Trails Beyond the Horizon is a game that demands attention, memory, and patience, but in return offers a vast, layered, and coherent narrative, something few JRPGs manage today. The combat system is solid and rewarding, side quests and optional modes add depth, and those who have followed the series so far will find continuous satisfaction.

A good chance to replay a classic, in a shiny new HD version.

FIFA 17 is a great game and without any doubt, is the best chapter of the series on next generation consoles. Frostbite brings brand new physics to the game and the Journey is the first true campaign in the story of FIFA.

F1 2010 is not a traditional driving simulation game. Its driving system is not 100% realistic, but it's deep, demanding and most of all entertaining. Codemasters has managed to start a new series with a title you don't want to miss.

Gears 5 is the natural evolution of the Gears series: a more daring game, in every possible way. The Campaign took us by surprise, not only with its narration, but also with its bold design choices. The single-player experience prepares the player for a second round, with the gargantuan multiplayer section, where we find the glorious old modes and an Escape mode that punished and seduced us.

The story mode adds an entire new aspect to EA's boxing masterpiece, at the same time polishing the physics simulation and overall gameplay of the career. If you like the sport, it's again a must buy.

This game is brilliant, smart and pure fun - a perfect match for Nintendo Switch.

Resident Evil 5 carries on the same action path started with its predecessor. The main innovation is of course co-op mode, which delivers good fun if played online, but due to glitches in the friendly A.I., spoils the single player experience. Die hard fans will be happy to know that the story goes deep, and it's well connected with the last chapters of the series. Graphics and sound are simply stunning. If you miss the old survival horror genre you will surely be disappointed, but Resident Evil 5 is still a great action game, especially if enjoyed all the way through with a friend.

It's a great remaster of two wonderful Kratos' advetnures, yet sometimes you can feel the gameplay has been designen with a portable device in mind.

Dark Souls Remastered is the best version of a wonderful classic game, with 60 fps rock solid, a great netcode and a real high definition. Too bad for some low quality textures and the oversaturated colors that create a bad cohesion between characters and locations.

Even if you hate Claptrap or Clementine, you should take a look at Tales From The Borderlands: it can be the best Telltale series ever.

A great simulation, better every year. Control on the athletes is absolute, and fun for the fans is guaranteed.

On consoles, DICE's work comes without the two things that made it great on PC: scale and over the top graphics. It's still an incredibly solid and compelling online shooter, but it definitely feels too close to Bad Company 2. This year, Battlefield should be a PC only matter.

UFC Undisputed 2010 is a solid game with a strong license well implemented dedicated mostly to fans. A concrete step forward for the series.

An ambitious project has given birth to one of the best titles on the Wii. Great and deep mechanics, finally (almost) accessible gameplay and bestowed with a good control system. Get it and play it with at least a Classic Controller, your WiiMote won't make it.

Castlevania Advance Collection is a great nostalgic experience, a pure 2D action adventure compilation.

Assassin's Creed III is an amazing game, period. Tons of stuff to do, tons of animals to hunt, the magnificence of the Frontier and the pleasure to sail and be a privateer makes this game the best of the series so far.

Steins;Gate 0 has just one fault, which is that you need to play the first game in the series to fully appreciate the story, the character progression, the new twist on some of the protagonists. Apart from this, we're talking about one of the best script in recent memory, and a high quality visual novel for both Vita and Ps4 owners.

Nothing really new for Hearthstone, but a pretty cool adventure with three wings and totally free for us.

A great game, plenty of funny puzzles and platforming. Visually stunning and with some enjoyable boss battles, Outland sometimes lacks in rhythm and narrative depth.

The first Bayonetta is one of the best stylish action game ever. Similar to the Wii U version, this new edition is smoother than the previous one. It is the last chance to play with the sexy witch witch before the arrival of next chapter.

Rayman Legends: Definitive Edition is surely the definitive edition of the game, although it adds very little to the original outing. New skins and Kung Foot tournament are not enough to warrant a second purchase of the game; however, Rayman Legends remains a must-have even four years after its original release if you haven't played it before.
