    The cities may change, you will upgrade your establishments over time and gain more and more money, however, the essence of the gameplay is doing the same thing over and over again. For some this will be quite addicting, for others it may be quite boring, so keep that in mind if you try to give Marenian Tavern Story: Patty and the Hungry God a shot.

    There are ways that we could have seen a less ‘grindy’ experience but if you’re after something unique then Marenian Tavern Story: Patty and the Hungry God is certainly a game worthy of your time.

KEMCO once again deliversMarenian Tavern Story's presentation sets the scene and with detailed graphics and a sound that fits the game well. KEMCO once again delivers us a new release in Marenian Tavern Story: Patty and the Hungry God, which may be my favorite so far due to its very addictive gameplay. Since we're in similar genres with their release, Marenian Tavern Story plays out the same way as the previous titles that KEMCO has recently released, which is definitely a good thing. This time around though there is an interesting food mechanic that brings you attachment to the characters and on the whole this mechanic is interesting and stays fresh during the journey. The combat follows suit, although I would always welcome more enemy variety in any game of this genre. There’s also a great deal of depth in the game’s story and when combined with the games presentation, I found myself getting emotionally attached to the characters within the story. Marenian Tavern Story: Patty and the Hungry God has a nice retro vibe, but it also offers you a modern experience thrown in as well which makes the game an enjoyable experience. KEMCO does it again with another recommended purchase and addition to your Xbox One library. Bravo Kemco, bravo.… Expand
