N++ is a platform game of near perfection. There are countless levels to explore, a boatload of collectables, and a satisfyingly steep difficulty curve that perfectionists will relish.- Switch Player

Disco Dodgeball Remix is a fun pick up and play game that does interesting things with a simple core idea, for those looking for some simple fun there's enough on offer here. However an uninteresting progression system means that you're either in this for the love of dodgeball or there wont be much to hold your interest.- Switch Player

Defoliation deserves no place on your Switch. It's a poor attempt at a visual novel, littered with shockingly translated dialogue and boring puzzles. Avoid!- Switch Player

Flashback is a great game that somehow manages to stand the test of time twenty five years later. The option to adjust the difficulty with the new Modern Mode should allow newcomers to ease into the admittedly brutal gameplay.- Switch Player

There is no particularly remarkable title in the entire Sparkle franchise. Even then, Sparkle Zero feels like the most barebones execution of the creature-evolving idea. With no quest system, creature variety and different environments, there’s no reason to start from zero here.- Switch Player

INK is a highly enjoyable platformer with a strong core mechanic of inking platforms in order to progress. Sadly, there's just not enough of it, and most players will breeze through it in just a few hours.- Switch Player

Perfect Angle looks to provide a short compelling experience and the interesting perspective mechanic is novel at first but the game quickly runs out of ideas and some minor design decisions only make some of the puzzles even more of a drag.- Switch Player

Runner3 is a thoroughly enjoyable return to form for Commander Video and friends, both as an advancement of the long-running indie series and its debut on Switch. Some minor, frustrating setbacks hold it back from greatness, but the rhythmic platforming the series is known for is present and as dynamic as ever.- Switch Player

Splatoon 2: Octo Expansion serves up something that is satisfying, challenging and entertaining in equal measure. It won’t redefine the core game, and you’ll probably finish it in a week, but it’s joyous exuberance more than makes up for it. A must for any Splatoon fan.- Switch Player

An improvement from last year's edition, but things are still too disappointing on the field. Glitches do seem to have been minimised after last year's effort, and a new mode gives some depth off the field, but I was looking for more thrills on it.- Switch Player

Those looking for a fairytale-like sense of wonder that pushes you to discover and explore will feel right at home at Hollow Knight. In a world where the Switch eShop is stacked with metroidvanias, few others are as in-depth or well-made as Team Cherry's hand-drawn modern classic.- Switch Player

Baobabs Mausoleum Episode 1: Ovnifagos Don't Eat Flamingos tries so hard to emulate its influences but misconstrues the difference between inspiration and imitation. Had it toned down the references might’ve been a more original game, maybe even an interesting one.- Switch Player

Soccer Slammers offers easy to pick up and super fast-paced arcade soccer action. It was never going to rival FIFA in the battle of the football games, but it offers unadulterated short burst fun in a way that its heavyweight rival doesn't.- Switch Player

Super Chariot is a release that hasn't come out to much fanfare but deserves a spot in your collection. A unique premise is coupled with some charming platforming action. Make sure you bring a friend, though, as that will improve the experience immensely.- Switch Player

From the very beginning, Yonder: The Cloud Catcher Chronicles impresses with its amazing visuals and soundtrack. It takes form as a relaxing open-world adventure, that features many elements of crafting and farming. While the later doesn’t perfectly fits with its openness nature, it is still an enjoyable experience nevertheless.- Switch Player

While it may attract criticism for the licensing issues that meant the absence of a number of boards from other versions of the game, The Pinball Arcade isn't dramatically worse for it due to the similarity of the experiences of each board. It's pinball, and it's table pinball. You know what you're getting.- Switch Player

Henry the Hamster Handler is a simple, inexpensive game that's simple and amusing, but that still doesn't make it worth a purchase. The problem is once I'd finished 10 of the games' 300 levels I'd seen it all. I can't help but feel more effort could have gone into creating some variety in the levels rather than churning them out in a similar fashion to the in-game hamsters themselves.- Switch Player

What The Fall offers in story and atmosphere is a little let down by some clunky controls. It's an enjoyable exploration which will be lengthened by some difficult puzzles if you don't use a guide, so by all means go for it if you didn't try it on Wii U.- Switch Player

Hexologic is a simplistic, relaxing puzzler that combines its calm music with some pleasing aesthetics and rewarding design. Whilst this does mean that it can be relatively easy to complete, it's cheap and makes a nice companion to watching TV or listening to a podcast after a long day. At such a low price point, it's hard to say no to another mobile game enhanced on the Switch.- Switch Player

Raging Justice offers as-it-says-on-the-tin beat-em-up action, but irritating controls make it not quite the seamless experience it could be. Fortunately, co-op and leaderboards will keep you coming back.- Switch Player

While it won’t scratch the itch for anyone looking for a competitive puzzler, there isn’t a music-based puzzler quite like Lumines Remastered so beautifully executed, and at an affordable price. The Trance Vibration gimmick you can take it or leave it, but you’ll still be able to bliss out regardless.- Switch Player
