Artist Colony is a clever simulation game that will leave you wondering where your time has gone.
-
It's been a long time since I was actually sucked into a video game storyline and cared about the characters and their fates.
-
A beautiful situational simulation title with vibrant visuals. While I thought the game could benefit from more features, including the ability to create your own in-game characters and overall gameplay length to be a little short coming in at just under 24 hours, I found that the attention to detail within the game, coupled with a great storyline and in-game control mechanics made Artist Colony an enjoyable experience.
-
If you enjoy the Virtual Villagers games this is a nice addition to the slower paced time management games.
-
Too safe to really be spectacular, Artist Colony is nonetheless a playable people simulator that comes with a unique setting, but fails to truly build on its early promise.
