The main concept of Mario Sports Superstars is not a bad one: five intriguing sports (some of them already played in their stand-alone versions), for a title specifically designed for multiplayer. Unfortunately, there's not too much content to go on, and the multiplayer itself could have been handled much, much better.- The Games Machine

Tempestfall is better as an adventure into the grim world of Age of Sigmar than a dual-wielding weapon, spell-casting combat game as a Stormcast Eternal. Confused? Me too.- The Games Machine

It is exciting to play a shooter, it is a satisfying to play strategy game. Doing both things at the same time, it is just glorious. Disintegration is extremely balanced for being the first take at this new genre, and it is very well polished, too. The worldbuilding is fascinating, the story is not too bad, but the writing of characters and dialogues is terrible. Luckily the game is just so good.- The Games Machine

My mind has not yet been able to fully grasp Wavey's wave movements, but the UpperRoom Games’ title is undoubtedly an original and intelligent "platform" that brings to mind the glories of Sonic launched at crazy speed through his articulated and strange levels.- The Games Machine

To appreciate Conan Unconquered it is necessary to close both eyes on its limits and bear the bizarre design choices, but if it is true that perseverance pays, it is also true that one can get tired much earlier.- The Games Machine

A Namco-centric collection of classics, which will be interesting exclusively to ex-Nintendo owners. Not exactly a mandatory buy for the others.- The Games Machine

Shattered Space is a DLC that expands the lore of the world of Starfield, detailing a pleasant and well-conceiveded tale, which makes clear the gruesome and brutal plot of House Va'ruun, which absolutely deserves consideration, from now on. From a playful point of view, here, I would have expected a little more, with some additions as has happened in the past with other Bethesda works. The final result is still very good.- The Games Machine

Despite some flaws, Lucid Dream certainly deserves a chance because of its wonderful surreal setting – entirely hand drawn – and the events that revolve around the little, "Alice-like" protagonist.- The Games Machine

We tried very hard to like FlatOut 4, but we simply couldn't. Despite some fun game modes and a decent multiplayer offering, the gameplay is overall confusing and bugs are everywhere. And the steep price doesn't help either.- The Games Machine

Warparty offers the right compromise between the immediacy of the first RTS games and the depth of the last representatives of the genre, putting every element in the right place and carrying out its task in an excellent way.- The Games Machine

Lost Soul Aside is one of those titles that, once you've played it, makes you realize the difference between knowing a video game series well and developing one. There are several elements worth saving, but they're not helped at all by the context in which they were inserted. And the idea of launching everything at a premium price also lowers the appeal of the offering.- The Games Machine

Malicious Fallen could've been a really fun and engaging experience, but it falls short because of all its small flaws. The combat system is good, but everything else would have benefited from more polish. At the end of the day, it's a quirk that will please fans of action games, such as Bayonetta and Devil May Cry.- The Games Machine

Tales of the Neon Sea makes the cyberpunk arguments of Blade Runner its own, embedding them in a valuable work in pixel art, and managing to give us back some of that sound old 1980s science fiction that, for one reason or another, continues to fascinate us. The gameplay, however, is plagued by repetitive mechanics and some puzzles suffer from a bad translation from Chinese into English.- The Games Machine

Predator Hunting Grounds could have been a good product, thanks to the franchise from which it draws inspiration, staging an engaging show capable of bringing to the field one of the most fascinating alien in the Hollywood history. Unfortunately, the realization of this title, as its brother Friday 13: The Game, makes it hard to be bought at full price, leaving us only the hope a good post launch support to save it from auto-destruction.- The Games Machine

This is not the game that will bring instant glory to Too Kyo Games, as World's End Club is rather mediocre. The narrative is intriguing, but the arcade sequences are visually very basic and offer little to no challenge. A half faux pas, considering the developers behind it.- The Games Machine

Yu-Gi-Oh! Rush Duel: Dawn of Battle Royale modernizes the formula by changing some of the core mechanics of the card game, and the result is a quicker, faster-paced gameplay that is fun to play. Unfortunately, under the technical aspect the game is not as exciting, with frequent and inexplicable frame drops and a drab open world.- The Games Machine

If I had to define Crossfire: Legion in one word, I’d use “competent”. If I could use more than one word, I’d say “competent, but overall lacking in personality.” While it’s not a bad game by any means, it also never really shines, it never surprises, and it doesn’t leave a mark. It doesn’t help that, despite a good variety of multiplayer game modes, the population has already dropped to a few dozen players. Still a decent choice if you’re itching for more RTS gameplay, but don’t expect to be blown away.- The Games Machine

Mato Anomalies is a video game with an interesting premise, but with an execution that is barely capable of keeping up with other turn-based RPGs. Its noir atmospheres mixed with a cyberpunk setting are extremely seductive, but under the bonnet of an interesting vintage car there is an engine whose roar really fails to impress.- The Games Machine

World of Warriors is a melee action game with tons of special powers and modifiers, and a frantic yet deep gameplay. The single player campaign offers a good variety of events and locations, and unlocks that do not need in-App purchases (although grinding remains mandatory if you want to succeed in the boss fights). A great and addictive time-consuming experience, even on PlayStation 4.- The Games Machine

Much like Verdun, its predecessor, Tannenberg offers an authentic and engaging First World War experience. Those who enjoy tactical, more realistic shooters will love it; everyone else should consider giving it a chance, but be warned that the game was made on a limited budget and it shows.- The Games Machine

Lust from Beyond is a more-than-average first person adventure dealing with difficult topics, such as psychiatric diseases, sexuality and the very idea of a cult based exclusively on physical pleasure. It does so by building an almost convincing narrative structure, without skimping on the crude representation of sex and violence, managing to maintain a difficult balance with all the other components of the game. The technical quality, however, is fluctuating, with 3D models that seem to come out of some game 20 years ago, animations at the limit of decency and sudden "coughs" of the script.- The Games Machine

Godfall is not a title without its charms. The combat system is solid and satisfying, and technically, the game is great proof of PlayStation 5’s potential. But cramming levels full of particles effects and shining lights does not necessarily make for good aesthetic design, and Godfall also suffers from a weak story and repetitive endgame.- The Games Machine

Bandai Namco and CyberConnect2 tried really hard to create something new. Despite the good fan service, JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Eyes of Heaven doesn't manage to emerge from the many anime tie-ins released in these past few years. Good for a fun evening with friends, bound to be forgotten as soon as the last guest leaves the house.- The Games Machine
