As things stand, this is one of the better KEMCO releases of recent times, and if you are looking for a game to challenge you, and you’re a fan of turn based retro styled RPGs, look no further.

Unless you’re really hankering for an ARK/Minecraft hybrid that doesn’t do a better job than either inspiration, just give PixARK a miss.

Between the lacklustre story, the frustrating controls and the non-existent character development, Damsel is just not fun to play.

It’s not overly original, and it’s not ground-breaking, but there is plenty of fun to be had and if you have capable players around you then you can be sure to knock out a good few hours with this one.

The initial premise is inherently intriguing, but the blandness and repetition of the gameplay ensures that it soon becomes an entirely forgettable experience.

Mighty Switch Force! Collection on Xbox One provides WayForward’s most exemplar IP all in one place, and while it might be missing an iOS spin-off or two, the main titles are intact.

I have massively enjoyed this latest DLC for We Happy Few, even more so than the main game in fact.

The Tower of Beatrice manages to present itself as a cheap and mildly enjoyable point-and-click offering that’ll last a couple of hours.

Metal Wolf Chaos XD is quite simply a once in a lifetime video game. This is a game we should have got back in 2005, but now in 2019 it reaches a worldwide audience in its most authentic form. It is worth it just for the satire and writing alone, but thankfully underneath the supercharged politics there also lies a supercharged mech action game which gives you so many guns to play with, in so many different ways that you can’t help but feel like a kid in a candy store.

It does cooperative play well and with a creepy X-Files vibe to things, the tone is certainly there for a jump scare or two.

Should you be in the mood for some old school puzzling with a slime based creature who can stick to walls and defy gravity, then Hoggy2 is the game for you.

Redeemer – Enhanced Edition is a game that is more than worthy of your time. If you enjoy Diablo 3, any game in a similar style is always welcome, and even if you don’t, this is still just an unfettered joy.

Antiquia Lost on Xbox One is one of KEMCO’s more successful attempts at an RPG, with a good story and a more forgiving feel to the combat.

Underworld Ascendant on Xbox One could have been a pretty decent game, but everything from the repetitive mission design (go here, fetch/kill that) to the numerous ideas that don’t pan out as they should, sees it sadly fall short of great by quite a margin.

For the price, it’s a game for platforming fans to check out. But be wary that by the end, you will have experienced most of what Furwind has to offer… three times over.

The visuals may be nice but with such little content to speak of, and such a repetitive nature to the gameplay, there isn’t enough to really warrant you drop everything to get hands on.

Bigben Interactive have done a fantastic job of bringing the sport to the console experience. The competitive feel is certainly there, and the unique handling seems to have been particularly well crafted.

Streets of Rogue on Xbox One is a totally solid roguelike game that will please fans of the genre and can easily eat up many hours, experimenting and playing around with the humorous world that Matt Dabrowski has created.

Overall and whilst Decay probably won’t give you the biggest scare, it is certainly an interesting tale. It has enough to keep the player going on, tells an original story and focuses more on the classic horror elements; it’s not afraid of delivering brain-teasing puzzles that would leave you guessing for hours.

In conclusion, I can’t recommend The Lost Legends Of Redwall: The Scout – Act One to anyone other than absolutely rabid fans of the Redwall stories, and even then, try before you buy.

Its vibrant art style and relative wealth of content are overshadowed by the shoddy controls. They fall far short of what is expected of a modern platformer and really spoil what could have been a potentially enjoyable experience.

If all you want is a fast-paced shoot ’em up and its scarcity of content doesn’t deter you, then Pawarumi will provide a good few hours of hectic action.

The pacing is generally good, but it feels less punchy than the show. On occasion, things are dragged out more than necessary with a lot of toing and froing.

SolSeraph on Xbox One is a tale of two games. On one hand, it’s a fun, accessible strategy game that works surprisingly well on console. On the other hand, it’s a bland and annoying action platformer.

Sure it may have the odd moment of surprise and bring something to get stuck into, but with too much of the same thing going on for long periods, this is only one for those who have plenty of time, patience and a fair amount of skill.

There are ways that we could have seen a less ‘grindy’ experience but if you’re after something unique then Marenian Tavern Story: Patty and the Hungry God is certainly a game worthy of your time.

The usual problems still persist – mainly the fiddly controls but put that down to this being a simulation game on a console – but this new Green Planet expansion on Xbox One literally gives the game a breath of fresh air.

Despite the presence of so many other games, Aggelos still succeeds at providing a surprisingly polished and organically designed 2D platformer RPG with great play mechanics. Yes, it won’t attract a non-expert audience as it is clearly targeted towards Wonder Boy/World loyalists, but diehard fans who have played the existing catalogue extensively will get the fix they need from Aggelos.

What is in place with Etherborn is very good, and if you are after a taxing puzzler which will push and pull the grey matter in ways other games can’t, then you should certainly consider a purchase. Just be aware that you may well be left wanting more as the end credits roll.
