Overall and whilst Decay probably won’t give you the biggest scare, it is certainly an interesting tale. It has enough to keep the player going on, tells an original story and focuses more on the classic horror elements; it’s not afraid of delivering brain-teasing puzzles that would leave you guessing for hours.

Decay’s biggest drawback is that it hasn’t aged very well at all, in fact, it’s aged terribly, and for as scary as it can be, it’s a tough one to recommend. If you’ve a soft spot for the series, the game’s comeback, with all of its additional extras, will no doubt please you. If you’re a newcomer, on the other hand, and you’re looking for a horror that’s engaging, deep, and diverse, there are far better options available in the storefront for around the same cost.

The game starts out with a failed attempt atDecay brings the all 4 episodes of XBLIG horror adventure Point-and-Click to the Xbox One. The game starts out with a failed attempt at suicide on a noose in your bathroom. Waking up with no memory of what happened, or even why you were trying to kill yourself, you search the immediate area for answers, and an escape. With no hints, or direction, you unravel each unnerving scene and attempt to keep your composure. With an interesting navigation system, most rooms have the possibility to look around at different angles in search of clues. The intrigue deepens with each of the 4 episodes and the challenges presented never stop making you think. Even with it's age, Decay will always challenge new players, and scare the crap out of those unprepared souls. I won't delve deeper into the story as to avoid a Spoiler tag, because there are still those who haven't experienced this creepy adventure. With a lack of polish, length, or story depth, and limited but decisive interaction, Decay is still a dark gritty horror game that will make you think, and keep some chills running down your spine. Here's the chance to finish the story for those who missed an Episode during it's original release. If you like to think, love a good chill our two, or want to revisit Decay form the XBLIG days, don't pass up the 4 Episode collection! Expand
