Terminator Resistance is a mediocre title. Gunplay in not so bad, but the game looks old and never offers engaging or exciting moments. Fun for a couple of hours and nothing more.- The Games Machine

A very pleasant and engaging adventure, Flint: Treasure of Oblivion reaches the goal without distorting the genre and not inventing anything particularly new in the scenario of tacticians with RPG elements. Shuffle the cards on the table by taking inspiration from Baldur's Gate 3, inserting the dice mechanic and, in the meantime, detail an intense story polished to reach as many players as possible. If you haven't read Treasure Island, you want to get closer to Stevenson and then buy this toy here, then this adventure could give you unexpected emotions.- The Games Machine

This fifth installment of the Mario & Sonic series is a nice multi-event sports title, although a little too easy for an experienced gamer. It's pretty clear that the targeted audience is younger gamers, and they'll have a lot of fun, thanks to the eye-candy graphics, the local multiplayer (not online, though) and a roster of well-known and loved characters.- The Games Machine

Endless Ocean Luminous is not the dream sequel I always hoped for to Arika's beloved submarine series. The change of direction has favoured the co-operative component, but has mutilated the original experience of many interesting and distinctive features. The purely educational aspect remains, and the possibility of organising dives together with such a large number of friends is not to be underestimated, but I wouldn't recommend the game to those who are only interested in reliving the fascinating sensations of the original chapters on Wii.- The Games Machine

This final episode of the Assassin's Creed spin-off finally lives up to its potential, with a mix of platform and stealth elements, a frantic gameplay, a robust level design, and an excellent art direction.- The Games Machine

Let's put aside the controversies about the Metal Gear saga, and talk about the game, and what it can really offer. The idea of mixing the gameplay of Metal Gear Solid V with a survival setting could have really worked, but the truth is that the very foundation of the game is pretty weak and messy. There are some fun and challenging moments, but overall it feels like a wasted opportunity.- The Games Machine

One cannot conceive of combining the irreverent spirit of the Suicide Squad with a formula plastered around what one considers to be the most marketable fashions at the moment. The risk is twofold, namely that of creating a game that dresses poorly around the lead characters, but also that of arriving outside, deflated fashions. Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League stumbles over both of these mistakes. Yet here and there flashes of fun situations emerge, the characters have charisma, the writing is good with spikes of excellent quality, and Rocksteady knows how to do their job technically. Let's hope the live service experiments with superhero groups are over here.- The Games Machine

While Stray Blade occasionally shows glimpses of the care and effort Point Blank obviously put into it, the end result winds up not too convincing, mostly due to a general lack of polish and balance.- The Games Machine

The risk of being repetitive or boring in some situations, the insipid narrative and a perfectible technical sector work against it, yet not everything is to be thrown away because Skull and Bones has potential, I can perceive it while I sail its seas juggling between PVE clashes and other players who, like me, aspire to the title of pirate king. Unfortunately, the problems during development end up being reflected in a live service which, despite the intriguing pirate setting, in the current state of things appears incapable of standing out from the crowd to rival the giants of the genre.- The Games Machine

Had it been released in the middle of the last generation, perhaps Unknown 9: Awakening would have had a different effect. Today it is really hard to be impressed by a video game like this, technically and conceptually too old in which the only thing that is promoted is the story.- The Games Machine

Mario Party: The Top 100 values quantity over quality, with a huge array of different events tied by a very basic connection. The overall result is basically an opportunity to regret how good and passionate the old chapters were.- The Games Machine

Micro Machines World Series could have been a great game, but it simply isn’t. Codemasters worked for the bare minimum, and it’s a shame. The formula still works and entertains, but the game has a saddening lack of content, an absurd online system, and it won’t be saved by some new, interesting game modes.- The Games Machine

Rustler has some obvious technical and structural limitations but it is the first to laugh at them because it knows you should never take yourself too seriously. That's what it does and that's how it goes for the player too, who cannot avoid to be captivated by the absurd medieval setting, by the old style gameplay and by mountains of elegant vulgarity.- The Games Machine

Warcraft III is still one of the best RTS ever made, yet this Reforged edition is just a lazy remaster. That’s because many features are missing and the game is plagued by a significant number of technical issues.- The Games Machine

Necropolis is a mix of action-oriented dungeon crawler and souls-like's combat. The game is intriguing as we thought, but the variety and depth of settings and enemies paradoxically remain confined to a small range of creativity.- The Games Machine

Gothic Classic Switch is a cleaned and revised edition of Piranha Bytes' classic masterpiece. The innovations around camera and inventory management are just a plus in front of a title that, despite being twenty years old, still works like it used to.- The Games Machine

Ufo Robot Goldrake The Feast of Wolves is unfortunately a mediocre game, so much so that I would not recommend it even to the most die-hard fans of the iconic robot, except at a discounted price. Like the original material, it is a product aimed at a young audience, ironically at the antipodes of the old-timers who are supposed to represent the hardcore Actarus fans.- The Games Machine

Generally, the fun curve of managerial games starts to go downhill when we have learned to gather resources, build facilities, and research technologies in the right sequence. At that point everything becomes routine and we are no longer surprised by anything. Undead Inc. manages to keep the interest a little longer thanks to various unlockable content but mostly because it touches on a hot topic in recent times, and earning billions on the lives of patients proves sadistically fascinating. Those who enjoyed Fallout Shelter will love this variation set in the cruel world of speculative medicine.- The Games Machine

Anthem is a hymn to laziness, where a great potential is held back by strong repetitiveness, the absence of some basic features and the artificially increased level of difficulty. Moreover, BioWare and Electronic Arts made an incomplete product, a mere idea of a full game with the promise that each patch will bring us closer to what we might call a final product. Still, is it possible to have fun with a group of friends and spend some pleasant time exploring or fighting? Sure, but the experience will quickly turn into an infinite loop devoid of any goal.- The Games Machine

A clumsy attempt by Square Enix to reach the heights of the first three chapters, but the lack of personality and boldness, together with some technical issues and slightly flawed gameplay, make this fifth installment a game for hardcore fans only.- The Games Machine

By borrowing here and there from the past Sledgehammer has played it too safe, but has forgotten to provide fans with truly new and valid reasons to dig into their wallets again this year. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III seems like a DLC that is saved thanks to more solid gameplay than ever, but much more is needed to enter the hearts of fans.- The Games Machine
