Baboon! is a beautiful, yet infuriating puzzler-cum-platformer that is fun yet fiendishly difficult in places. With a great art style and a catchy soundtrack to boot, Baboon! is a game that will put a smile on your face, and then quickly wipe it away with the challenge it throws at you.

Desert Ashes is a game for strategy game virgins and beginners. Even with some of it's simplistic scenarios, you will be acclimated to the genre easily, and it will leave you with a hunger that, sadly, it cannot fill due to its short length.

A standout combat system with deep customization, this game could've really been something special had it not been for the mediocre state of most everything around it.

The story could use more depth and the framedrops are a bit annoying but easy to forgive. The online multiplayer is a great way to extend gameplay and works very well.

Ninja Senki DX boasts masterful level design, with fun and challenging gameplay ideal for fans of platformers of old. Just don't expect to find anything particularly groundbreaking or unique.

The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel is a decent game - it has a few flaws that make it hard to recommend to everyone (especially regarding the story), but if you're a fan of the series or genre then it's certainly worth a look.

Norn9 is perhaps one of the less interesting in a recent burst of Visual Novels to hit the Vita, the story seems to take far too long to go anywhere and ends somewhat abruptly. The games main saviour however is the quirky Norn9 Quest mode, which was more interesting than the main games story.

Simply put it isn't for strategy newcomers, and it isn't for an impatient gamer; if you do decide to pick it up and enjoy it, then you'll have hours of content to enjoy.

A crazy and charming beat 'em up that is fun to play in short bursts. The gameplay begins to become repetitive quickly but a wide variety of customization options helps to make things laughably fun. It's a lighthearted good time that manages to not take itself seriously at all.

MeiQ is a dungeon crawler with a fun battle system and tonnes of customising options for your party. The poor story, large amount of backtracking and lack of fulfilling side quests really let the game down though. It's fun but there are better dungeon crawlers out there.

A fun and clever puzzle game that will haunt your mind. Beneath its simplistic look is a game full of charm and challenges. Glitchy Pixel's slow paced puzzler is a great addition to the Vita's ever growing library of games.

Crazy Market is a fun and interesting game, but is hindered by slight technical issues and the presence of microtransactions.

Atelier Firis brings an open world environment to the table, but also brings back time limits. They don't quite work together, but thankfully the second half of the game does away with these limits - allowing you to fully explore this beautiful new world. A step up in some ways, and maybe a step back in others, Atelier Firis isn't quite the sequel fans hoped it would be - but it's not a bad game at all.

Tokyo Twilight Ghost Hunters is a nice addition to the Vita’s library, and is different from most games that are being released for the system lately - just don’t expect to be too impressed; ghosts exist, and middling games as well.

It's not a bad game by any stretch of the imagination, but its short duration and uneven difficulty doesn't match up with its unique world.

While you won't find many unique ideas or a shiny polish here, you will find a competent roleplaying title that offers mild fun and challenge.

Handball 16 is a worthwhile alternative to FIFA if you're missing a sports game on your Vita this year. It's not perfect and there is certainly room for improvement. Handball 16 is difficult, addicting and fun, but should've including Online Multiplayer as part of the package.

Super Blackout is a super challenging puzzle game that has an easy to grasp concept to very difficult puzzles. The bare bones approach may cut out any cruft from the game, but it also leaves some features (like sharing user generated levels) clearly absent. Puzzle lovers looking for a great challenge will have to look no further than Super Blackout.

Dreii is a clever game that plays great on the PlayStation Vita. It is just a shame that for a game that relies on teamwork there is hardly anyone to play with. This doesn't mean that you can't have fun on your own, but once you have experienced Dreii's multiplayer, going solo will make the minimalistic stages feel even emptier than they already are.

Finishing Entwined is a bittersweet experience. One on hand I was happy to have escaped the extremely repetitive gameplay, while on the other hand I just felt that with a little more variation, Entwined could have been so much more.

Super Star Wars is a fun game that is meant only for fans of the series -- anyone unfamiliar or who dislikes it won't be satisfied. Despite its outdated graphics and puzzling difficulty, players will find a solid experience as they step into a galaxy far, far away.

The Legend of Dark Witch is an indie action platformer with fun characters and beautiful pixel art. While it is short in length, it rewards multiple playthroughs - but still won't be likely to last anybody playing it seriously more than a weekend. The most glaring flaws here are the high initial entry point and unfortunately blurry graphics, but if you can grab the game on sale then it comes recommended.

A game that is definitely stuck in the past. With a crude and crass lead character that definitely does feel out of place in the 21st Century, the saving grace for this title is that the level design and gameplay will keep you hooked.

A unique and fun theatre setting, great dialogue and interesting characters are unfortunately not enough to hide the fact that Foul Play is ultimately quite a repetitive and shallow side-scrolling brawler. Fun to play with a friend and in short doses but is unlikely to keep you engrossed for long.

Air Race Speed has some good ideas but unfortunately the full package falls short of some of the promise displayed. There are some high speed thrills to be found for those with a speed craving but the game feels like it needs more to feel like the complete package.

Crimsonland is a fun top-down shooter and is a great experience on the PS Vita; there is a lot happening on the small screen and the short campaign levels are perfect for playing on a handheld. The survival mode is a lot of fun and the reason to keep coming back.

Flyhunter Origins has well-written characters and fun level-design, but performance issues hold it back from being a great PS Vita platformer.
