Just Cause 3 has two souls: one is pure, untarnished and ridiculous fun, the other is pretty raw, unpolished and repetitive. If you like blowing stuff up, launching rocket cows into space, or simply chaos, this game is definitely a dream come true. Just don’t expect an action masterpiece.

Ratchet & Clank Nexus is a good return to the roots of the series, but the lack of new features and the briefness of the campaign are simply unforgivable.

A fun, spectacular-at-times cinematic arcade racing game. Unfortunately many gameplay and technical problems spoil some of the fun, most of all the lame checkpoint system.

With Grand Slam Tennis, the Wii has a new king in the genre. The game has everything that a fan can desire for: good graphics, game modes and longevity. The great multiplayer mode and motion plus support give the title even more appeal. Unfortunately some minor problems don't let the game reach the excellence.

Silence is made up of easy puzzles and it just lasts for about six hours, but the art direction is mesmerizing and the main characters are so well written. It is an enchanting interactive fairy tale and it will surely move you.

Among the Sleep recreates a world between dream and reality, seen by a 2-year-old baby. It is intriguing and disturbing and tells an interesting story. However, it has some technical problems that can annoy some players.

Don't Starve Mega Pack is the definitive edition of a great survival game, with a beautiful "burtonesque" sense of wonder. Try it, if you haven't done before.

We were kinda disappointed by the “Rachel Amber” mystery and this chapter’s pacing, but it’s still an enjoyable ride that closes with a decent cliffhanger.

A very fun and enjoyable title in the early rounds of play. If you are looking for an unusual shooter this could be the game that suits you.

Happy Action Theater is a unique product, which exploits the features of Kinect and manages to recreate onscreen situations that all of us as children, at least once, we have dreamed or imagined living.

Code Vein 2 is the classic example of a sequel that refuses to settle. It doesn’t take shortcuts, nor does it simply refine what already worked; instead, it deliberately tries to expand its scope, even at the risk of overreaching. This choice inevitably creates imbalances, and the game makes no effort to hide them: ambition often exceeds the ability to control it, layering sometimes turns into redundancy, and some solutions struggle to take a fully realized form.

It has some flaws, but it’s also an original and valid cooperative experience. When played with friends it can be brilliant at times, what it lacks is the capability to impress as much when played solo, and some technical finishing touches.

Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 The Final Chapter Prologue is an atypical collection: on one hand able to enchant with Dream Drop Distance, for gameplay and for the graphics, but on the other hand it doesn't impress with Birth by Sleep 0.2. The Back Cover film, then, doesn't transmit great feelings.

Seasons after Fall is a visually stunning video game, able to surprise and enchant thanks to a hand-drawn 2D graphics. On the other hand it may be too simple, due to generally little complex platforming sections and puzzles, devoid of a real challenge rate.

ECHO is a good videogame debut: it's a fantascientific monologue about solitude represented like a theatre play. Its "scene" is highly detailed, but the game is not very technically optimized. The gameplay is deeply based on stealth, but sometimes it lacks of classical mechanics of the genre. Its minimal cast provides a different vision of the science-fiction future, and it's recommended mainly to those who like such an intimistic vision. Others may consider to ponder about.

Mario Sports Superstars won't wow any 3DS fan, since a lot of the content is recycled from other franchises and other 3DS games (such as Mario Golf World Tour e Mario Tennis Open), but, taken for what it is, a nice collection of very good sport-inspired minigames, can grant several hours of fun to both veterans and newcomers.

Nikoderiko: The Magical World is everything that nostalgic fans of old platformers need to dive back into the memories of yesteryear. It may not be among the most original games of the past decade, given the many similarities to Crash Bandicoot and Donkey Kong, but the care with which the work was created allows it to stand at more than decent levels of harmonious enjoyment.

There is no doubt that Shattered Horizon has brought a breath of fresh air, in the FPS genre. Unfortunately there are too many gaps, probably related to inexperience in the field of gaming Futuremark, which do not do take the flight to this title. On all a mediocrity technical realization and optimization, the presence of a single weapon, and only three game modes. Addition, the request of Windows Vista or 7 and a high-end computers, creates an impact heavily on the number of potential players. However we should remember that future updates might make the gaming experience more varied and enjoyable.
