It's like one of those trash movies: you feel somehow guilty but you still have fun playing it, thanks to the over-the-top action sequences and characters. Consider it if you like the brainless action genre and you can't wait for the bigger titles to come out the next month.- SpazioGames

An RPG, a grand strategy, a tycoon game and with a final touch of turn-based tactics, this is Empire of Sin, a game that skillfully manages to keep its various souls together.- SpazioGames

Decarnation is heavily inspired by Mulholland Drive and Satoshi Kon's works. It's a great psychological horror with a rich story, but also a derivative game with too many gameplay limitations.- SpazioGames

Mary Skelter 2 is a very solid dungeon crawler that will appeal to all fans of the genre, especially for its quirky story and dark tones. Not suitable for all newcomers, though: it's long, difficult and sometimes even obscure in some of its puzzles.- SpazioGames

Crimson Desert is the kind of game that makes you want to use the word “impressive” every three minutes, and then makes you feel guilty for doing so. Because impressive, technically and quantitatively, it truly is, but the impression it leaves, once the dust of hype has settled, is that of a title that was afraid to choose. Pearl Abyss built a vast world and then filled it with everything, as if emptiness were an enemy to be defeated through sheer volume of content. The result is a game that almost never gets boring, but that only rarely moves you in the deep, lasting way that the titles it borrows from manage to do.- SpazioGames

Even if very conservative in its nature, Disgaea 7 is a very solid entry in the franchise, thanks to some new ideas (such as the Kaiju-like transformation and the online asynchronous multiplayer) and hundreds of hours of content. But beware: the latest ones come at the cost of a lot of repetition and grinding.- SpazioGames

It doesn’t matter which console you play it on: Final Fantasy IX still remains a timeless masterpiece, and thus we can only be glad to see its success on the Nintendo digital store. However, this Switch edition is basically the same that was published on PS4 and PC on last two years, so if you already own it on one of these two platforms, there is no real need to buy it again.- SpazioGames

Detective Pikachu: The Return is a definite step forward from the first installment, but it still lacks that quality leap that could make this subseries a must for franchise fans. The main charm of the adventure lies in the charisma of its two protagonists and the opportunity to experience the Pokémon world in a different way compared to what the main series offers. However, the game's extreme simplicity, driven by the choice to make it accessible to a wide audience, may not satisfy all fans of the saga.- SpazioGames

Story of Seasons: A Wonderful Life brings one of the most beloved episodes of the franchise back to life, with new events and a revamped (albeit still old) presentation, but the lack of new features keeps this remake away from greatness.- SpazioGames

Mixtape knows what it wants to be, and it succeeds often enough to make it worth recommending. Beethoven & Dinosaur has crafted a small but sincere work where music doesn't accompany the story but generates it.- SpazioGames

Halo Wars brings the Halo atmosphere in the RTS world, thanks to great sounds, graphics, animations and charisma as well. The game completes the Halo FPS trilogy, unveiling unknown important storyline steps, but the lack of a deeper control layout and innovative ideas results in a superficial management of the troops , which will become frustrating in a lot of gameplay situations. The presence of only 15 campaign missions with only 2 factions Skirmish doesn’t help it to become a "Heroic" product. Probably its still the best "classic-style" RTS for a console, if you don’t consider "EndWar" (which has a different gameplay concept), but it could be a better game.- SpazioGames

Patapon 2 tries to push further the good experience that begun with it predecessor; sadly many of the innovative features that we learned to love are there no more, replaced by a mere reproduction of the same experience delivered from the original title. Fans should try it, but many others could just find it for what it is, more of the same.- SpazioGames

Goat Simulator 3 makes no prisoners and comes out as a fun and non-stop parody of modern open world games. Some of its ideas are way better than others and it lacks that sense of surprise that we got with the first game, but it delivers on its mission to make you laugh again and again.- SpazioGames

En Garde! is a fun and compelling experience, and its best part surely is found in the unforgiving combat system, that hardcore players and casual gamers will enjoy alike: you can freely change the difficulty level in every moment, so that your new life as a swashbuckler can easily adapt to the kind of experience you are looking for.- SpazioGames

Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition for Switch 2 leaves a dual, almost suspended feeling. On one hand, there is the tangible pleasure of rediscovering a game that maintains a rare narrative solidity and an engaging quality. On the other hand, however, it is impossible to ignore how time has affected the formula, making certain moments more predictable, some mechanics more rigid, and some design choices less surprising than they were a decade ago.- SpazioGames

The Bard's Tale Iv Director's Cut is the best version of the game from last year, with a lot of improvements and extra content, but still retains too much little bugs that need to be fixed as soon as possible. A solid choice for all the dungeon crawler fans.- SpazioGames

Merging the two core identities of the Assassin’s Creed franchise was no easy feat, but Ubisoft Quebec largely succeeded. The game boasts a vibrant open world, a wealth of activities, and a solid—if somewhat simplistic—combat system. However, where Assassin’s Creed Shadows stumbles is in its lackluster enemy AI, which often behaves irrationally, and its consistently low difficulty level, even at the highest setting.- SpazioGames
