Citizens of Earth is a game that spends too much time trying to feed on people's notalgia then trying to be unique or fresh. An old combat system is reborn, but then instantly gets old again. It also offers far too much in the way of side quests that the games main quest, which never seems to pick up anyway, even more forgettable.

Adventures of Mana proves to be a fun trip down memory lane, however archaic design choices leave you wondering what could have been rather than what you have. It acts as an interesting history lesson as to where the roots of the Mana series began, but unfortunately it amounts to little more than that.

Desert Ashes is a game for strategy game virgins and beginners. Even with some of it's simplistic scenarios, you will be acclimated to the genre easily, and it will leave you with a hunger that, sadly, it cannot fill due to its short length.

Lichtspeer takes a simple idea and makes it colourful, challenging, and fun. Its quirky humor will win you over, and there's some addictive high-score chasing to be done, but some frustrating encounters may detract from an otherwise impressive package.

Operation Abyss: New Tokyo Legacy has all the makings for a great RPG, but there are many design choices that prevents it from succeeding. For many dungeon crawler RPG fans, Operation Abyss will be enough to wet the lips, but not quench the thirst.

IguanaBee hit the nail on the head of creativity and capturing my attention with their unique character and world design. Unfortunately, the same cannot be said about the gameplay, which is unusually redundant for such a short game.

Period: Cube has an interesting setting and gorgeous design, but is weighed down by some odd choices in content. Refreshing mechanical additions to the visual novel genre are much appreciated, but after fully completing the game you probably won't be itching to come back for more.

Addictive, challenging and most importantly fun to play, Hotline Miami 2: Wrong Number is an ambitious sequel which excels in its story telling, artistic style and soundtrack, Bloody Brilliant.

Kick and Fennick is easily one of the most exciting new IP's to hit PlayStation Vita, and as Jaywalkers Interactive's first release, is a very impressive effort. Be sure to pick this up and play it, you won't be disappointed!

With a beautiful art style and highly infectious soundtrack, Futuridium EP Deluxe is a challenging shoot 'em up which just feels right on PS Vita.

Adding a creative spin to the done-to-death Match-3 puzzle genre, NekoBuro: CatsBlock is a fun, addictive and down right adorable puzzler bursting with colour and charm.

The amount of content for the price offers a great amount of value, but the consistency in quality just isn't there.

With a decent story and a lot of replay value this title could last you a while and is available at a sensible price, but it's not without its issues and will take up a huge chunk of your memory card. However, it is worth playing and if you enjoy and want more games like these on the Vita then you should consider supporting it.

Trillion is not a game that will be to everyones tastes, it is unique and fun to play, but many players may find that it's trying to hard to be too different and therefore complicates itself, but if you're looking for a JRPG or SRPG with a unique spin then Trillion is definitely worth a look.

Sketchcross brings a new type of logic puzzle to the Vita, and while these nonograms start off interesting, they eventually become a frustrating guessing game. Some odd design choices are confusing, but when the puzzles work the game is solid.

Crimsonland is a fun top-down shooter and is a great experience on the PS Vita; there is a lot happening on the small screen and the short campaign levels are perfect for playing on a handheld. The survival mode is a lot of fun and the reason to keep coming back.

Xenoraid is a competent shooter that brings some interesting ideas to the table. Missing co-op renders the Vita port inferior to versions on other platforms.

Akiba's Trip is filled with the things an otaku loves; strange plots, fanservice, Japanese culture/references and a great location. What it doesn't offer however, is a lot of depth, an overly lengthy story line or any shame.

Jet Car Stunts is a challenging and addictive platform racer. It is visually stunning and brutally difficult. It is a thrill to play that would benefit from some added content. It's not a traditional racing game by any means, but it is full of frustrating fun.

Tokyo Twilight Ghost Hunters is a nice addition to the Vita’s library, and is different from most games that are being released for the system lately - just don’t expect to be too impressed; ghosts exist, and middling games as well.

Dynasty Warriors: Godseekers is a brave attempt to take the over the top action of Dynasty Warriors and combine it with more strategic type gameplay. The result is a good - if unrefined - strategy game that is more than enough to scratch that tactical itch.

One Piece: Burning Blood is a good fighting game that will appeal to fans of the anime whilst still being simple enough for newcomers to pick up and play. Although the game's story mode is rather short, there is plenty here to keep you entertained and ensure you will be satisfied during your stay in the One Piece world!

If you can overlook its technical issues and unsavoury presentation, you just might enjoy yourself. Those with an appetite for addictive, challenging gameplay and a mass amount of replay value will be more than satisfied with their zombie-infested helping.

Good old-school adventure gameplay with very little else to be admired in its other aspects. For those who love unabashed, lowbrow humor, Demetrios might be the game for you. But if compelling narratives and likeable characters are more your thing, perhaps you should look somewhere else.

If you're looking for an introduction to the beat 'em up genre, look no further - as MegaTagmension Blanc + Neptune VS Zombies is a prime choice for just that very purpose. That said, anyone else may have a hard time finding a challenge, and the story just isn't all that cohesive or memorable.

While Bon Appetit! may not be up there with the likes of Project Diva and DJ Max, it carves its own little niche into my playlist with a unique blend of fanservice, originality, customization and rhythm.
