Mortal Kombat: Legacy Kollection is a worthy tribute to the iconic franchise, blending games, archival footage, and history into a cohesive interactive documentary. However, it feels incomplete — some key titles and features are missing, and the historical coverage ends too soon.

Make Way obviously wants to compete with the MicroMachines series with an innovative form of track building during the race. However, this great idea is overshadowed by poor content and gradual stereotype.

Burning Shores once again explores the theme of loneliness of a protagonist who must bear the fate of the entire world on her shoulders. However, the short gameplay of the DLC offers limited space for addressing the character's relationship issues. For fans of the series, Burning Shores offers a good excuse to return to the world filled with robotic monsters with a few new challenges. Nevertheless, the DLC fails to deliver a meaningful story and deeper character development that would make Burning Shores a must-play expansion for the players.

Nocturnal features fast and furious action as well as an interesting gameplay system with fire and light. With good graphics, atmosphere and entertainment, at least for the few hours it offers.

This massive sequel brings a new dose of great action to the series. However, the story itself is uninteresting and drawn out unnecessarily. Navigation and travelling through the environment could also be improved.

Driving the new edition of F1 is still a great experience, but it didn't come with significantly new and better content, so don't expect too much.

Marathon is an interesting project from Bungie that has some merit, but so far it doesn’t feel like it’s living up to its full potential. It’s held back by limited content, a cluttered layout, poor navigation, and repetitive gameplay. Blacktail has a solid foundation, and incredible open world, but lack of weapons, spells, and enemies. Therefore, it will soon become stereotyped and less attractive.

Blood West despite its underwhelming narrative and lackluster Souls like, Immersive Sim elements still offers its own unique spin on Stalker gameplay set in a Wild West. And even though the game managed to be sometimes too difficult or a little bit too frustrating at times, it never stopped being fun.

Gloomy Eyes is a visually striking and atmospheric game featuring two cooperating characters and clever puzzles. Its story of outsiders finding their place in the world is charming and emotionally engaging, enhanced by Tim Burton–inspired design and music. However, technical issues and frequent bugs disrupt the experience, especially given the game's short length.

The revamped Stronghold Crusader comes with expanded content, but also the awkward intelligence of military units, which are also poorly balanced.

To sum it up, GTFO is a unique cooperative game, but poorly balanced and already with only a small community, which is mostly made up of players who lack skill.

The smaller project mostly gets positive reviews, and in many respects they have to be right: it's not a flop. But at the same time, we don't have the honor of having an adventure that we will remember.

Tempest 4000 brings back all those awesome memories from arcades. Its presentation, visuals and soundtrack are still great. But the game is too similar to TxK and it is a bit pricey.

Arizona Sunshine Remake should be in the library of every action game fan and VR headset owner. It's not a perfect game, and there aren't many improvements over the original, but it's honest and bloody action that could have been a lot better.

Golden Lap aims to bring sports management to those who have never played such games before. It's an accessible and simple game that captures the F1 era of the 1970s well. Unfortunately, it's too simple, and after a few hours you'll be wishing for something a little more complex.

Nightdive Studios brings us another remaster of a classic. There's definitely no blood involved. Blood is still a great retro FPS, but the Refreshed Supply remaster is useless if you own any of the previous versions of the game.

The ravages of time are already showing on Sonic Generations, and while visually it's a very good improvement, some of the content changes are unnecessary and the gameplay hasn't aged well. Shadows Generations, by comparison, at least offers something fresh, albeit shorter. But it does manage to entertain, and you can enjoy those few hours with the game. Overall, this remaster isn't bad at all, but it also shows that Sonic has a problem these days and doesn't quite know how to deal with it.

Party Animals isn't a bad multiplayer game, but it has some strange and almost unnecessary flaws, and the longevity of the fun you'll have playing it is questionable.

Tchia certainly wanted to be a bigger, more distinctive game than it is, I have no doubt that it was created with noble motives, but in the end it unfortunately feels like a half-baked advertising game promoting New Caledonia through loving images and excellent music, but with no real sense of enrichment in it.

If you want to transport yourself to the parts of good old 8-bit for a while, this game is for you.

Crimson Desert is a demanding, complex RPG that can feel punishing and occasionally unfair, especially without constant progression. Studio Teyon have shown that they understand the RoboCop brand and have delivered a game that fits in well with the established world. They've also given us what may be our last chance to enjoy Peter Weller in this iconic role. The action is fun, the shooting is probably the best this year, the upgrading and leveling makes sense, and overall it works well as a game, even if there are a number of hiccups. This game is more than the sum of its parts, though, and for fans it's something they've been waiting for for years.

After so many years, the Need for Speed series has taken different forms. But now the series took one of the worst. There is a lack of new ideas and motivation. The story is really written very poorly, the interaction between the characters is often stupid, and the schematic career starts to bore you very soon. Add to all this the shallow online multiplayer. Unbound is an example of a game where form won out over function.

A nice comic trip across the USA. It has a good idea, atmosphere, processing, and even the basis of the gameplay is not bad, it's just a shame that the gameplay is gradually the same and there are not enough new options to keep the game interesting.

Some elements of the Onimusha 2 remaster still hold up 23 years after its original release, offering moments of engagement and fun. I found F1 Manager 2023 to be slightly worse than last year's edition. In small things, not important stuff, but still. That's the first aspect that pulls the score down. The second one is the fact that after the previous edition we were expecting updates and improvements in every part of the game, but we got basically the same game in terms of content and mechanics.

With Madison, we got a unique indie horror game that was wonderfully atmospheric and genuinely scary. It also scored with a very well-written, multi-layered story. All of this is present here. However, the controls and interactions don't translate well to virtual reality, often being clunky and choppy, and can take you out of the immersion and atmosphere of the game.

The cult adventure series Simon the Sorcerer is back! But is there anything to get excited about? Not really. This bland, unsalted adventure game won't even make a dog bark in a few months.

However, the game lacks the depth to keep you glued to the director's chair for dozens of hours. Blockbuster Inc. is a beautiful ode to both the magical world of filmmaking and management games. But after a while, the game becomes very repetitive, lacks any real challenge, and fails to motivate players to continue creating new films.

The Last Hero of Nostalgaia aspired to create a compelling satire on unending cycle of nostalgia, but during its development the devs got somehow tangled in the restraining string of its own narrator. This somehow unique love letter to Dark Souls is not only sprinkled with various nostalgic gags from pop culture, but filled with endless references, humor, and lack of original ideas… Bugs, glitches and more than a decade of idealization created this soulslike mess which has its moments, but somehow misses the very point it’s trying to make.

The first souls-borne child, who seized to become a From Software successor is returning after nine long winters. This new Lampbearer presents a well-established, and captivating setting, filled with a set of well-known features, that any true soulslike fan will love and hate equally. Duality of the game’s worlds provides unique aesthetics and puzzle-like mechanics; however, its potential is never reached and noticeable imperfections are ever so noticeable. Developers deliberately sabotage players and frustrate genre fans, who’ve simply hoped for more…

Peaky Blinders is certainly one of the more interesting games created directly for VR, although it suffers from the characteristic ills that accompany this sphere. The shorter length can be justified by a fairly solid dynamic story, where you have the impression that for a moment you have entered a film with the usual footage.

In Sound Mind is an above-average indie project. It is gratifying that the fear presented in the game does not build on cheap jump scares, but systematically builds a thrilling atmosphere.

Screamer tries to blend anime storytelling with arcade racing, but the result feels disjointed and ultimately boring. While the visual style and split-screen multiplayer are welcome, the repetitive structure, weak driving mechanics, and poorly presented story that’s easy to skip drag the experience down. It’s a unique idea that never truly comes together.

Redout 2 may be the fastest racing game in the universe, but it is definitely not the best one. It's a cool tribute to F-Zero and WipEout, but there are too many flaws (and lacks of content) for the game to reach their level.

The main character entertains you, tugs at your heartstrings, and you're happy to be on this journey with her. But when it comes to the twists and turns of the story and the internal logic of the plot of the new game, that's where it starts to creak.

This collection is the best way to experience the original Rayman, offering multiple versions with modern enhancements and a wealth of archival content for longtime fans. However, as a 30th anniversary tribute, it feels underwhelming — lacking additional entries and replacing the original soundtrack with a new one that doesn’t quite capture the same magic.

Fatal Frame II: Crimson Butterfly Remake delivers a tense and atmospheric survival horror experience with rich folklore, immersive sound design, and a compelling story. While the remake updates visuals and expands content, clunky controls, outdated backtracking, and occasional design frustrations prevent it from fully capturing the original’s mastery.

I can't say I didn't have fun with Nintendo World Championships: NES Edition. Far from it. This collection just goes to show how timeless these classic NES games were. However, they're still just relics of a bygone era, and this collection doesn't bring anything new or extra to the table to justify such a hefty price tag.

Puyo Puyo Tetris 2S remains a fun and addictive fusion of two iconic puzzle games, offering the same solid gameplay as the original and even the first entry from years ago. Most of the new additions could have been delivered as a free update, making this version hard to recommend to returning players.

If you're looking for a new RTS and don't have high expectations, you can spend your time here with an extensive campaign. Multiplayer doesn't have enough players and it hardly gets any better.

Song in the Smoke is an excellent example of how games can effectively evoke strong emotions with just a few words. Cinematic effects and similar elements are not necessary. All that is required is a good idea and a compelling narrative, which is precisely what this game delivers. However, the gameplay itself is the game's downfall. While not inherently terrible, it may not be as enjoyable over time. Despite this, it will undoubtedly find its fans.

Misc. A Tiny Tale is a charming, short 3D platformer clearly inspired by Chibi-Robo—to the point where it often feels like a fan-made tribute or low-budget clone. That said, it’s a wholesome experience with a good heart, cheerful atmosphere, and likable robotic characters. Unfortunately, the game never truly excels—its platforming feels imprecise, combat is dull, and the visuals reflect its limited budget. It’s cute, but hard to shake the feeling you’re playing a "Chibi-Robo from Wish."

The game is designed for both Star Wars fans and non-fans, offering standalone stories that also feature connections to the Star Wars universe. A content-packed World War II RTS where the authors took a step in the right direction by simplifying it a bit, but without fundamentally compromising its complexity and attention to detail. But a lot of bugs spoil everything, and it will probably take a long time to get everything working as it should.

Far Eastern farming game still has a lot going for it, and it's perhaps surprising that it bravely left Early Access and opened up to the world without much fanfare. The gameplay is fun, but the monotony and lack of variety only serve to highlight the imperfect strategic elements.

UbiSoft is pushing energy to new Just Dance with single engine. There is double amount of content in Just Dance+ subscription, but this year’s setlist is a bit underwhelming. After last year’s trifecta of Harry Styles, Taylor Swift or Dua Lipa, there was hunger for more…

The Thing: Remastered brings back to life the unjustly forgotten survival horror game that, while never achieving the cult status of its cinematic predecessor, still offers an interesting gameplay experience with mechanics that still feel fresh and new today. Unfortunately, the game also suffers from some of the original's shortcomings, such as very weak AI and a drop in pacing and atmosphere towards the end.

The war strategy from the world of terminators and machines that want to take over the world surpasses even the movies in some ways. On the other hand, it has ailments that spoil it all. Mainly The frustrating difficulty of the campaign will not please you.

Nintendo Switch Sports keeps the spirit of Wii Sports alive, but there are some compromises in its design that hold back its potential. But still, multiplayer is fun as ever.

Overall, Avatar is a strangely designed game that offers something different than you would expect from an action-adventure game in this world. Not an action adventure, it's more of a survival effort and slow stealth combat. But in no area is it fully fleshed out. But the world itself is handled very nicely.

Legendary director John Carpenter lent his name to this zombie-filled co-op action game, which is acceptable but doesn't quite measure up to the quality of the master's films.

NHL 25 plays better than the last few games in the series, but it doesn't bring any real changes, improvements or new features. In the end, it's just an overpriced update.

Overall, The Lake House is a nice expansion, it doesn't offer much of a story of its own, but it's rich with connections and hints of where Control 2 will go. Ultimately, getting players ready for Control 2 is also the goal of the expansion. Don't expect much else from it.
