FIFA 18 improves the previous game in every aspect, with the Frostbite engine which takes animation and physics to a brand new level of quality. The gameplay is fun and lets you play a wonderful offensive football, while the new full manual defense is quite harsh to manage. Overall, the game offers a huge and deep football experience, thanks to a solid single player (with the new Career mode and the awesome second season of The Journey) and endless multiplayer action.

Giving a score to a game like Destiny 2 is a difficult task: on one hand, the new game from Bungie offers a variety of content so huge, it literally makes your head spin; on the other hand, here and there something is missing, and it often seems like something you'll find in a future expansion or DLC. Anyway, a truly amazing game.

PES 2018 is like the Dr.Jekyll and Mr.Hyde of videogames: troubled when played offline, very good when played online. Project CARS 2 is still a rough diamond, but with a couple of patches Slightly Mad Studios could unleash all the potential of a real racing sim gem. Out of the box, anyway, the game offers one of the best race experiences on the market, with a great driving model which is amazing, played both with a joypad and a racing wheel. Sometimes the AI is still too aggressive and hits too hard on the throttle even when it should not, and the Rallycross experience is quite clumsy, but overall, with this great offer of tracks and cars, if you love to race in every possible weather condition and you want to feel the real meaning of bagarre, Project CARS 2 is definitely your brutal, physical and thrilling racing game.

Get Even is an excellent psychological thriller, crippled by some uninspired and dull action sequences, and a weak enemy AI. Nonetheless, the plot and the way the story is told make for an excellent experience, one that is definitely worth enjoying.

Despite God Wars Future Past looks technically out of time and its plot isn't particularly interesting, is a very good turn-based tactical game that fits perfectly on PS Vita rather than on PS4.

Beat Cop is an intriguing and entertaining re-imagining of the police TV shows of the ’80s, with a clever design, some action and lot of choices for the player. There are always too many things to do, and too little time to do them, and as any real cop knows, boredom is part of the process.

Compared to the first release of The Elder Scrolls Online, Morrowind is far more balanced, the overall quality has improved and it has the right amount of nostalgia. Probably not the best MMO around, but if you ever wanted to give it a try, now is the right moment.

Steel Division: Normandy 44 is an excellent old-school RTS, probably one of the best historical videogames of the past few years: it's complex, engaging, with a deep gameplay, truthful to the events of the WWII, and an excellent multiplayer component.

Star Trek: Bridge Crew has solid gameplay and offers plenty of variety, thanks to the availability of two ships, two game modes and four very different roles. Trekkies will love it from start to finish, but there's no denying that it could have been better, especially from a graphical standpoint.

DiRT 4 relies heavily on its own procedural editor, and it shows in the long run, when you start to recognize and react to the different building blocks. Nonetheless, it's a pretty fine racing game, one that is extremely fun and addictive.

What a pity! Impact Winter could have been a great survival game, but it's affected by so many issues that it's impossible to reward Mojo Bones' work with more than a generous sixty-five. Anyhow, you should keep an eye on it: the future patches could fix at least the major bugs and transform a caterpillar in a wonderful butterfly.

Samurai Warriors: Spirit of Sanada is not the best musou ever created, but if you're looking for something simple and fun, this new offering from Koei Tecmo might be a good choice. Unless, of course, you have a peculiar dislike for the genre.

Unit 4 is a bit of a roller coaster: some levels can be too punishing for the player, while some boss battles are truly exhilarating. The first title from Gamera Interactive feels like a missed opportunity, and the general art direction doesn't help. A decent platform, like so many others.
