So, yes, Starborn Anarkist is pretty rough in the early going, but it's definitely worth sticking to.

The player's fingers may not be on Colossatron's trigger or steering wheel but Halfbrick has come up with a puzzling, action packed way to help Colossatron complete his mission of world domination.

With a compelling story, plenty of content, and a character customization system that works, Shadow Sun succeeds in its goal as a Western RPG. I only hope that trend continues and we see future outings.

Republique is risky. It’s a big budget stealth-action epic on iOS that is attempting to change the face of touch games forever.

Just like its predecessor, Cut the Rope 2 may sound easy but it gets increasingly harder as you plow through it, which will just make you want to play it more.

If you're looking for a simple, yet addicting slicing game that actually has a point beyond an "endless mode," this is it. Despite the fact that there are a few questionable design decisions, this is basically one of the most fully featured slicing titles on the market.

If you're put off completely by retro themes or runners by now, I wouldn't blame you, and you might not get as much out of the game as I did. I think this is a pretty solid recommendation for most anyone else, though.

Whatever the case, I'm going to go ahead and say this is the best LEGO experience on iOS to date, and if you have a problem with that, you can take it up with the wookiee.

One could certainly argue that there’s a far amount of monotony in other Assassin’s Creed titles as well, but at least those have large open worlds to provide some variety. That key is missing from Pirates and keeps it from being a better offering.

There’s something for a specific type of gamer here, one who enjoys something a tad different and…well, pretentious. If that sounds like you, well go ahead and give this a shot. Pretentious is another example of a game that is more of an experience than something you keep coming back to. It has its surprises, and left me hoping Keybol continues weaving the story they started.

If you own an iOS device that's on the supported device list (Basically, the iPhone 4S and newer.), particularly if you've got something recent, Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas is as must-have as it gets

As for this one, Chronus Arc is definitely a worthwhile journey for RPG fans, so long as you don't mind the flat characters.

Telltale have put a dense tale on offer, red in tooth and claw and tantalizing in its player-driven possibility, and the second episode is already overdue.

The story mode is long and throws enough novelty out in the form of equipment upgrades and new visual themes to keep things interesting, and the survival mode is a lot of fun

I wouldn't call LvLn a clone of Slayin', because it's so much more than that. "Inspired" is a far better term, and it's definitely worth digging deep into the RPG elements to find out why.

If you have an iCade, I think this set is definitely worth it for the first two games alone, but otherwise, this one's really just for diehard Double Dragon fans. Everyone else should just celebrate by playing one of the hundreds of beat-em-up games on the App Store that only exist because Double Dragon blazed a trail more than 25 years ago.

If you're a Peggle fan who's completely exhausted the game, by all means, give it a go, you've got nothing to lose, but otherwise, there's really no reason you shouldn't be playing Peggle instead of this.

Still, with plenty to see, lots of replay value through the many paths you can take, some wonderful illustrations by Gary Chalk, and an intriguing new world, you could do a lot worse in the genre than Gun Dogs

I’m a huge fan of rhythm games, so any title that can manage to get the gameplay right is worth a playthrough in my book. However, Deemo is so much more than that. The game’s art style and subtle story meld together beautifully to create an overall presentation that simply works. When you combine this with the superb song selection there’s very little to not love.

Skulls of the Shogun is a terrific game. It's not reinventing the wheel, but it's a very stylish strategy game with enough content and bite to keep a solo player happy for a long time, and a great spread of multiplayer maps and options to satisfy those with a multiplayer urge

A storied franchise like Garfield could actually work in a racing game, even if the reasons for such are convoluted at best and at this point, its scraping at the bottom of pop culture's barrel for a reason to make another racer. However, its execution is too stiff and dull to work in this context.

I'm not sure what else to say in this review, because I don't want to spoil anything at all. Icycle: On Thin Ice is a wonderful game from start to finish, and one of those rare games that, as soon as I finished, made me want to discuss what it means with others.
