It's repetitive, it's missing its final world, and it's buggy.

There are lots of ways this could be a game that I'd want to recommend to others, but right now, the only thing I can truly say about my feelings on this game is that it's not worth it.

Duet is good—very good. It's not flawless, but neither does it expect you to be. This isn't an endless strive for a few more moments of perfection. The dance allows a few missteps, and doesn't it feel incredible when you get it just right?

It's very clear a lot of work went into Rakoo's Adventure, which makes it quite regrettable how little game came out. It seems the moral of Rakoo's story is that sometimes love just isn't enough.

Paint It Back looks great, has fun and clever puzzles, and just plain feels good to play.

With a price that is very generous, and no IAP, Indigo Lake will leave you wanting more.

As with the previous games, Kingturn Underworld RPG is one of the best turn-based strategy experiences you'll find on iOS, and although the ground it treads is familiar, I'd still strongly recommend it to any fan of the genre.

Mimpi is adorable, the artwork is amazing, and the puzzles are both challenging and simply fun to play through. Silicon Jelly and Crescent Moon have a winner on their hands, and I highly recommend folks check it out.

While the prospect of rolling around an insane pack of bears in a magical wonderland may not seem enticing, some things are more than they seem.

The challenge here is strong enough for an adult, but I'm not sure an adult is going to be able to tolerate the monotony of both the humor and the gameplay for as long as the game is asking the player to.

Level 22 is a delightful re-creation of some of the best parts of the retro stealth action games. It's mostly a "one and done" affair as there is little reason to return after you've completed it, but odds are you'll spend an entire afternoon playing through it.

Steampunk Tower may not rock the proverbial boat when it comes to Tower Defense, but it's still a pretty fun game.

The Magic Castle provides a variety of well thought out and designed puzzles, gorgeous visuals and a refreshing break from the plague of endless runners. If you're a fan of adventure games, you owe it to yourself to grab a copy.

Monster Adventures is a great action-RPG that you simply need to check out.

Empire is a rogue-like that uses the 4X genre as its base. I enjoy it for what it is, an experience that is both singular and innovative. Seriously, if you like strategy games, this is not one to be missed.

In spite of these shortcomings, you absolutely must play Type: Rider. I don't care if you aren't interested in typography, because it doesn't matter. It's an intricately-designed masterpiece that constantly throws fresh challenges and situations at you for the entire run of the game.

For anyone willing to buy into Puzzle Quest’s signature mechanics though, Dark Reign is -- perhaps surprisingly -- more robust than its fan service or freemium boondoggles would suggest, packing in enough content and new ideas to keep devotees matching jewels until the inevitable heat death of the Marvel universe.

If you're more the casual gamer and not trained for this retro style of twitch gameplay, you may want to look elsewhere, but for the hardcore shooter fan with masochistic tendencies, you need look no further than Soul Grinder.
