Although a bit too ambitious if we compare the expectations and the final result, Dead Island is still a great game, with a lot of hours of fun, a great ambiance and a good combat system which provides a lot of little pleasures when killing zombies. Its cooperative mode and lenghtly story make it a recommended buy.

Days Gone is a very enjoyable game, with a beautiful setting, some interesting ideas and a good story, but Bend Studio has bitten off more than it could chew, and it shows. It takes too many things from open-world adventures, and the execution doesn’t always live up to the expectations. Overall, it’s entertaining and solid, but a less ambitious project would’ve end up being better.

It's exactly what we expected: a deep tribute to video games, mainly from the 80/90's. Crazy and intense, Retro City Rampage is able to entertain without a groundbreaking visual aspect. Damon and Baby delivers a charismatic twin-stick shooter experience brimming with imaginative lore and striking artistic personality. Rally Arcade Classics certainly deserves a lot more attention than it's been getting in its first few weeks, and we hope this isn't indicative of the current market's lack of interest in speed arcades. It's not trying to reinvent the arcade formula but rather pay homage to it, nor will it completely fill the gap left by the demise of arcades, but it's a passion project that can compete with the current competition in the indie space unless you consider the existence of a multiplayer mode to be absolutely essential.

Even so, it is not a bad game and if you are passionate about the genre in its purest conception, the original novel on which it is based and you want a slow experience away from the freneticism and spectacle that usually reigns in the industry, here you will find a purchase that you may want to take into account.
