At a buck it is worth getting Big Bad Flower for the cool controls, and I hope to see more innovations from this fresh developer.

NanoWar is a fun arcade strategy game that lacks a bit of own personality, and too often I just feel like I am playing a reskinned version of Galcon. The excellent controls are always up to the job no matter how intense the game gets, and I really wish to see some new aspect to the formula to distinguish it from the original.

Time Surfer is a good game within its genre, one that at least on the surface tries to resolve an issue with runner type games, and even make it a feature.

In the end, shoehorning Superman into the now-hackneyed ‘Infinity Blade’ template just doesn’t work for me. With the film in theaters after a long layoff, and the fact that this has to be one of the biggest IPs in entertainment, I expected something little more original.

Grand Prix Story is so far the simulation I have liked the least from Kairosoft. Too much sitting about idle, no racing interaction and a lack of combos are huge letdowns.

I look forward to Xenome Episode 2, and hopefully Nine Pound Studios will hire someone to create interesting missions tying up the story.

Heavy Mach 2 tries too much in my opinion to span too many genres.

Farm Frenzy 3 offers loads of content, but sadly most of it has been seen before. Actually this is more of a graphical update than anything else.

Slingo Supreme is a fun and bright casual game perfect for a quick break or the long boring movie you have to sit through. There are a great deal of luck required for the higher scores, but as you are awarded by unlocking things by just playing it gets really hard to put down.

Unmechanical isn’t a bad game, but it lacks that bit of extra polish and fun that I had expected.

No one particular element of Legion struck me as better than its peers available on the PC. However; it happens to be the only game of its specific kind on the iPad. The iPad specific controls work well enough- though not as well as a game like Battle of the Bulge. This is a good start for historical grand strategy on the iPad, but there is significant room for growth.

All in all it is a cool baseball game, but it feels like it can be improved so much that I just can't find myself recommending it.

It borrows too heavily from films and similar games of the genre resulting in a hodgepodge of a storyline. Another 'attack of the clones' if you will!

A casual take on crime where some design decisions leave me confused. This would really have benefitted from line drawing controls, and some cool gadgets or other rewards to keep you interested. Repetitive gameplay, and memorization of routes limits the appeal.

A hard game with a demanding time limit to each room. To a small audience this will be a perfect pace, but for the most of us it gets frustrating replaying the same room over and over.

All in all the game is pretty easy to grab and play for a while but it is definitely hard to master. It is still pretty short though; I beat it in like two hours or so, on normal difficulty.

I found it to be incredibly thin, which is a shame since I like the concept, artwork and 8-bit music.

Its scale and story must have been significantly more meaningful at the time of its release. I can't help but compare it to everything I have played since that time. Those of you who have fond memories of the game may want to bring out the better controlling PS2 version, or wait for the crippling bug to be fixed in the iOS version.

A pretty decent "pick-up-and-play" game. There are some achievements that make the game a little more fun, but most of the achievements are acquired just by playing the game normally instead of completing specific tasks. Unfortunately, there has not been a release of additional levels or achievements yet.

‘Stampede 3D’ is a decent attempt, but the foundation of the game is sadly a little humdrum and lacks a certain dynamism that would make it as exciting as it should be. Its mechanics need polish and the ill-suited music doesn’t do it any favours either. Definitely preferable to being crushed to death at Ikea though, so there’s always that.

The puzzles are challenging, sometimes frustratingly so, however nothing really blows you away in Block Rogue, and so at the end of the day it's just a solid puzzle game and nothing more.

Truck Jam has the foundations to become a solid racing title. Right now it feels like it's in beta. But, with some tweaks here and there to the visuals and the difficulty curve (it's too easy) as well as the addition of a much needed multiplayer mode, this could be great.

I would have preferred the gameplay if the level scrolled as you jumped, instead of being on rails. This would give you more time to aim, and a feeling that you are truly battling the clock. As it stands however, it's a little too frantic to be considered fun, especially for longer play sessions.
