It's incredible how well this game was handled, as playing it on a Retina Display feels identical to any other platform.

While I'm sure we'd all love to see a big follow-up to Game Dev Story come to iOS, I can truly appreciate on some level that in this heavily-changing market, Pocket Stables shows that Kairosoft can, if nothing else, keep their games' quality and value stable.

Huge fans of FFIV will probably want to check it out After Years regardless, but honestly, I don’t think you’re missing much.

The simple fact is Space Chicks is an awesome endless runner with great presentation, highly approachable controls and just enough platforming elements and difficulty to keep players coming back for more.

At the end of the day, Neon Shadow could have done a lot more with its concept, but it's more than serviceable for any FPS fan.

In the end, Tower Dwellers never really escapes the shadow of its inspiration, which is a particular problem when said inspiration is cheaper and more lengthy.

Still, I guess these are minor gripes — Maze Crusade is well worth playing, and it's plenty unique — but I would have been happier if the developers asked for a single, honest price upfront instead of indulging in its medieval scheme.

Trying to make a bloody or even a mature rated running game is an ambitious attempt and using a horror movie icon like Chucky as the game's star is a clever move but its cumbersome controls and awkwardly placed obstacles make it more frustrating than fun.

Like Super Hexagon, it's perfect for a quick pick up and play situation, with no IAPs to speak of.

The set-up is exhaustive, I'll give it that, but the breadth of the gameplay balanced against the length of the story causes it to feel like I've just played through a tiny sliver that was mercilessly sliced off a larger game with little regard for where it was cutting

I suspect most people will be more than satisfied with just one of the two games, but for the diehards and gamers who missed out on the first one, Pacific Skies is the one to get.

Destiny Fantasia is basically a microwave pizza JRPG. It's almost devoid of taste and you probably shouldn't eat it, but if you're hungry and want something that vaguely resembles real pizza, it will probably hold you over.

As a Star Wars fan it’s no question for me that Tiny Death Star is worth playing despite the added heartache. However, I fully understand that for others, it may be closer to a toss-up as to whether it’s worth the time investment.

If the concept of simply fighting enemies over and over without any interruption whatsoever, Infinity Danger may not be for you. But if you're a shmup addict, there's plenty here to test your mettle, and keep you interested for quite some time. Or at the very least, a perfect excuse to bust out your device and hone your skills.

From app presentation, to CCG elements for players, and plush gameplay that will last for hours, Football Heroes is more than a “beat ‘em up”; it is a major leap forward in the mobile sports genre and a testament to what can be achieved with great development and patience.

Overall, there’s a lot to like with GT Racing 2 but the upgrade timers and forced linearity of the campaign mode really bring down an otherwise fun experience. Obviously racing aficionados will want to check it out, but I think GT Racing 2 is also approachable enough that novices can get into the mix.

The setting is a lot of fun, the characters are interesting together, and I really liked how I could shape the story a little bit both by choosing my character's gender initially and by making various dialogue choices as the game progressed.

The game is decidedly dated for numerous reasons, and although the game was a trailblazer for its time, the touch screen controls don't really lend themselves very well to a precision platformer.

There's not much else to say here, I suppose. Legend Dary: Classic isn't the biggest game, the longest game, or the most innovative game, but it's got a lot of heart, and man, if this were a Rocky movie, that would mean top marks. Sadly, this isn't a Rocky movie, so instead I'll just end off by saying that if you dig this genre of game, your dollar (or other currency equivalent) will be well spent, even if there's not a ton of meat on the bone at the moment.
