A Rose in the Twilight has plenty of good ideas - but they're buried under slow gameplay, a scattered plot, and some frustrating design. Despite all this, there's a solid puzzle-platformer with some touching moments to be found here; and although it's not one I can recommend wholeheartedly, it's fun enough for the price that it's worth checking out.- The Vita Lounge

It follows in the formula of the games before it with lots of challenges to complete and objects to find, but the story is a bit obscure if you're not already familiar with the source material.- The Vita Lounge

It's simple and won't last you very long, but packs a lot of charm and fun in there. Suited for those that like a slightly taxing challenge and colourful animals. Or blowing them up.- The Vita Lounge

BigFest is a welcome addition to the Vita library, especially with the management-sim genre criminally neglected on the handheld. The premise is simple and is executed extremely well. The game will certainly get people hooked once they start playing - although for how long is a question that only time will tell!- The Vita Lounge

You don't have to be a fan to One Piece to enjoy it. Sure it helps, but I found it fun regardless.- The Vita Lounge

Its gameplay focuses on short, fast-paced playthroughs for on-the-go play. If you've been itching for something similar to Spelunky, but also love the Mystery Dungeon series and the JRPG genre, One Way Heroics is a neat combination of all three.- The Vita Lounge

Despite the simplified gameplay elements, Civilization Revolution 2 Plus is an engrossing and enjoyable title, and may well fill that strategy itch you may be having. A lack of multiplayer does impact on its long term lifespan and some may find it too simple.- The Vita Lounge

Period: Cube has an interesting setting and gorgeous design, but is weighed down by some odd choices in content. Refreshing mechanical additions to the visual novel genre are much appreciated, but after fully completing the game you probably won't be itching to come back for more.- The Vita Lounge

Corpse Party: Blood Drive had the makings of being one of the all time greats for the PS Vita but technical problems prevent the game from achieving that goal. But if you can look past the problems, there's a fantastic story that's there for long time Corpse Party fans.- The Vita Lounge

The BIT.TRIP almost certainly has something for you; however, it also almost certainly has a few games that aren't for you. If you take a look at the games and a few pique your interest, I'd say it's worth your time despite the two or three you won't enjoy.- The Vita Lounge

With some fantastic enemies and well thought out puzzling gameplay you will find a very challenging and satisfying game here, but there may well come a point where that challenge transfers into frustration and rage, and outside of the boss encounters the game really doesn't offer much else.- The Vita Lounge

Spheroids is a fun little arcade game that takes the bouncing ball menace into 2017, despite a few technical issues and a lack of difficulty the game can conjure up some great gameplay that's hard to beat.- The Vita Lounge

Don't Die, Mr. Robot! is a game that is simplistic in design and execution yet difficult to master and harder to put down! If you can get past the look of this game, you will find a challenging and fun time awaits.- The Vita Lounge

Nidhogg is a wild and frantic fighting games that takes gameplay to the extreme. Its ultra-retro graphics provide a unique look that stands out in a crowd. The game shines as a local multiplayer fighter but drops dead when it comes to the single player campaign.- The Vita Lounge

Fairune is a charming puzzle game. While it can sometimes be a bit frustrating trying to work out what you need to do in order to advance, once you figure out how the game works you'll be eagerly racing from puzzle to puzzle - trying to see what exciting area you'll uncover next.- The Vita Lounge

In so many ways the most ambitious Vita LEGO title yet. Despite this it feels a little empty on content and the short story is very disappointing. Marvel fans will enjoy what's here but it could have been so much more.- The Vita Lounge

Spider: Rite of the Shrouded Moon is a puzzle game with an intriguing background mystery to it. It has a unique weather and time system which will have you replaying levels to try to uncover all of the game's mysteries. If you're a puzzle game fan then this is an easy one to recommend to you.- The Vita Lounge

Nihilumbra is an interesting concept and a short and sweet title that not only looks great but also uses some of the features that a lot of developers forget the Vita actually has, Nihilumbra is one of the more unique titles on Vita and if you're looking for something different, you should definitely give it a go.- The Vita Lounge

Laser Disco Defenders is a very visually appealing game with a great toe-tapping soundtrack. However the difficulty barrier is set so high and feels so much more unforgiving when compared to its contemporaries that it feels like it may have done itself a slight disservice by only allowing players with the absolute highest levels of skill and patience to sample most of what it has to offer.- The Vita Lounge

Shiren the Wanderer: The Tower of Fortune and the Dice of Fate is a beautiful game with solid combat and a myriad of items and features to find along the way. It's too bad that its punishing nature makes it less enjoyable the longer you play it.- The Vita Lounge

Dynasty Warriors 8: Empires is a typical hack-and-slash with an empire management side. Newcomers might be slightly disinterested by the repetitive nature of the game, but fans of the genre will find that it packs quite a bit of content and has a lot of replay value.- The Vita Lounge

An average platformer that does show its age on the PlayStation Vita. Still fun and humorous in parts, the game is arguably the weakest entry in the Oddworld franchise and only makes the wait for New 'n' Tasty seem that little bit longer.- The Vita Lounge

A Great game that is perfect in short bursts, but a high price tag, and obvious signs of age harm what could otherwise be a fantastic experience. Pocket RPG is Definitely worth picking up if it ends up in a sale.- The Vita Lounge

It may not be pretty, it may not be ground-breaking, but what Earth Defense Force 2 lacks in creativity it makes up in the sheer scale of its ridiculous, addictive and fun B-movie style action.- The Vita Lounge
