The Swords of Ditto: Mormo's Curse may have some room for improvement but provides a lot of a joy and endless hours of gameplay. It's fun and darn right adorable and that's enough for me!- The Digital Fix

Void Bastards might be the perfect introductory roguelite for beginners. Retaining all of your hard-earned weapons and upgrades across deaths – coupled with not starting on the same boring level with every new character – makes this a more user-friendly take on the genre than we’re used to. The nail-biting tension that it starts with doesn’t last for the entire journey, but it’s worth experiencing for the gorgeous aesthetic alone.- The Digital Fix

Beautiful in its simplicity, The Almost Gone is definitely a game that won’t appeal to everyone, but for this reviewer, it was a worthwhile experience. Some frustratingly obtuse puzzle solutions aside, the 3D point and click gaming is well-designed, and the minimalist art style fits perfectly. It also packs an emotional punch for anyone familiar with the tragic issues portrayed, which it deals with sensitively and powerfully.- The Digital Fix

The game engine is superb, and it’s easy to forget you’re not playing an actual table which, all told, is the biggest compliment that we can pay Balance of the Force.- The Digital Fix

A tough, technical fighter with a lot of resources to help you conquer it. Shame about the story mode, though.- The Digital Fix

This is a great adventure series which has chosen to focus on the narrative side of things and is all the better for it. This third chapter is the best so far.- The Digital Fix

For a game whose hero is only one letter short from being named after the greatest monster of the past century, Ys: Memories of Celceta doesn’t do too badly at all. Sure, the lack of vocal tracks and the balance issues conspire to stop the game from reaching its full potential, but it’s still a game that can stand proud both on the Vita and within the Ys catalogue.- The Digital Fix

Games have been around long enough to poke fun at themselves and their cinematic predecessors, and while other titles like Viewtiful Joe and Saints Row: The Third have both got their fair share of jollies from doing this, it's arguable that no game until now as done so with such vigour as Battleblock Theater.- The Digital Fix

While Shadow Legends does not quite scratch that VR fantasy RPG itch I have had for a while. What it does is immersive, fun and well worth your time. The combat is great with a lot of weapons to experiment with and each battle is enjoyable. The tracking is good and the VR implementation is great. What are you waiting for? Get out there and slay some of the undead.- The Digital Fix

Come for the puzzles, enjoy the odd bit of exposition and do all you can to ignore the ‘supporting’ mechanics then and you’ll probably have a great time – just try to keep a handle on your willpower and stop yourself from ruining the game yourself with all those easily accessible solutions.- The Digital Fix

The Detail is a valiant effort to bring gritty police drama to PC. Aside from some dialogue issues, the tone is flawless while the story offers up plenty of intrigue to keep any wannabe sleuth entertained for a few hours.- The Digital Fix

While it may have small performance issues and a stripped back graphical style some people may not enjoy, I adored Cloudpunk. I simply could not stop playing it, I was heavily immersed in Rania's story and was taken back by how invested I got in this dank, dark world. I am even thinking about playing it no and hopping back in to mop up the remaining trophies. Right that's it, I'm off to Nivalis.- The Digital Fix

Caught within a comic book, fight your way through as the protagonist Fury to help your creator overcome his doubt as an artist. A devilishly fun and extremely difficult rougelite that thankfully doesn't penalize you as harshly for dying as some within this genre. There is a steep learning curve in "Hard Mode" (technically normal mode) but there is an "Easy Mode" option with customizable parameters to make the game more accessible. Shoot, loot, and keep your combo going to shield you from enemies and collect health with each kill. You can even complete a whole run on one continuous combo, are you up to the task?- The Digital Fix

Dead or Alive 6 is a mechanically solid and foundationally sound fighting game. At its core, playing matches with others is a fun and thrilling experience that’s easy to grasp if you’re new to fighters or the series. Its lack of modes, however, coupled with its small roster, and a recently revealed $92 season pass raise a lot of questions as to what ideals drove the game’s development. For those looking for a well-designed core fighter, Dead or Alive 6 is definitely a great buy, whether you’re #Teamjiggle or #Teamnojiggle.- The Digital Fix

This is a great take on a 2D real-time strategy game, it has a good sense of humour, and most importantly; it is a lot of fun. The single-player campaign is well written, but the multi-player is where the game truly shines.- The Digital Fix

Technical difficulties aside, Horace is an endearing, nostalgic, platforming masterpiece. Even after having to start fresh at one point, I could not wait to jump right back in and play more. Which is pretty telling considering that, at its heart, this is a game about a robot cleaning up garbage. Once properly patched up to correct the minor technical issues, this game would whole-heartedly be a 10 out of 10 for this writer.- The Digital Fix

The Missing – J.J. MacField and the Island of Memories combined it's puzzle-platformer gameplay and narrative in a way that truly makes use of the medium and highlight's it's best potential. Difficult subject matter and a leaning toward the surreal drive a story that touches upon aspects of humanity that are rarely explored in games.- The Digital Fix

Journey To The Savage Planet is a short, sweet and near perfectly crafted puzzle platformer with a refreshing and satisfying take on co-op progression. Those who love to explore, climb into, under and on top of everything to find hidden areas in the games they play are in for a treat with this one.- The Digital Fix
