Gunpoint is stylish, incredibly atmospheric and quite deceptive as it is actually a clever puzzle rather than stealth action. Too bad it is only 3 hours long, and there is no incentive to revisit the game when you’re done with it.- Riot Pixels

Valkyria Chronicles 4 is a solid game, but if you are new to the series, I suggest to start with Valkyria Chronicles Remastered. VC4 builds on its ideas and the fans will enjoy it a lot, although I am a bit worried that the developers do not know where to go next — it is painfully apparent in their approach to gameplay mechanics and evolution of their fictional universe.- Riot Pixels

Despite catering to hardcore players and limited gameplay options, CTR Nitro-Fueled successfully rides the nostalgia wave, but I’m not ready to become the drift guru just yet.- Riot Pixels

Age of Wonders 4 didn't overwhelm my expectations. But even now, without all planned DLC, you can easily spend dozens of hours on this game.- Riot Pixels

Life Is Strange is a very controversial game. On one hand, it sets a new quality standard in ‘cinematic’ adventure games — from now on, they must give freedom to players and make them emotionally invested in on-screen events. On the other hand, it’s packed with dumb gaffes and disastrous shortcomings. Still, if you managed to reach the end credits and spent the next couple of days thinking about the characters, then it was worth it.- Riot Pixels

Was it worth it to sacrifice the single-player campaign? If this was the only way to create this awesome multiplayer package, then yes, absolutely. Black Ops 4 channels the spirit of the first two Modern Warfare games, and this is an achievement by itself.- Riot Pixels

The emotional side, be it notes scribbled by the characters or encounters with other survivors, is hands down the best thing in the whole game.- Riot Pixels

Don't Starve Together does little to fix the original's glaring problems, but still, conquering the wilderness together with friends is a lot of fun.- Riot Pixels

Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater is a beautiful and sometimes thrilling movie and an outdated game. It is a boring retelling of the original that has nothing to offer the player, except for modern graphics and modern controls.- Riot Pixels

The sequel is not exactly long on fresh ideas, but the multiplayer is sheer joy and it reminds me of Perfect Dark Zero and TimeSplitters 2.- Riot Pixels

Bungie dropped the ball on loot in Destiny 2, but even despite this and some other jarring drawbacks, the game is solid. It amazes you with excellent shooter mechanics and smart enemies, blinds you with colorful explosions and splashes of super abilities, enthralls you with breath-taking vistas and intricately designed weapons. Even the dumb story has a flipside — you will laugh yourself to tears playing the campaign with your fire team mates.- Riot Pixels

If you compare Dragonborn’s price on Steam to that of the original game, you’d think they’re offering you a third of Skyrim. Naturally, this isn’t the case – the island of Solstheim is not so action-packed. Yet a sandbox, even a small one, is way more enjoyable than a handful of new locations and random quests from Dawnguard.- Riot Pixels

Those who regard Skyrim as a virtual tourism app, will enjoy exploring every nook and cranny in Hitman. If I had to pick just one reason to play this game, it's because you can immerse yourself in its meticulously created mini-worlds.- Riot Pixels

Monaco fails at balancing fun and cold math; the first levels are so easy that you’ll run through them without even thinking, but by the end the awkward arcade shenanigans will become the downfall of your carefully laid plans.- Riot Pixels

Besides killing enemies, there is not much to do; the entire game is a linear path from one small arena to the next one. Yes, there is a story, but in Bastion it was seamlessly integrated into gameplay, and here it only breaks the pace.- Riot Pixels

A swarm of bugs is the only serious flaw of Wrath of the Righteous. While the developers managed to avoid a Kingmaker-level catastrophe, please do save this game for the upcoming holidays, or maybe even take a vacation — it’s worth it.- Riot Pixels

Broforce is a 2D relative of Just Cause. Got bored? Go entertain yourself. Life’s too difficult? You can stop whenever you want. Just don’t expect anything from the developers — they put hundreds of exploding barrels everywhere, gave us a ton of guns and called it a day.- Riot Pixels

Hearts of Iron 4 in one word is "optimization". There is now proper gameplay mechanics instead of duct-taped hacks and artificial restrictions seen in previous installments; the AI, freed from dozens of scripts, now thinks and acts on its own, while the game itself is more accessible and comprehensible, but still offers the same depth.- Riot Pixels
