optimization issues, and clunky inventory management.
